Cottage On the Pond

I loved the privacy of the cottage although there are neighbors, given that it is only 8 blocks from downtown Rockaway and the beach, the cottage looks over a beautiful pond and felt like a very private getaway. I liked not having wifi because it kept me off of my phone and technology all of the time to spend more time with my friends. The house is super cozy and the pond just tops it off. Can't say that I had any problems like the ones I read about in other reviews. Reasonably priced for the size compared to other places in Rockaway.

Beautiful place, feels new and vintage at the same time. Fun loft area and perfect deck with hot tub. Will definitely stay again. 😎

What a BEAUTIFUL treasure! Well kept, I was very happy with how clean it was, especially during these times! Absolutely worth it, a MUST do again!!

Awesome getaway cottage. It's closer to neighbors than the pics indicate, but still plenty of privacy.

Great place for a romantic escape

Cute cottage but, had a list of things that did not work or needed fixed: heater in downstairs bedroom did not work, fireplace did not work, coffee carafe did not go to the actual coffeemaker so it proceeded to overflow and no papertowels to clean it up. Not a very private place either; the hot tub has a view of the neighbors back porch and another neighbors front door and also there are sheer curtains throughout the house! The layout of the house was cute but, kind of pricey for what you don't get (no wifi or cable).
