Fred Meyer Pharmacy

I have only experienced long lines here in the 5 years I have been using this pharmacy if I went during peak hour but that's to be expected. The staff is pretty nice but they are not going to stand and talk to you because they got work to do.

When I saw the low score given for this Pharmacy, I felt I should give my far more positive review. I have been relying on Burlingame FM Pharmacy for just a few visits now since moving to this neighborhood. I have been impressed with the staff I’ve worked with so far. They’ve gone out of their ways to accommodate me with filling last-minute scripts when I’ve been pushed for time and rushed in just before closing time. I think they picked up on how bad I already felt about cutting it so close. But they could easily have been resentful and unpleasant. Not at all.
Apart from that, they have been organized and efficient each time I’ve gone in—overall, very helpful.

Though this pharmacy clearly isn’t for everyone, it works great for me. I take a lot of different meds, so I have to be here a LOT. Though they seem a little short staffed and the line is sometimes a little long, they’re pleasant and get everything right. I don’t expect meds to be ready immediately after a scrip drop-off, so I plan ahead to pick them up later or the next day (when I receive a “your medication is ready for pickup” text).
I know how stressful it must be there with such a high volume of, um, impatient patients, so they seem to respond well to those who exercise friendliness and patience (like most humans).

I have been to this pharmacy it is a VERY busy location and the staff there are doing the best they can to accommodate each and every person coming thru their lines. Instead of complaining on a review about the lack of a well staffed pharmacy maybe everyone should write to corporate headquarters and suggest that they train their new techs at a store that is slower and has the time to appropriately train new techs. Then maybe just maybe this store could keep up with the high demands of such a busy location. My experience was with a blonde girl named Janette that was very helpful and courteous and found ways to save me money for which I was very grateful. I feel for the employees at this branch that are so overworked and understaffed with knowledgeable staff that is... .

This pharmacy has made a complete 180 in the past two years or so. Used to be a mess with long wait times. But something has happened and this place is great. Staff are friendly and the pharmacists are very smart and spend the time necessary to teach you about your medications.

I had a booster at 5:45. I was already running late due to the bus and went to the incorrect Fred Meyer! I got to this Fred Meyer about 6:40 pm and they got me in for my booster even though they were busy and closing in 20 mins! I appreciated them so much! Plus they were so friendly and nobody acted irritated or upset with me! They had so much grace for me! Highly recommend!

I don't normally write reviews, but felt so great about an experience that I just had to share. Gwen was very helpful with securing a last minute refill of my prescription. Thank you to Gwen! It was genuinely very appreciated.

I use this pharmacy often. They are usually busy but everyone I’ve interacted with has been kind and helpful. They also have a drive up pharmacy option from which you can get your Rx faster.

The pharmacy is super busy. Five stars for my prescheduled flu shot appointment that was on time and done with a smile!

The pharmacist was very kind and comforted me about my upcoming procedure that my medication was for. Very personable and I left feeling a lot better about it.

I love that they changed their hours to 9 am to 7 pm on the weekdays. Those pharmacists and techs work so hard.

Don’t believe the 1 stars. The place is fine. It’s a pharmacy.

They've always been wonderful and helpful! Despite the bad reviews I saw, they were the closest pharmacy to me so I gave it a shot. They've been helpful and accommodating, helping me get my prescription on time (even at another pharmacy when I needed it sooner). They are VERY understaffed, as all pharmacies are right now. Please be patient and try to prepare for a bit of wait, I've only ever seen them doing their best!

I think they've improved from their negative criticisms. But will change my rating if it gets bad again. All the staff are very friendly from my interactions.
