My munchy go-to place!!! I do have to add though that the older guy that works afternoons needs a refresher course on basic money counting and customer service skills.

The Plaid Pantry has plenty of nice snacks and drinks to grab on the go, fast and easy. It's located right next to a National Pride Self-Serve Car Wash and across the street from Shute Park - Hillsboro Library. Service was not that Gray. The person working the counter was a little rude. He was talking to other people and not paying attention to the line that was forming. Once I Got up to the counter he just scanned the items, and didn't even tell me how much the total was. And just assumed that was paying With a debit card and I didn't even get my receipt at the end or ask if I wanted it.

This location is convenient closer in my neighborhood and it's ok. Some staff is nice and some aren't.

I honestly don't understand why most PP employees seem to be absolutely miserable. I can't say I'm altogether surprised at this, since close to 90% of the clientele they have to deal with are usually rude and complete human trash. For God's sake - give these cashiers some bonuses or some kind of incentive that helps them feel like what they're doing is worth their time & energy. It's been my store of choice for years now, but I'm beginning to dread going in there lately due the thick, bad energy that's chokes the atmosphere. The employees at this specific location are by far the most polite in the entire metro area, but it's also painfully obvious that they aren't being treated very well.
