Con Azucar Cafe

This is a fun cafecito with great drinks and food. It has a small dining room and which creates a long line if you want to eat there. After waiting in line for 30 minutes, we ended up ordering drinks to go and have everything ready in 5 min. Drink prices are on the high side, but you can taste the quality. Highly recommend

Took the 2 hour drive to see what all the hype was about & so glad I did because this place did not disappoint at all! The yummy giant CONCHA was fresh, the sandwiches were delicious & the coffee was made to peefection! I will definitely be back.

We travel all the way from Yuba City to have a coffee, a hot chocolate and of course to take pics! We loved everything about it! I didn't even know you could get your face in your coffee. We will definitely come back when we can.

Beautiful lil cafe in Downtown, San Jose. We had Duvalin Latte (Strawberry infused latte) that was excellent! They also have a dry cake/ muffin which I am a huge fan of because its not too sweet & just perfect 😍 Happy people working there & cute vibes 🫶🏻

Wonderful place to experience! If you like coffee and like to try different blends, then this is the place. Con Azucar Cafe takes their coffee seriously. Especially with a statement like on the wall.. Que bonito cuando Te Mandan Al Carajo y allá Tambien Encuentras Cafe (How nice when they send you to hell and there you also find coffee) they can even put your picture on top of your coffee. You have to see this for sure!

I had an iced Americano. The coffee roast was good! When I am not fasting, I'll go back for the legendary Pan Dulce. This has a really pretty interior. It was formally a Starbucks. My aunt said her latte and pan were great.

The place is great but too small for being so popular. The venue needs to be expanded. The bread and unique specialty lattes are delicious 😋

The atmosphere is always so nice. The food taste delicious. I always love the Horchata iced latte and the mazapan!.
Avocado toast is also a must try! I have yet to be disappointed.
Oh and you can also receive loyalty points!!

As far as location, parking is a bit of a hassle but a parking garage is located close by.

This place has the cutest decor although small, it’s cozy, and the food is really good, very cute presentation as well. Customer service is great, Eileen was very patience and provided exceptional service to my family and I, best of all she did it with a smile! A great welcoming for the first time here. Thank you!

A Mexican coffee shop in the downtown of San Jose. It’s usually pretty busy so no surprise it is one of the best coffee spot in town. I tried Duvalin one of their signature coffee and it tasted pretty good. Little pricier than Starbucks but this one is a must try for it’s taste and ambience.They also have couple of sandwiches and quick bites to have which I did not try yet. I would definitely comeback to try more of their coffees and quick bites.Highly recommend!

Was inspired to go here by a friend that couldn't go.
The Horchata Cap was so good I should've gotten two of 'em. Would've helped for going to Opening Day for the Giants.
Try to go when it's not so busy. I waited way too long for my one drink. It was worth the wait. But in reality you shouldn't have to wait 30+mins for one cappuccino.

The food was absolutely delicious and the coffee was so smooth and creamy 😋 definitely a must if your in town

I had the horchata matcha and it was honestly the best matcha drink i’ve ever had. We also got the americano and a straight coffee both were delicious. For food we got the caprease toast and the regular avacado toast along with the grilled cheese. The capreasse toast is definitely a better deal than the regular avocado. The concha looked so good. Overall the aesthetic of the place was adorable and so nice. there wa a line out the door but there is a limit of the time you can sit. the line is definitely worth it for the drinks and food.

They did a picture of my dog for latte art! I have had a lot of coffees with handcrafted latte art, but this was my first experience with a digital one that allows you to get whatever image you like on your coffee, which is very cool. My choice of drink was cappuccino in oat milk, and I had it with avocado toast. The baristas are very friendly and the cafe is very artsy and cute. Would be nice to have more vegan options for food.

The food and coffee was great! And the concha was so soft and fluffy great to dip in your coffee! They have limited seating inside and some outdoor seating. When we walked in there was no line to order but before we left the line was out the door. Not that big inside so they have the line outside and only allow a certain amount of people inside at a time. Service is fast so don’t worry they line will go by quick.

I can’t believe that I am just now discovering this amazing place. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious chai tea. The food looks amazing. I will have to come back and try their avocado toast . I was going to get my chai to go, but instead, I decided to stay and catch up on my email from here. I’m coming back! I will be a regular.

Keep in mind this is a downtown location so it’s going to be small and many people visit. All these negative reviews on no sitting and paid parking, well you should expect that. Love this cafe! Cutest esthetic, Latino own, good coffee mixes (although are on the sweeter side) and the pan here is always fresh and so good! I love that they made some of them smaller, less guilt to eat a whole one lol. Overall, really enjoy having this place close by.

I tend to try most new downtown San Jose food businesses and found Con Azucar while I was walking past it on Santa Clara Street. Being a coffee lover I had to try the place when it opened.

Over two visits here I have tried the Cappuccino, latte and Caprese toast. Liked all three. Their coffee is one of the better ones in the area with a surprising added touch of machine created foam art (examples attached). The Caprese toast with avocado spread was very good.

The staff is very friendly and the place is nicely designed. Try it out.

There is a line to get in. This tells you everything about this place... coffee and bread was delightful. As a first time customer, service was amazing! The employee helped me get my image in my coffee reason why I went to begin with definitely going back and recommending to all
