Tuality Physicians

I have been a patient at Tuality Physician for over 8 years and it has been a great patient experience. The office staff is very helpful and always willing to work me into the busy schedule. Since the office opened the Urgent Care, I have a second option, when I need to get in for a quick check-up when sick. The new office location is great and convenient. Most importantly, Dr. Hoffman has a great bedside manner, and always listens! I highly recommend!

I came to the clinic once at their old location for an urgent care situation, and they've been my primary care office for years since! I moved and have been in downtown Portland for 3 years now and still take the Max to see these folks. I've never felt anything but listened to (from everyone from phone questions to front desk interactions to providers to the amazing lady who does the blood draws) and have never had any concerns about my quality of care. I just found out that they'll no longer be on my insurance, and honestly, even with the 2-hour round trip, I'm still upset about it!

Been seeing Dr. Hoffman for about 7 years. He is great about listening and works hard to solve your health issues. He's straight forward, yet polite and caring. My only criticism is that having to wait in the exam room is very common. However, because Dr. Hoffman has been so good to me, I honestly believe it's worth the wait to see someone who really cares.

I have been seeing Dr Hoffman and his team for seven years now and I would highly recommend. Dr Hoffman is a very patient and caring person. At times the wait seems long, but it's because he spends as much time as each patient needs. I walk away from each appointment feeling listened to and cared about by him and his staff. I have been seeing Dr. Seitz for chiropractic care. I have chronic pain in my joints, hips, and lower back. Sometimes after an adjustment it hurts for a day or so, but then I feel better. Dr. Seitz was able to recommend a good brand of natural curcumin that uses phytosome Meriva for natural pain. It is better than the brand I have. Dr. Seitz has an assistant who showed me some exercises and I have picked up the right ball to do them for only $8 at Walmart. I see Dr. Seitz again this week. I am happy to be able to see him. I recently saw Dr. Cristin Rettler for a bug that bit me 8 times and a rash I got from a supposedly natural deoderant. I was allergic to something in the deoderant. We decided not to do steroids. I had already begun to heal the wounds (burn marks) with aloe vera and vitamin E. I have contact dermatitis under my arms. I have a natural deoderant now that is much better but i have to put a barrier of vaseline on before using it. When I am in the cold I have no problems, but any type of deoderant now, even the new one starts burning my underarms when it is hot outside. I just have to wear the vaseline barrier. Dr. Rettler is good to talk to. When I used to go to the doctor we would talk about my whole general health. Now it seems that they want to talk about only one thing at a time, but I am stubborn. I get my questions answered without trying to taking too much time. I was completely disabled for two years and went to PSU during that time before a major cervical surgery last year. I went back to work for the first time in 1 year and 8 months. Things did not go as well as I planned. They were not happy with my Chiropractic visits or that I have disabilities. I was upset. The assignment ended. I was replaced by a Spanish speaking worker and because I did not get along with one person there I was not allowed to stay even though they have work. My agency said that they ran out of budget, they have offerred me other work, but it is too far away. I am seeing a therapist and she says I am not to take such a stressful job again. The pay was good but I sufferred with a nasty person the whole time and a boss that lied to me. I have PTSD and I was scared because they were going to let a man threatening to commit suicide into the building without security or without searching him. I am going to see a psychologist. I am diagnosed with PTSD and Bi-Polar 2. There are certain jobs I just can't take. When people yell at me or I feel like I am in danger I have terrible panic attacks. I was able to talk about this with Dr. Rettler. I saw my clinician about it too. I feel like a psychiatrist is appropriate now that my mental health and my chronic pain is interfering with me keeping a job. I was offerred 3 jobs, but I do not drive and I told them I cannot spend 4 hours of my day traveling to and from work. I consider myself still disabled because it was very hard to work and do all of the other things like cooking and cleaning. I have medicines for pain, night time ptsd nightmares, and panic attacks. I am finally able to sleep at night without night time phobia. I am having trouble understanding how people can be so unprofessional at work. I was harrassed at my desk for something that was not my fault. The two people involved just sat there and let this lady talk loudly at me for 5 minutes. It was rediculous! Then the person training me was angry because she was told to do her job and let myself and the other office specialist handle the customers and forms. She just could not let go. In the past someone she trained ruined a lot of things for her. I understand her being cautious. I have PTSD and Bi-Polar 2. I'm not retarded. She kept harrassing me. I am better off not returning to that type of job environment. I am glad Dr. Rettler could listen to me. I also got to keep my insurance. I reported that I had worked, but they told me I am not up for review for taking me off of medicaid till November 14th. I really like Tuality Physicians. Thank you for your help.

It's about as good of an experience as you can expect to get from a doctor's office. Given the choice of a day lounging on a Caribbean beach or a visit to Tuality Physicians, I'd have to go with the beach. :)

That being said, the staff is friendly, professional, and helpful. My primary care physician is Dr. Borman and she feels like a family member. I know she truly cares about my well-being and it shows. She has a comprehension of issues that you would expect only a specialist to know - for instance, I thought I had a pulled muscle but she diagnosed a pinched nerve from a herniated disc, isolated the area on the spine (C6/C7) and got the referral for the MRI on the spot. She's incredible.

The support staff are always smiling and willing to help. I just got off the phone with a receptionist after losing my prescription paperwork (for the 3rd time, embarrassingly) and asked if they would just fax it for me to the pharmacy, which they did.

Great place. I'm lucky to have Dr. Borman and her staff watching out for my well-being.

I have been looking for a primary care Dr and so glad that I found this clinic because Dr Mccaffrey is fantastic! From the staff at the front to the medical assistant to him has been nothing but wonderful.
