Love this little store. The man & his son who own the place are so nice! The father even makes sure to order the little wine bottles I like (moscato). I’ve lived in the neighborhood for years & I go here at least 2x a week.

Two very nice people run the store. Father and son Shak. The store is named after his son. Great selection of drinks from Red Bull to Nantucket.

I was lost and without my phone or wallet. They took the time to figure out directions for me for the fastest way to get home, and drew me a detailed map - it was so kind and I never would have figured it out on my own. Really nice people. The inventory is about like most neighborhood markets.

One time I was get a lot of problems in Beaverton, and Asian family helped me) I am really want to say about everybody) I was have a no English, no my iPhone, no money this time - thank you so much) maybe you remember me I don’t know)) I am from Ukraine

This Mini Mart has always been here since I can remember it's like a landmark nowadays. Going inside Bring back lots of memories when my Grandma used to take me In there.

I have always enjoyed visiting this store. The staff have Always been welcoming and helpful and they have a good variety of inventory as well as reasonable prices. However, the reason I am rating Hillsboro Mini Mart at only 3 stars today is because the owner threatened to ban me just for asking if I could possibly return an item! His excuse was that “this is a convenience store” but convenient for who?! I could be wrong but I assumed that convenience stores are convenient for the customers. I’ve done a lot of business here so I told him just to forget it and Left. I was basically told that once you leave the store the items purchased CANNOT be returned. This experience was very disappointing.

the only problem I saw with the story is they declined a gentleman's EBT they do not accept EBT. and it's a very crowded store inside!

This business is horrible. I went there on 10/31/2012 to buy some air freshner for my apartment in Beaverton where I live. I went there because that day our support group which is two blocks away had a Halloween party. The oriental lady that works at the counter and feel she is owner of the store is horrible as well. Her attitude is bad and horrible. They per item are charging at least $4 more. I had to buy a can of air freshner since I have a cat and asked her if there was any other air freshner in the back that was cheaper than $6.99 a can and she stood there and did NOTHING and said NOTHING. She looked at me like I caused my own disability. I am disabled from a real bad car wreck in 2006 and am on foot using a walker and she could of cared less about my business. All they want it money money money and are greedy. I went to Winco which is on Oak Street the next day and the can of Lysol that I bought was $2.49 and this store charged $6.99. This past year I have gone there 5 times to get various items because the unemployment support group that I go to is 2 blocks away and I go to this store to get exercise. I have asked for help all of these times and the oriental lady does NOTHING and stands there. She has a bad attitude and does not appreciate your business especially if you are poor and disabled. I hate you Mini Mart and know I am not the only one that has been through this because there are alot of houses around that area of Hillsboro. I do not care how long this business has been there but my business should be appreciated and I should not be charged per item at least $4.00 more. I know they are at least this high on almost everything you buy there. If I were you I would never ever ever ever never ever ever ever ever never ever ever go to this store. They could care less about you and your business and when you ask for anything will treat you like dirt and talk to you like you are dirt. They are greedy bastards that own this store and work here and do not appreciate you or your business. I will tell 200 people this next year in 2013 around there how bad I was treated on 10/31/2012. Greed has destroyed the US and has for years. This store is nothing but a front for crime and negativity in the Hillsboro area because of their attitude and the way they treat the public. I hate your guts Mini Mart. You are higher than any business in Hillsboro and should not be. I am going to Grocery Outlet or Winco from now on because they care about my business and just do not treat you like garbage and blame you for something you did not do.
