We happened to be driving by and decided to stop and get dinner and the food was amazing!!!
They give very large portions at a very fair rate. The service is good and the place is clean.
This is a great comfort food place. Deserts looked great we just had no room to try them.

The pizza 🍕 has to be the best on the coast. I was pleasantly surprised at the thin crust, homemade sauce and toppings all the way to the edge. I can't think of a better place on the coast. The service sucked waited quite a while for a refill and it wasn't too busy.

The service was excellent! The food was good, we had a steak, oyster basket, and steak fingers. The steak fingers, we probably wouldn't order again they lacked flavor. The fries were wonderful they are fresh if you get regular, but you can also have sweet potato, tots, crinkle cut or onion rings 🥰 love the options. If you're a salt & pepper shaker collector then there is a surprise small collection of new and old fun shakers!

Food looks like pretty standard diner fare, but everything tasted really, really fantastic. The beef seems to be grilled really well too.

They even cooked my steak right! Though you might ask them to out a bit more salt on the steak before grilling, as I felt mine was underseasoned (I usually think my steak is underseasoned at restaurants).

The food was great, large portions. This is probably the first restaurant I have never had to ask for extra butter for my toast. Definitely glad I didn’t read all the Karen negative reviews. We will definitely make this a stop when we come through. Our waitress Tira was great.

Honest-to-goodness home cooking! Hearty portions and nicely cooked. Wait staff were super friendly. We added the fresh oysters to our meal and they were delicious!

The customer service was excellent! We had a drink and gambled while waiting for our to go order. Food came out faster than expected. My buddy got the western fern burger with fries. The burger was great but the fries got soggy by the time we got home. That happens sometimes with take out so no big deal. I got the grilled chicken salad and it was perfect except for the broccoli could have been cut into smaller chunks. I was very happy with everything!

After reading the reviews from all the negative Karen’s..I’m happy to post a great review. Fantastic to find a Bloody Mary at 8am which was topped with olives and pickled asparagus. Especially on a Tuesday morning. I ordered the Tillamook Cheese omelette and large side of bacon. So much food for very descent price. Coffee was hot and great local made coffee. The bacon was large and perfectly cooked. Omelette was loaded with lots of cheese. My husband had the Veggie Omelette and added jalapeños which was also great. Large salt and pepper collection. Charming rustic ambiance and was clean. Restroom toilet seat in women’s needs repaired, but hey I don’t expect perfect. Server was friendly and attentive. Food came quickly. Will definitely be back.

Every time we stop in Tillamook we stop here for breakfast, The staff are always kind and the food is always good‼🤭

The Veggie Omelet was awesome. A big plate for a decent price. Much less, better food and service than if we had gone to Denny's down the street. Our favorite place to eat in Tillamook.

Great food at Great prices. Unfortunately like everywhere else they are short staffed and deal with large wait times. Food is worth the wait and we will be back 😁

Can't beat a good little diner that offers just enough. Great menu spread, delicious. Good staff, not to long of a wait. Only suggestion.. warm the marinara. We got ice cold marinara for the mozzarella sticks - which was surprising. But, overall - GREAT restaurant. Will definitely be back!! Yum!!

The Fern has excellent food with lots of menu choices. The wait staff are the best; excellent service. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Great place to meet up with tillamook locals. Highly recommend eating here.

Great food. Good service. I dont recomend the sweet potato tots. The regular ate better. The pizza is great! Dont get the meat lovers unless you want LOTS OF MEAT!

This is a very good restaurant. Me and my family were looking for a place to eat after visiting the Tillamook cheese factory because the line for food there was too long, so we came to the Fern and it was the right decision. The atmosphere and staff are both very welcoming, our waters stayed refilled, and the food came out relatively quickly and it was delicious. I definitely recommended coming to eat here, especially after visiting the Tillamook cheese factory, lol. The menu is very extensive, I personally got the bacon blue cheese burger with waffle fries, the burger was awesome and the waffle fries were perfect, if you’re going to choose a side, get their waffle fries!
