Surfside Resort

My family and I have been coming here for years. Friendly staff, lovely beach and a heated pool. The rooms are good, a little out dated but they’re working on it. We never have any issues when we stay here. We always have a great time and enjoy the long walks on the sand with the dog.

Great value for the location. We walked in an evening to book the room. Staff is friendly, room ate huge with little kitchen in it. Perfect if you have a family. Beach is a couple of steps away from the room if you don't book beach view room.

Great hotel right on the beach. Watch the waves on Manhatten Beach right from your patio and room. Family room has a full kitchen with stove and oven, fireplace, comfortable beds, couch and table. Was a great value and a super setup with a one bedroom and second bed in the living room. A short drive into town which has everything one needs, including a fun rock shop and rock garden. Had a great stay and the staff was really lovely and helpful with suggestions of unsolicited yet much appreciated rockhounding stops along the coast. Would 100% stay here again!

The view us AWESOME! Staff sweet courteous and conscientious..pool was fun beach access easy and clean comfy rooms...can't wait to visit again a TRUE destination!

This place was a very pleasant experience. The room was nice and the location was wonderful. I would definitely come back again.

Very nice, spacious rooms! I like the separate bedroom, with the privacy door. The leather couch in the living room was comfortable. There was a full bathroom and a half bath, in our room as well. There is a long ramp for mobility impaired people, to get to the first floor of the handicapped accessible units. Wonderful place to spend our vacation time!

Check-in was easy and super friendly. The family suite with the separate bedroom was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable, not fabulous but not terrible. The ocean views from the deck were the bomb. The fireplace was a nice, warm, welcome to a long brisk early morning walk on the beach and made for a romantic evening sitting by the fire watching the waves roll in. Having a kitchen available was fabulous for cooking breakfast in the mornings. The shower was great, lots of hot water, good pressure. There was also a heated indoor pool. We did not use it but it looked clean and it was very warm. Will definitely return!

Found this by accident and am very happy I did.

The rooms may not be the Waldorf Astoria but they are certainly comfortable, clean and spacious. I had an ocean view condo (suite?) and it was stellar.

Separated bed room(s) full kitchen and balcony.

The fireplace was a definite bonus.

The only thing that would make this place better than the 5 stars I’m giving it, is if they had beach chairs to check out.

This hotel was just right for us. The room was not fancy but it was very clean. The staff was friendly and it was easy to book the room and check in and out. They have their own beach access with a little foot shower to wash off the sand. It was a great place to stay with a reasonable price. I would definitely come back here!

Loved this place! We had wonderful view from our balcony and out the sliding glass door, fireplace, comfortable and clean room with kitchen with everything needed for meal prep. Friendly staff and pet friendly. Very convenient location. Will be the first place we call when we return to the Oregon coast.

Great value. Pet friendly. Room 117 has an ocean view. Professional staff. Clean and tidy rooms.

Beautiful location, less crowded and beach at stone's throw away distance.
Rooms are huge and has kitchenette.

This is a very nice high-end resort. We stayed in room 201A, a corner suite with a beach facing balcony. It had all the amenities, stove, fridge, dishwasher, and a fireplace. It smells a bit off to me, but leaving the door open to the balcony let out the smell and let the beach smell in. Overall, we were pleased with our stay.

Great place if you want a balcony overlooking the breakers! It had a decent kitchenette, gas fireplace and nice firm queen bed, and they allow pets! Excellent price ($180/night, including pet fee), nice people, well kept-up property. And we got a bird's eye view of a dad and his boys making a huge sand castle - it was great!

Renovated rooms, clean, big and roomy. Good size kitchen and a private bedroom from the main room. Georgeous floor to ceiling ocean views with a big deck. They have a good size heated pool and ocean side grassy area with benches to have a snack. Beach is literally a quick walk from your room, its right there! I've been coming here for years and never see any other places for miles that come close to the room space, price and view of the ocean. Cable TV and internet work well. Staff are very friendly and helped us with an accomadation request. Can't wait to visit again especially because they allow our furbaby to be apart of our vacation!

BANG. FOR. YOUR. BUCK. Quiet grounds (aside from the Pacific waves), spacious apartment-style rooms were a HUGE benefit for early-risers like me. Pool was heated and well-kept. Will absolutely be back anytime I’m in Rockaway.
Apartment-style rooms were incredible. Quaint, spacious, and perfect for a chilly blustery day. I can’t imagine how much better this place would be in summer.

This is such a fantastic place. We stumbled on this this after leaving a terrible place. I can't say enough about how wonderful it is here.
