Hillsboro Pharmacy

I have reviewed the Hillsboro Pharmacy before with 5 Stars but let me do it again! The ambiance, the food, the setting, the historic feel, the Fountain seating, and all of it is just way to great! But all of that falls short of the great people who work there. All of the Pharmacy crew are way too great and there is no way it would ever be the same without them! I take clients and my family and friends! Founded in 1873 the Hillsboro Pharmacy is that little part of Old HIllsboro that everyone needs to see and know about! This is way to good folks so go try it- but sit and just relax and take it in. This is not a place to rush in and out of. Go for the experience! I will go back again, and again, and again..... you get it!

Hillsboro's best kept secret little breakfast place. Prepare to get stuffed.. super affordable and friendly staff. Everything is authentic and unique. Be ready to get a kick out of the wall decorations. Food looked so good I forgot to take pictures :)

Roberta ( Bert) And Kathy have been at this place for many, many years. They know their jobs well. The new owner, Jasmine is great. The others who work there are friendly and competent. Can't wait until they are back on Main street. In their old spot .

Best cheeseburger in the state!! With the fun of comfy fountain seating. Plus table and chairs too. I know everything is delicious but I can not get off my fav. Wonderful people and pharmacy too.

I went there today for my birthday lunch because I read that they got rated one of the best places for a milkshake in Portland. My husband and I have lived here in Hillsboro for almost two years and thought we’d give it a try! Delish ! Also got the burgers 🍔 and were great too! Just make sure you check there hours because some items they use the grill with (like the burgers are only from 11-2pm). Great people and place! Will definitely be back! And it’s literally down the street!

Oh such a little secret on main street! We come in for cheese burgers and shakes, my boys just love sitting at the countertop watching things happen. It's a classic American menu, nothing fancy and just what you need. Best variety of milk shakes and ice cream in the area. Friendly service, and fun knickknacks.

I love this old fashioned soda fountain style pharmacy. Lots of cute things to buy, old school pharmacy, cards, trinkets, lots of gift ideas and a whole lot more. Don't miss going in for a shake or malt when visiting downtown Hillsboro. By the way, excellent hamburgers also!

I work downtown and walk here a lot. My kids love the sandwiches and milkshakes. I love Kathy and the fact that she carries obscure things I need like measuring spoons with smidge and pinch measurements (1/32 and 1/16). The pharmacist, Doug, is always friendly and knowledgeable when I've rushed over for benadryl for an allergic reaction or filling my child's prescription. Highly recommend this restaurant/store/pharmacy! ♡

Love this place, it's a drive back to my childhood memories. Small dinner food, great milkshakes, and that old feeling of time spent with grandma. She would get her order from the pharmacy and we would get a rootbeer ice cream treat as prescription was filled. If you live in the area please swing in and shop local.

Milk Shakes and Italian Sodas are hand made. Great service. Food is made to order. Old time feel. I really liked this place. Great place to take the family at a good price.

This is a pharmacy with a lunch counter that's been in business since 1873. I came because I was looking for a soda jerk and this fits the bill. The folk here are nice and they can make the things you usually expect from a soda fountain. I got the impression that they aren't experts in soda jerkery and were kinda figuring it out as they went. Doesn't mean the icy confections weren't tasty. I will be back.

The milkshakes are the absolute best! Kathy is always welcoming and helpful.
