Getaway Oceanfront Lodging

I love this place! Myself and my GF came here with our friends. Quaint little 2 bedroom cottage, with full kitchen, patio and barbecue, complete with dishes, board games and extras! A really nice "sea shanty" kinda vibe, right on the ocean, with an amazing veiw of twin rocks and its arch! Sik

We had a great stay in this spot. Our particular unit even was located on the end of the building, so we had a ton of privacy. Plus a (partially obstructed but) gorgeous view of the beach! The kitchen is fully stocked with all the tools we needed to prep our meals. Only two issues the whole time: the outlet in the bathroom doesn’t work (so the hair dryer was useless) and the wifi didn’t work with Apple devices. I called Vacasa support about the issue but the rep didn’t even submit a ticket and just blamed it on my devices. While she wasn’t wrong, it is in fact a technical issue I’ve run into before, but not without technical knowledge (of which I have very little). My conversation with her felt patronizing and was not a great way to start the trip. However, this place is great even without wifi, so it all worked out in the end!

It was really nice and the rooms were clean. it just rained too much.

We've been coming here for 3 years stayed in 4 different apartments. We absolutely love the Getaway! Never had an issue. The kitchens are decently stocked. The views and beach access are great too and if you're there when it's raining the Wi-Fi coverage is good too.

This humble lodging was our savior from a camping trip ruined by rain. We were continually impressed with the cleanliness, attention to detail, and cute decor. The room - and I say room, but it was closer to a condo or large suite - came with a fully stocked kitchen, a chest full of board games, and a large selection of books and DVDs. The proximity to the beach was awesome as well. We're already looking forward to coming back.

we chose to stay here for our honeymoon in Sept 2017 because I am like a little girl when you get me to the ocean. And with room 10 having a full view... I am in complete heaven. Room 11 would be just as amazing with complete & full view, but we haven't needed a 2 bedroom. We plan on going with our 2 adult daughters & granddaughter sometime, & when we do, room 11 will be perfect! The rooms are very clean. Full kitchens with everything you could need. My home away from home! Very friendly staff! If you can, give this place a stay. :)

Went on a family vacation. They had a rule about not cooking seafood inside so we used the BBQ outside and everything turned out AMAZING! Accomodations here are top notch and right on the beach. Bonus points for making us BBQ which i had never done with seafood before

It was a beautiful view of the ocean with beach access, nice and quiet and dog friendly.

SUCH a beautiful place and super reasonably priced! The beach is RIGHT there, it's in a very quaint little mountain/beach town, and the shore really is footsteps from your door. The Loch Ness rock thing is right outside, and the stars are AMAZING- grocery store and restaurant (and coffee in the morning) within walking distance - the property manager Carolyn is AMAZING and a total sweetheart. Will be back, many times!

Love it here, went with my family and had a blast. There was amazing service and the rooms were clean and organized. I would definitely recommend coming here.

We stayed in unit 14 and it was an awesome find. The suite was clean and homey, the management was friendly, and the price was amazing. The building is a little older, but it added to the charm.

It's been a while since I've been up to the northern Oregon coast but I've stayed at the Getaway at Rockaway on three different occasions and loved it every time!

The managers are nice people as well as houskeepers. We stay here to get away and relax.Great family atmosphere.We enjoy the hospitality and kind people .We appreciate a quiet pet friendly family orientated place to go that is also very reasonable in price.

I've stayed a few times over the years and it's my favorite place to stay when on the Northern Oregon coast!

We stayed one night in unit 6 and 2 nights in unit 7. Great stay and friendly staff. Richard and Carolyn were very helpful and accomodating! I can't wait to stay here again!

Our favorite place to stay at Rockaway Beach. Dogs are welcome, full kitchen, friendly staff, easy access to the beach, oceanfront view. Very reasonably priced.

Don't stress about packing cooking spices or sand toys but bring some caffeinated coffee. Everything else is done for you and if your lucky you'll get to see some whale spouts right from your room.

We love this place. We stay here because it is cozy, quiet and the owners and management are easy to get along with.
