We are grateful for our care teams at Nehalem Bay Health Center. Both my toddler and myself have our own separate primary care teams that we have regular visits with. I feel genuinely cared for and supported. My health and quality of life has been improving since my first visit. From naturopathy, accupuncture, behavioral health, primary care to pharmacy, we have what we need in one place. I so look forward to the growth and expansion of services to come with the new clinic build in the works. Dental care will be wonderful! Thank you thank you!

I think it’s very unfair for anyone to write such aggressive vitriolic comments about the staff. I see Caitlin Simons & she is extremely thorough & detailed & knowledgeable. In fact she is the only medical practitioner in the last 15 years that has addressed my thyroid health correctly. The front line staff are always pleasant & kind even though I’m sure they have to address passive aggressive folk. I’m completely grateful for all they do in our community & as they continue to grow, we will grow also as a healthy community. Thanks to all staff there!

I became a new patient earlier this year (2022) and I've only ever had a pleasant experience here. The office staff and the pharmacy staff are also kind and helpful. I see Caitlin Simons, she truly listens to my concerns and doesn't make me feel rushed or an inconvenience. She is well educated and great at sleuthing out the illnesses. She is also great at responding to messages in MyChart.

We just established care with Dr. Eli Andersen, ND. We were blown away by the amount of time he spent with my wife and I. We recently moved back to Oregon, and we’re at that age where we have some issues that need consideration and care. We have NEVER had any medical professional take the time to listen and work through options. In this moment of COVID with so much stress about health, it is a huge relief to have found someone like Dr. Andersen.

I haven't been able to make an appointment here because they are overbooked, however, I would like to commend their efforts for a better life for people with chronic conditions in the face of a changing nation. Many clinics, most clinics, will not even even see you any more if you have chronic pain. i have personally discovered this here on the cosr during my 11 year struggle. In fact in order to be seen locally at any clinic in Lincoln county you have to fill out paper work BEFORE any one sees you that says you are NOT there because you are in pain. BEFORE any doc checks you you have to sign a document that says you aren't there because of pain or they WILL NOT TAKE YOU! In a country with a for profit medical system under the ver watchfull eye of the government they are afraid to even look at you. In a for profit medical system most of us are un or under insured and ONLY seek medical treatment if we are so much pain we can't take it. What do you do then? I tried to take a more holistic approach because of chronic pain due to what basically amounts to a gentic mutation from my fathers drastic exposure to Agent Orange, I reduced my over all intake of pain medicines by half and use medical marical marijuana for seizures (no meds and no seizures for over a year) pallindromic arthritis, Lupus, and gatstroparesis (my stomach has been patially paralysed since birth). I thought this would be a good thing. Last month I had to sign a paper (new one) that says after 13 years of treatment with no problems that I would absolutely use no marijuana (though I am state liscenced and have multiple serious qualifying conditions) or I would not be seen at any clinic or hospital period even for my blood presssure pills. One month later I am back on central nervous system depressants to stop me from puking every hour (as I did for 3 years and about a week a month for 40 years), I have migranes from the medication, I can't eat solid food, my blood pressure is skyrocketing again because of my pain and nausea, i can't sleep which is a seizue trigger for me and I cannot take any NSAID or antiinflamatory meds because when I do I bleed in my stomach (been operated on 2x for stomach bleeding and cauterized 2x allready from the harmfull antiinflamatory meds and my stomach issues).I rejected shooting a cancer drug into my stomach at home, which can cause cancer (yup a drug for it that causes it) infections (had MRSA 3x with immunosuppressors, no thanks) and liver failure. What do I do? Where do I go? I can't drive, a good friend of mine drove for almost 30 yrs with seizures and then had one driving out of the blue and crashed killing himself and others. Out of network clinics are more than 100 miles away. I think every single medical condition should be looked at as a whole unique issue, because they are and standardized care is the bastard child of insurance agencies and a fearful controlling government. I don't see how this all doesn't volate the oath my doc took when he was liscenced. FIRST DO NO HARM. Kudos for your courage and bravery, please if you do see this clinic praise them for the good they do. By the way EVERY month my doc visit is $280 just to say I feel the same, anything else is extra. Talk about money grubers.

I have only used the pharmacy, but I have found them to be friendly, efficient and helpful at the Rinehart Clinic.

In the recent month there has been some changes going through the clinic with Dr. Rinehart having retired. Staff seem stretched thin and really out of their element. Few staff members are what you would call senior staff. A great spot for general health checks. I do hope something changes as its been a community asset for many years.

So, I called Rinehart clinic because they are the first to come up in my providence insurance account. I was told "If you have pain or think you might need narcotics, we are not accepting new patients" Basically, If no pain now or in my future, they will accept new patients. Otherwise, not accepting. All I was trying to do was to set up a primary care doctor and I was being rudely screened as to what my needs may or may not be to determine whether or not I would be accepted as a new patient.

now that doc has retired and icky dr. Ludy is the only dr, just no. Milar is gone, it's not the compassionate place it once was. Dr. Rinehart was one of a kind. I never went there for pain, but I wonder how all the people who depended on that program are doing now, how they are coping with such a change.
if you have OHP, I'd try Dr. Meier or Dr. Mitchell. They are kind and could point you in the right direction...maybe?

The Rinehart Clinic used to be awesome. Now that Dr. Rinehart retired, its turned into an uncaring insensitive unethical ineffective ridiculous circus. The new staff are bumbling idiots who haven't a clue..especially Dr. Ludy. BTW Dr. Ludy had a drug problem as evidenced by looking him up on Google. Dr. Ludy acts as if all patients are drug addicts, even if you are a really sick stage 4 patient. If you are seeking care, you won't find it at the Rinehart Clinic.
