Kendra's River Inn Food & Lodging

Extremely good service. The staff treats you like old friends. The food was amazing. We had never had steamed clams and we are so glad they encouraged us to try. My husband had the fish and chips while I had the salmon caesar salad. We were both members of the clean plate club. Every bite was delectable. A tantalizing experience for our taste buds. We never order dessert but we did. My husband had a root beer float. The biggest we have ever seen. He devoured it. I had the carrot cake which I took 2 bites of and had to stop because I was so full. They gave me a to go box and I ate it first thing the next morning. We have traveled to 48 states and Kendras cooking and hospitality is that of a 5 star resort. Best of the best. Highly recommend!

Loved my stay at Kendra's! She treated me like family from the moment I walked in the door. Decor is casual and warm without being pretentious, and my room was well-appointed and very clean. Large balcony, private bathroom, nice view of river. Kendra executes on the food as well as she does on hospitality. The rumors are true: her breakfasts for inn guests are delicious! Was quite impressed when she presented me with a colossal plate of eggs Benedict with potatoes and fresh fruit. Great selection of teas in addition to coffee and juice in the AM. My scampi dinner was delightful as well with a generous portion of prawns cooked to perfection and crisp-tender broccolini with garlic bread. All in all, I'd be happy to stay or dine with Kendra again.

Kendra's River Inn was fabulous! I had the Hazelnut Crusted Halibut and my friend had the Halibut Fish and Chips. Both were wonderful. We shared a bowl of chowder, and we both give it high marks for being one of the best chowders on the Oregon Coast. The garden salad that accompanied my meal was artfully assembled - very pretty to look at, interesting and delicious as well. It was a perfect summer late afternoon, so we choose to eat on the outside covered deck. The staff was very attentive, and the atmosphere perfect to catch up with an old friend over a delicious meal.

Where do I even begin? This spot is the most inviting, cozy spot on the West Shore. Kendra and her staff are friendly, the rooms are impeccable. The service is spot on, the views glorious, the food ... unmatched. The drinks are amazing and the price is unbeatable. There is a winery across the road and the beautiful coastline just a bit further. Call for a reservation because this place fills up fast and trust me, you do NOT want to miss a Kendra's River Inn experience!!

Wonderful food. I had a cheeseburger and the burger, fries, and sauce were amazing. It looked a bit deserted at first but we were assured once the food came out. Servers were super nice. Would reccomend if you're visiting for a weekend at rockaway or Astoria.

Awesome food and service with a variety of quality food. Spent our 2nd anniversary dinner there. Don't let this place be a best kept secret - tell your friends and take them here!!

Kendra has a great restaurant, awesome food, and the rooms she has for her B&B are wonderful, clean, cozy and very comfortable. Great experience and will definitely be back.
