Wow an exceptional experience working with Barker & Sons.
They were prompt to respond and scheduled the next day. I had a leaky hose bid and a
a slow bathroom sink drain. Carlos was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, with excellent communication skills. He explained everything to me thoroughly. It was clear and transparent.
Imagine that! The price was fair and reasonable, the work was done
with expertise. I finally feel like I found a plumbing company that I can trust.

I read reviews here on Yelp and pay attention to what plumbers on different companies do for people according to their stories here in Yelp. I had an issue with my main sewer line backed up from paper towels being flushed down the toilet, by some one in my family. After adjusting to the issue for a more then a few days I decided to call for quote. Barker and Sons Plumbing & Rooter were good, they had a quick response, from the person on the phones, they were there in 1/2 hour, they always wear protective shoe covers when entering the house. Since I knew that jet cleaning was what I was thinking I need so in my mind that would be $375-$400 from other quotes I got from other companies in 2017 so I thought I would have to pay that. I was told that the first course of action was first snake the drain instead of jet cleaning from Carlos, got an estimate to do it at $238 I thinking gee less than $400 so I approved it, they snaked the drain with a 75Foot electric motor powered snake which cleared the clog down stream which leads to the driveway opening, I could hear the water rush down from the drive way outlet. After I have a free camera inspection done by another man with 3 others total of 4 men, after checking it the main line was mostly clear about 90%. After that they suggested to open up the driveway drain and replace it 2 drains so they could jet clean both the line going in and the line going out if needed. So that would be one leading backwards to the house and one leaving the house to the main sewer, that would require them to break up the concrete driveway , dig a hole and replace the sewer pipe then replace the soil and concrete the driveway it also included a free jet cleaning of the sewer pipe this cost was estimated of $8,581.00 includes a 5 year jet clean warranty. The jet clean alone would have been $1,125.00 I refused and said well I'll consider it, they were all professional and understanding. I recommend using this company they got the job done. P.S. I know how car sales work this to me is the same , they first clear a clog and try to make a bigger sale if possible later with a closer. That may not have been the case. Their recommendation seems logical to have the access from the driveway which is 4" wide to use the jet cleaning because jet cleaning requires a 4" outlet not a 2" outlet that most washing machines and other areas have to access the main sewer outlets but at the same time no body on our street ever had that done to their driveway. Time will tell.

Absolutely the best professional service by Nate and Julian. They replaced our water mainline in an efficient and caring matter. If I had a concern, they patiently answered… They’re attention to detail of the job and use of the best replacement items were greatly appreciated. Nate and Julian were on time, professional, and informative. My wife and I truly appreciate the work they did on our home and the respect they gave us and the project. Lastly, the customer service team was amazing! The follow up and ensuring that we were being taken care of was very well done and received! All of our shower hardware (bath spout, dial, and shower head) needed to be replaced. I started the work myself then realized I was in a bit over my head as the work started going into the wall itself. My wife said Barker and Sons had good reviews.
First contact was with Tina. She was incredibly friendly and patient with all of our questions. We had to coordinate a few things and told her we’d call back.
Second contact was with Jonathan. He informed us that they could send a technician out immediately for a free evaluation but we asked if first thing in the AM worked and he said of course.
We were assigned a technician and were provided a picture of Carlos via text message so we knew who was coming. Carlos greeted us with a friendly smile and a strong handshake which unfortunately is a rarity nowadays. I explained the situation and Carlos got right to work on his evaluation.
Not only did Carlos take the time to explain to me what needed to be done but he gave me options. No pressure. No rush. We were given an extremely fair price and they even offer no an interest payment plan.
Carlos did incredible work. Our shower looks brand new. He answered all of our questions. Just an exemplary experience from start to finish from this company. Thank you to the whole team and to Carlos. It was a pleasure having you in our home.

Carlos was excellent. Came 30 minutes after I called and was very comprehensive and transparent while he was here. Put together three quotes for what we needed and we took the middle option, which was changing our valves and piping.

I noticed a damp spot on the outside wall of my house that was slowly getting bigger.
Realizing it was a leak, I called Barker and Sons and they were able to get someone out to my house quick. I was fortunate enough to have James come out and locate where it was coming from and do the necessary repairs to fix it. It ended up being the hot water hose that rat had been chewing on probably to keep warm since we’ve had unusually cold weather.
We’ve used Barker and Sons in the past and have always been happy with the quality of work they’ve done. I want to point out the exceptional job done by James. He was respectful, friendly and very informative about the work being done. He even gave me tips on preventative measures that will be useful in the future. He took care in cleaning up after leaving it looking better before he arrived. I even received a follow up text days later checking to make sure my problem was solved. Over all it was one of the best experiences I’ve had with any company or technician.

Above expectations! This was a major sewer line repair/replacement. Orlando and his crew worked in brutal heat 10-12 hours a day for 3+ days excavating and replying two sewer lines then on the 4th day relining the remaining sewer lines. Alway courteous and consciences of the home and occupants. Cleaned up daily and completed the job in a timely manner. Good plumbers are hard to find and not cheap! I feel I got excellent value and a great job done right. P.S Sammy and Julian and the rest of the team were top notch. Sammy don't forget your hat ,)

James was professional, polite and reliable. He was honest and found the cause of the water leak relatively fast. I would highly recommend this company.

On 12/14/23, Scotty from Barker and Sons helped us by cutting and capping off 2 plastic pipes. One of the pipes accidentally was broken and water was gushing out all over our backyard. Scotty was polite, reliable and highly professional, he took care of our water emergency.

On 1/8/24, Warren P. helped us find the source of a water leak in our bathroom. Warren was polite, reliable and knowledgeable. He replaced our old toilet in a timely fashion.

Zachary was my technician and he did an amazing job! Not only did he come out after hours and a very long day, but he was incredibly professional, explained everything, and fixed our issue quickly. I couldn’t recommend him more. Great asset to your company.

Our hot water heater was leaking. We wanted to switch to a tankless water heater. We called them for same day service on a weekend. They came that same day and gave us an estimate. We had a new tankless water heater in 2days. Everyone we talked to at Barker and Sons were very nice and professional. The techs were prompt and clean. We are very happy! We have found our go to plumber!

This company is great. From the first call that I made all the way through the final inspection, I could not have been happier with the service. I called Barker & Sons after the first plumber was not successful in clearing my 4 inch line, after trying for about an hour, and suggected that I call another plumber. I was assisted by Linda, Alissa, Samuel, Garret, Ricky, and Richardo. Each of them were very professional and ready to help. Customer service was excellent and they treated my home as if it were their own; protected the floors and walls and made sure everything was as clean as when they arrived. Plumbing repairs on a 60 year old house (slab foundation) can be expensive, but if you need to get it repaired and done right, this comnpany is the one to call.

This was the most positive experience ever!! I called on a Saturday, early in the morning, they answered right away, sent a plumber out by 10:00am the same morning. James who came was professional and a can-do person. They did not charge a fee to come out to consult either, and did not have an upcharge for Saturday. I will DEFINITELY be calling Barker and Sons for all my plumbing needs from now on. I highly recommend them.

This was my first time using Barker and Sons Plumbing. I would definitely use them again. They're available 7 days a week & evenings. I needed my shower fixed and I had purchased my own part wanting them to install it.
Scott was honest by telling me that the part I purchased had a lifetime warranty but I couldn't wait any longer.
The estimate he quoted me was reasonable and installed faster than expected.

I'm really impressed with the customer service provided by Barker and Sons Plumbing and Rooter staff. They were responsive, polite, and they worked hard to ensure I received the services needed as soon as possible. They also kept me in the loop with any changes that needed to be made and also when the plumber was on his way. The plumber was on time, courteous, and very professional. He was also knowledgeable about what I needed and how to fix the problem right away, which he was able to do quickly and seamlessly. It was a little pricey (over 200$ to replace a toilet handle), but it was worth it to have great customer service, a quick response, and a reputable company. The plumber also gave me some good tips to consider for the future, which was appreciated. Thank you, Barker and Sons, for providing excellent work and services to your customers!

Stop scrolling! You found the right plumber! It is an old house. Scared to death someone would come out and tell me I needed to re-pipe the house. I was expecting a worse case scenario nightmare of an upsell. Times are tough right now. Joe came out, gave me numerous options and pricing. Even though I had to go with the least expensive option, he remained polite and respectful. Communication with scheduling, and arrival was top notch. I can't say enough. Customer for life!

Experience with Carlos was excellent. He methodically diagnosed and resolved my water pressure issue. He was very knowledgeable and had a great attitude, very friendly. He provided up-front estimates and explained clearly his perspective on prioritization of suggested work. Highly recommended.

I am by nature a DIYer but I couldn’t get my kitchen sink unclogged by myself. I gave in and booked an appointment online, it was so convenient! They were quick to respond and worked with my schedule. The company even texted me a picture of the person I was to expect which made me feel more secure.

Peter D arrived quickly after being dispatched and made it very clear what to expect off the bat… it was nice to know exactly what we were paying for and how much it would be upfront. He was very professional and knowledgeable, he also gave us some great maintenance tips once the job was done!!! He even was able to take extra time to fix a leaky pipe that was discovered after unclogging the drain. Super nice and personable!
