My experience with this vet clinic and all their staff was incredible start to finish. I called in about my cat at 7:30am on a Sunday and from that initial call until checking out, the experience was fantastic. They were knowledgeable, fast, incredibly kind, and very affordable not only for providing urgent care on weekend but affordable in general. The space was clean, organized, comfortable, and well managed. The staff were so calm and experienced and they made a stressful experience feel manageable. From the reception, to their tech, and the vets - every person I spoke with was so wonderful. For reference, I went to Sunstone in May 2024 and would wholeheartedly recommend them if you need emergent vet care!

I am so grateful to Dr Tobin and the team at Sunstone. Our 13 1/2 year old Boston terrier has been having several issues and after weeks of our primary vet trying to help, it was time for a specialist. Dr Tobin is so patient, kind , very knowledgeable and a conservative approach with respect to his age. She’s amazing. The environment is clean, lovely and I am so grateful to have been referred to them. Highly recommend. 🩷

Dr. Su In my opinion is a miracle worker. We adopted our little guy Tucker back in October 2023 and shortly there after found out that not one, but both of his rear legs had been broken just below the knees at some point. One of them had healed to where he could use it really well the other had attempted to heal and re-fractured so when we got him, he had a broken leg. You wouldn’t have known it The way he got around, however his little leg needed to be addressed. We brought him in to the clinic for an appointment with Dr. Su And she advised us of what we couldn’t do and what might be best for his condition. We decided to go ahead and have her repair his leg. She did a tremendously Great job. It has now been about seven months since his surgery he is recovering really well. He is using his leg extremely good now and running about like he should without any pain. I would highly recommend for surgery on your own loved pet. If unfortunately, they need that. She is a fantastic doctor. She said all of our fears aside we knew exactly what to expect at each step of the process. I couldn’t really say enough good things about her and this clinic they all were so helpful. It was a great experience.

Everyone and everything about Sunstone Vet Specialists has been exceedingly wonderful. Dr Regina Tobin has been working with us to help our sweetie pie Labradoodle. Our dog loves coming in and adores the vet and vet techs. The front desk is staffed by the nicest people with wonderful people-and pet-skills. Scheduling was a breeze. Vet techs are really fantastic with the dogs and conduct very high level interviews prior to the vet coming in to do exam and further interview. Dr Regina Tobin is absolutely amazing! She seems determined to find the best solutions for our dog's chronic health conditions and so far the dietary and medication regimen she has recommended are helping a lot. This place and the people here are extremely bright, kind, and compassionate. We have great confidence in and appreciation for Sunstone Vet and Dr Tobin and her staff!

My first experience with Sunstone’s Emergency Services was very positive. Smokey, my two year old Shepherd mix was playing and put a deep cut in a front paw pad. From my initial phone call, to checking in, triage, surgery, and discharge, each person I interacted with was kind, knowledgeable, and very personable. I wish I could remember everyone’s names to list them here, but if you helped with Smokey’s care, thank you very much.

I cannot thank Sunstone Veterinary Clinic enough for the exceptional care they provided to my beloved dog, Cleo. The level of service exceeded what I typically receive at my own doctor's office.

Upon referral, I brought Cleo in to see Dr. Elliott and within minutes he identified a growth in the back of her throat. Dr. Elliott engaged in a candid, but necessary, conversation with me about the findings and the required course of action. Remarkably, within the hour, Cleo was on the operating table, undergoing the biopsy procedure in which they were able to remove the entire growth from the back of her throat.

I was truly grateful and impressed with the shift, professional and candid care provided. While the news wasn't easy to hear, they promptly addressed the issue, instilling confidence in their expertise and dedication.

I owe a debt of gratitude to Dr. Elliot and his team. Cleo is on the mend and though there is more ahead, she is progressing wonderfully.

Sunstone was a lifesaver for my pup. He had been having on-going, persistent digestive issues and was not eating regularly. Our regular vet was unable to help. With the care and treatment at Sunstone, he is back to normal. Dr Tobin was wonderful and all the staff I worked with was professional and caring.

I cannot say enough good things about this facility. Dr. Elliot is second to none. His expertise, bedside manner, and compassion made a very difficult situation more comfortable. It is because of this facility, and the entire team, that we got more time with our senior dog. He came to Sunstone very ill, and their expert care has extended his life and helped us process what's next. Every single interaction at this clinic has been amazing. From scheduling, to payment, office visits, and communication. I can't say enough good things about this clinic.

My poor one year old Chihuahua puppy got badly injured at her first visit ever to a dog sitter’s house, and ended up with a massive soft tissue damage. Daisy was able to see Dr. Su in less than a week after her injury and 6 days later, she had a grade 3 MPL surgery at the Sunstone Veterinary Specialists clinic. Dr. Su is an amazing veterinarian. She spent more than 30 minutes explaining Daisy’s pre-op, surgery and post-op treatments. Her staff are amazing as well. They were very caring, attentive and loving towards Daisy and it was obvious that she was in great hands and well cared for. I am thanking my shining star to find Dr. Sue and will recommend her to anyone who needs a fantastic DACVS specialist.

I have no solution to help my baby girl who’s 17.5 years old , struggling with so many health complications, . Sunstone and team is helping me get the answers and they work together as team through directly my primary veterinarian so we all are in the same page. They don’t give up to help my baby. The place with caring heart. It’s right here.

Caring, knowledgeable staff. Couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful experience when we had to make some very difficult decisions about our beloved pet. Dr. Josh Elliott was not only amazing with our dog, but he helped comfort our family. Gorgeous facility.

For me, seeing Dr. Elliott with my pup had come after a long path of trying to discover what is going on with my her and knowing that visiting Sunstone (and having many tests performed) might mean receiving difficult results. Dr Elliott and his team were kind, speedy, thorough, and earnest. It made a very tense appointment and wait for results a lot easier. I'm so grateful and would recommend Sunstone to anybody. Very thankfully, we got the best possible results, but for a grand old gal nearing the end of her life, if we need to head back to Sunstone, I won't hesitate. Thank you, Dr. Elliott!

Everyone I spoke with here, from the front desk to the tech to the veterinarian were so nice. This was our first time here and it was the most stress-free vet visit we have ever experienced. Everyone here was just awesome and they honestly went above and beyond to make sure my son's cat got the care she needed. They completely understood our reason for the visit and did an awesome job of focusing on that without requiring any unnecessary testing/expenses other than what we specifically needed that day. In all, this was a very good experience and we would absolutely recommend them and I honestly wish I could give more than 5 stars. Everyone there was just amazing.

Sunstone Veterinary Specialist was great from beggining to end. From detailed greeting letter, appointment reminders, and friendly staff. Dr Elliott and Nurse came out to get my dog. I really appreciate the way my dog was treated and cared for. The consult was great. The Dr took his time to explain everything while allowing me to ask questions. I especially appreciate that he answered my questions so that I can better understand any treatment options. I don't get to do that with my own surgeon. I usually feel rushed.

I have nothing but positive feelings about Sunstone. They have been so easy to work with and have always shown such care and compassion for my critter. Dr. Klaser has been a dream as well. They work hard for the benefit of their patients. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for specialty care for their pets.

Jack and I truly appreciate Sunstone Veterinary Specialists! Dr Rausch has been the cardiologist for our 9-year-old Lab, Bishop, since he was diagnosed with severe heart disease at 18 months of age. Dr Rausch and his team are beyond excellent! Bishop would not be with us today without the expertise and loving care of Dr Rausch. Recently, Bishop developed a gastrointestinal problem and was seen by Dr Elliott on short notice. Dr Elliott was very thorough, concise, and attentive. He explained Bishop's condition in great detail and responded to our questions. Dr Elliott suggested a treatment plan, taking our needs into consideration, and then phoned us and followed up with a timely email. Sunstone is an inviting and friendly state-of-the-art clinic that provides a warm welcome for people and their pets. Their waiting area is spacious and comfortable. They are located near the Hawthorne District, so we were able to walk to shops and get some lunch while Bishop was undergoing tests. It was a nice diversion at a time of stress and anxiety. Bishop started a new medication today and appears to be feeling somewhat better already. We are very pleased and grateful!!

I love taking my animals here; the staff are all friendly and caring, and how organized the office staff are. The two veterinarians and their assistants thatI've worked with are very knowledgeable, thoughtful and communicative. I never feel rushed; I feel like my animals get individualized and personal care. I like the shared decision making and follow-up. I appreciate the kindness and integrity of everybody there. Dr Tobin, with whom I've the most interaction, is an excellent clinician and so communicative and caring--I would trust her with any of my pets.
