We went there for dinner and the servers were attentive. The pizza was delicious and they give good portions for the price. We ordered zeppoles and they were the best!!! The drinks were amazing too. Definitely worth the price and highly recommended

During our visit to Newport from Switzerland to enjoy the summer activities and music festival, we had the pleasure of discovering Nikolas Pizza, a gem in the heart of Newport. This delightful restaurant quickly became our go-to spot for both dinner and weekend lunches.
What really stands out for us, especially compared to our experiences in Switzerland, is the exceptional service and the wonderful staff. The food consistently arrived on time, and the attentive waiters struck the perfect balance between attentiveness and giving us space to enjoy our meal.
Speaking of the food, it's simply fantastic! As fans of Mediterranean and Italian cuisine, we were thrilled with the restaurant's diverse and mouthwatering selection. We even took some pictures of the incredibly delicious dishes to remember the experience.
On one of our visits, we were warmly greeted by a friendly hostess who, surprisingly, spoke perfect Swiss German; apparently, she had lived in Switzerland and had mastered our unique language. Her helpfulness made us feel right at home and added a special touch to our dining experience.
In addition to the restaurant's inviting ambiance and excellent service, we were pleased to find convenient parking, making our visits even more enjoyable.
We also couldn't resist trying their pizza delivery service and were not disappointed. The pizzas arrived promptly, straight from the oven, and were deliciously warm and fresh.
Overall, we wholeheartedly recommend Nikolas Pizza to anyone seeking a restaurant with great, reasonably priced food, a friendly atmosphere, top-notch service, and even the convenience of pizza delivery. It's a wonderful place that made our time in Newport even more memorable.

Excellent as always!
I could easily tell this is a local favorite. Many large groups of families sat around us. We were seated promptly, the service was friendly and relatively prompt. Portions on entrees and appetizers are very generous.
The desserts was so worth it. Do not skip on the carrot cake!

The best clam chowder that I have ever tasted! They serve pizza slices. I had the Greek one and it was very good. My husband loved his food as well. The prices are very reasonable.

The staff at Nikolas Pizza are simply wonderful - their attentiveness and willingness to accommodate your every need truly set them apart.

Let's not forget about the food itself, which is nothing short of a culinary delight. The selection offered is perfectly curated, ensuring that there is something for everyone to enjoy. What's more, Nikolas Pizza seems to have a magnetic pull for celebrities. It's not uncommon to find yourself rubbing elbows with some of the biggest names in the industry. Just the other day, I had the pleasure of sharing the dining space with none other than the legendary Jay Leno. Observing him interact with the restaurant staff was a truly memorable experience. One time I spotted Nicolas Cage there as well. It's clear that this restaurant holds a special allure for the rich and famous.

Every time I step foot into Nikolas Pizza, I am greeted with warmth and a genuine sense of belonging. The ambiance is uplifting, creating an atmosphere where one can truly relax and indulge in the incredible flavors offered. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant as an absolute must-visit. Whether you're looking for a great meal or a place to connect with friends in the vibrant city of Newport, Nikolas Pizza is the perfect destination for an unforgettable dining experience.

This spot is a home run. With half price entrees, apps and pizzas on Thursday and half priced pizzas Tuesday and Wednesday, you can't go wrong! The meatballs are right up there with the fine Italian restaurants in the area, if not better. The pizza (the ONLY place on the island to have a whole-wheat crust option) is very solid as well, as are other selections we've tried. The eggplant parmesan (pictured), while oily and thicker than I prefer, was very tasty. The meat sauce is perfect and reminds me of my nana's (the marinara, on the other hand, is great for those who like oregano in their sauce). All of this, along with great prices and a friendly manager (and servers), make this place earn their 5 stars!

We've been going to Nikolas for more many decades now and Chris and Melissa are wonderful owners. The food is great and the service always exceptional. They truly care about Newporters and offer incredible off season deals. The portions are always large and very reasonably priced. We are very fortunate to have the business in our neighborhood.

This place has amazing gluten free pizza. They have a maximum cost for any pizza you want of $26. The GF options can be pricey but with the maximum it is well worth the price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will for sure be back.

Fell in love with this restaurant! While visiting Newport, looking for a good restaurant for dinner, we came across this pizzeria with great reviews! Nikolas is amazing. The wait staff was friendly and the service here is extraordinary. We Ordered an appetizer and 2 pizzas.

We are from New York and were pleasantly surprised to find such a great restaurant! The atmosphere was festive and welcoming for Christmas. The food was delicious. The owners were gracious and hospitable, and the waitress was pleasant and professional. It was a great way to segue into 2024. We will look forward to dining here again when we return in the spring.

As a mostly vegan individual, it's not always a breeze to discover a delightful spot that offers scrumptious, freshly prepared, and healthy vegan or vegetarian treats without breaking the bank. Luckily, Nikolas Pizza is one of those fantastic places where you can explore an array of these dishes at prices that won't leave you feeling guilty.
One of the highlights for me was the option to customize your own pizza with the toppings of your choice. I couldn't resist capturing a snapshot of my creation, and I've attached it to this review to share the joy!
During my visit to Newport, I was thrilled to find Nikolas Pizza conveniently situated within easy reach of all the attractions. Plus, they have a great parking area for restaurant patrons, which is a big bonus in Newport, where parking can sometimes be a challenge.
Beyond the food and location, I must commend the staff for their warmth and attentiveness. They made the dining experience even more enjoyable, and it's evident that they genuinely care about their customers.
All in all, I can recommend this establishment for anyone seeking a delightful vegan or vegetarian dining experience in Newport. Nikolas Pizza ticks all the boxes and left me with a truly happy and satisfied feeling.

Baron was an excellent waiter. Very kind and quick with food and wine. The gluten free pizza crust was nice and crunchy. A good amount of cheese and not a ton of sauce, just the way I like it. The house cabernet was good. Dining area is not wheel chair accessible. But there is outdoor seating that is accessible and available when the weather is nice.

Best pepperoni pizza on the island, my favorite mild wings, and the most delicious cheesy fries. They never forget my side of blue cheese!!

The owners Chris and Teresa are island legends and I love to see them when I stop by.

Best to go in on their special half-off menu days - this place has basically saved my credit score!

We had a great meal here! Staff was nice and attentive. I had a traditional gyro which I would describe as "deconstructed". It was very tasty and i got to put the perfect amounts of ingredients for me.
Jessica was particularly sweet and helpful. We had a couple of servers helping so the first check we were given had an error, which I only noticed after we paid the check. She cheerfully voided it and got a corrected bill. Nice experience all around!!

I had a bridal shower for my daughter last week at my home. Nikolas Pizza catered it. All the food was delicious and fresh. The pizzas were a huge hit. Nikolas Pizza was professional and timely. If you are planning a party and looking for a restaurant to cater, hands down Nikolas Pizza” . Chris and Teresa the owners are the best!

Amazing!!! Went here for the first time & the pizza was great! Nice crunch and not too thick or thin. Customer service was awesome and the staff was nothing less but sweet! Will visit again when in town!

We went on a Friday evening for dinner. First and foremost, parking in Newport is a hassle, but not at Nikolas. They have their own parking lot.
Second, the service. Right from the host to the waitress, everyone was super courteous. The order was brought in correctly and in a short time.
Third, the food. Not only the food was great, but the portion is large. We ordered Eggplant parmesan. It came with a full serving of Pasta and a few slices of garlic bread. Obviously, we cannot finish it.
Fourth, the prices are reasonable for the food quality and quantity. Per person, you can have a full meal at below $15.
Finally, the ambience... We sat outside on the curbside, which was nice given the weather. The chairs and the tables were clean. We did not go inside, so can't speak of how the ambience was inside.

Everytime we visit newport, we make sure to stop by here either for lunch or dinner.. Food of Nikolas never disappoints you.. Definitely try out pizza.. The staff is very friendly plus they have their own parking space so you don't need to worry about parking lot..

Really impressed with the food here. I got my pizza delivered and driver was nice and the showed up a little early. Pizza was great and they brought plates and napkins with them. I was happy I decided to order here. Thanks for being amazing
