Oceans & Earth Restaurant

Amazing food, ambiance and service. We find ourselves asking "are you sure this is gluten free?" Everything was delicious from the best flatbread, perfectly cooked and seasoned entrees to the delicious and creative desserts (SO GOOD). We love how Chef Adam checks on his guests and how well the staff works together. We will be back soon.

Best restaurant I’ve been to in quite awhile, and it’s even gluten-free. The 6 persons in our group all rated the food as “great” or “amazing.” Service was excellent. All entrees served in a presentation that reflects notable attention to detail. And all in a wonderfully casual atmosphere that includes outdoor seating! Recommend you make a reservation if you want a chance to sample this gem of a restaurant, and ask for Jamie as your server — he was attentive & knowledgeable about the menu selections.

Been a customer for many years. The entire menu ..minus a few beers is Gluten free.Service is always great...Ask for Jordan she's the Best..

Eaten here twice recently and I love it. Nothing beats feeling safe when you’re out to dinner! We ordered the chicken tenders with potatoes, steak and fish and chips. All were delicious. We also had the flatbread appetizer which was tasty! We ended with the berry cobbler and ice cream. Wow, that was fantastic! Highly recommend this dedicated gluten free restaurant.Must make reservations for dining here!

Me and my wife have travelled looking for real gluten free cuisine. However, Oceans and Earth is unique in that it has a full delicious, farm to table-real gluten free menu. The food and the service was wonderful, the ambience was great and we even met the chef/owner, Adam at the end of the night.

I brought my Dad here for his birthday, and we had an awesome time! Live music, great food, and wonderful service. Definitely a hidden gem and a must for a fine dining experience.

Definitely one of my FAVORITE restaurants in SoCal! Their gluten free items are better than the traditionally prepared items at other places, like the fish and chips, flatbread and hamburgers. If you’re in the area do not miss it! You’ll need a reservation though because it’s usually booked early. Enjoy!

Wonderful, completely gluten-free dining. The hostess was uninformed about how to handle service animals, but otherwise the experience was wonderful.

The food was delicious! We ordered two appetizers (cheese, crab bombs) and they were wonderful. We also ordered the Fish & Chips and a pasta dish. The pasta was excellent, which is not an easy thing for a gluten-free restaurant. Food was delivered with great timing and at wonderful temperatures. Knowing that the food was responsibly sourced and organic helped make our dining completely guilt-free as well.

The bar has a good selection, and carries some gluten-free options as well as craft IPA like Sculpin and Delicious. My wife had a margarita she enjoyed, and I tried the gluten-free IPA.

The atmosphere was subdued, with light pop music in the background at a reasonable level. The decor is fitting for the Oceans & Earth theme. There is the live music at times, which isn't my "thing", but is probably enjoyable to others.

The service was marvelous, attentive without being smothering, positive and friendly. We took a dessert to go.

I recommend making an appointment if you intend to arrive after 5 p.m. There is also a Sunday Brunch that we haven't experienced yet. Prepared to be patient with the hostess if you have a service animal as she might try to push you outside or demand documentation.

I highly recommend this restaurant.

Update: still doing fine after the pandemic, but reservations required. We have tried most of the menu now, the only thing I don't recommend is the fish and chips.

October 2022: we came back! We came back for our wedding dinner. We couldn't find any caterers who cook in dedicated gluten free kitchens so THANK YOU for being dedicated gluten free 😀❤💍

July 2021--I'm recently diagnosed Celiac. I invited my family to come explore gluten free dining. Everyone loved all their dishes. Our server Zeid is so attentive and responsive, thank you so much for being great! Even my difficult to please 93 year old Italian grandmother was delighted 😍

They make gluten free food fun and delicious. The ambient was super nice: friendly, nice, and accommodating staff, live music, wintery decorations… I had a really nice time and am looking forward eating more at this wonderful restaurant.

Amazing food. I ordered the tuna poke and the crab Mac n cheese - absolutely incredible. One of the best restaurant meals I’ve had. Incredible gluten free food, but you wouldn’t even know it was gf.

I am a Celiac and it was so nice to have an entire restaurant worth of food to choose from. I was like a kid in a candy store.

You know when you watch a competition on Food Network and you see really creative dishes that are not too heavy that wow the judges? I always wonder where this level of chefs/restaurants are. Ocean center Earth is one of those. Top level cuisine In an upscale casual environment like you would expect in Southern California. In my opinion this is the best restaurant in Orange County. It is absolutely the best gluten-free restaurant in Southern California. You would never know it was gluten-free from the flavors. 10/10 highly recommend! Incredible on every level. The newly diagnosed Celiac, I struggle with eating out. This place met my needs and beyond. What a gem! The passion comes through the food and the atmosphere is gorgeous and service is outstanding. I wish I had a place like this back where I live in the Boston-Providence region. Thank you so much!

Great gluten free food is hard to find and this place is excellent. Will definitely be back.

I'm supposed to eat as close to gluten free as possible as I'm Diabetic. I just have never liked anything I've tried. The Gluten free Burgers are the best. My neice had the salmon, and her daughter had the Barbie burger with gluten-free Mac and cheese. (She said it was fantastic and wished they had an Oceans & Earth back in Texas where she lives.)

The food was awesome. Highly recommend the flatbread, cobbler, fried chicken, and teriyaki bacon tacos. All was yummy.
