This is, hands down, the best vacation rental agency in Manzanita. All of the homes are beautifully decorated with spectacular views and all the amenities you could ask for while vacationing on the Oregon Coast. The owners and staff are warm and friendly and go out of their way to make sure your stay is the best possible. Kudos to the cleaning crew who did an excellent job! Two thumbs up!

We hosted a family reunion with 40+ guests and stayed at both The Historic Reed House and The Lodge. It was a simply incredible, for many reasons: the sizes of the bedrooms, quality of the bed(s), functionality of the kitchen(s) location to the beach, views from the porches, the professionalism & kindness of the owner to name a few. We also thought the style / decor was exquisite. A perfect combination of rustic history and tasteful design. We will return 100% Thank you Houses of Manzanita!

We have stayed in Kim’s amazing houses at manzanita beach on four occasions over the last several years. I can’t tell you how wonderful these properties are, I always feel deeply relaxed after each stay, I have also appreciated Kim’s kindness and flexibility in accommodating our changing needs!!! Cannot say enough good things, though part of me wants to keep these homes and this place a secret!!!

If you are looking for a beach home to rent for your vacation to Manzanita Beach look no further than this adorable cottage. Being from the East Coast and not being familiar with the area, I had no idea what to expect but when we arrived we were more than thrilled. The cottage is located in a beautiful and private location in Manzanita Beach and the views are stunning. To access the beach you simply walk right down a short path. There is plenty of outdoor seating and a table to eat dinner while we watched the sunsets. We also really enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. The cottage is very accommodating with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The beds are very comfortable and with the sound of the ocean we didn't have any trouble sleeping. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and everything you need to cook a nice meal. Don't think twice about choosing this cottage for your next vacation at Manzanita! We can't wait to come back!

I can not say how perfect and beautiful this home is. It is rare to find a home that has 14 individual beds, each one a dream to sleep in. No one in our large group had an uncomfortable nights sleep. Even the bunk beds were great! The house is so thoughtfully laid out with tons of places for cozy days. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. Our large group was in love with the house from the first moment and it never disappointed! We can’t wait to return. It’s absolutely the perfect beach house.

If you’re looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway, I highly recommend this house/neighborhood. Just a short walk from town and the beach, it is in an excellent location. The house is gorgeous and interior is very chic/updated. One of my best friends and I recently stayed here, and by the end of our extended weekend, we both left feeling rejuvenated. I hope I have another opportunity to stay again soon!

My fiancé and I had an incredible stay at this beautiful beach house on Manzanita's shores. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views and peaceful atmosphere. The tastefully decorated interior provided a cozy and inviting space, making us feel right at home. Waking up to the sound of crashing waves and having direct access to the beach was a dream come true. The attentive service from the host added an extra touch of excellence to our unforgettable beach getaway. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a remarkable stay on the Manzanita coast.

I've stayed at all the homes with the exception of Reed House. Manzanita is my happy place and Kim's homes have made my visits there even better. Great locations, thoughtful design, comfy beds, and well-equipped kitchens. I'm a long-time customer (maybe 7+ years) and will continue coming back.

Beautiful house, great location, and great communication with the host. My friend, myself, and my dog stayed there and marveled over the ease of access to the beach, the well decorated interior, and the serenity of the house. Questions were answered immediately and host was very accommodating. We’ll be back here!

Spend MLK weekend here with my family and cannot imagine a better location to enjoy the beach. This house has everything! Felt like we had a private beach even on the holiday weekend. With direct beach access we were able to get out early with the dogs and enjoy the crisp mornings before anyone made the trek.

The house itself was perfect for our family of four and we could have added a couple more people with room to spare. I cannot say enough about how comfortable the beds were... we found ourselves reaching out to the owners after our trip to order the same setup for our own home!

Can't wait for our next trip to this wonderful location in Manzanita.

We loved this place! A group of 4 sisters in their 50s think this place is amazing and would stay here again!! Great location, great views!! Everything we needed and more was supplied! Ocean front was incredible! Extremely conformable bedding and mattresses! We all ranted and raved about them. Clean unit. Updated. So spacious and loved the fact that there is an upper floor with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and a lower floor with 6 bunkbeds with comfy mattresses and linens as well and a full bathroom! Just a wonderful overall stay here the 2nd to the last weekend of Summer 2022. Felt like a home away from home and wish we were here longer! Thank you for this wonderful place to lodge! Hope to be back soon!!!!

We scheduled a reunion with our daughter and her family at the Historic Reed House. We range in age from 90 to three. This three-level home was perfect for us. As the 90-year old in the group, I got a suite with a private bath and a sitting area where I could retreat if the noise of five young great-grandchildren got to me, a rare occurrence this weekend since they spent a lot of time in the lower level game room playing pool! Their parents, my grandchildren and their spouses spent most of their time in the large family/living/dining and kitchen area. This open space allowed the rotating “chefs” the opportunity to still be part of the action. All, including me on a couple of occasions,enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the ability to see the wonderful view not only from the large “great” room but also from a deck which is spacious enough for a much larger number of people. My son-in-law cooked a leg of lamb in the open pit barbecue and I visited with long-time friends who now live in Neahkanie for most of the year in this same area, socially distant of course. The beds are very comfortable as are the chairs in the great room. The linens, towels, sheets and pillowcases were clean and of excellent quality. The double dishwashers allowed us to always be able to have clean plates, glasses and silverware, also of the nicest quality. The refrigerator was large enough to handle all the food that our four “entities” brought along. I can hardly wait to bring my son and his family (15 of us) to this wonderful vacation place.

Celebrated my mother's 90th! birthday at the Oceanfront Reed House with three families, 4 generations including 5 kids under 12. We had a wonderful time in this fantastic house with great separation of spaces. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the movie room, the pool table and their bunk beds. Grown-ups loved having all the noise downstairs and the ability to read and visit while kids are having a good time.

The decor is delightful with unique whimsical touches everywhere. Kitchen is well outfitted and the decks provide great views. We also enjoyed the fire pit next to the house when the winds picked up in the afternoon. Comfy beds with delicious sheets - need some at home!

Terrific selections of houses. Our large family stayed in the lodge. It was recently remodeled and it showed. The layout was really great for our group. The views were as advertised and better. The sunsets were spectacular. The kitchen had what we needed with space enough for all the cooks. The owner was extremely professional and quick with responses. We appreciated their detailed information regarding cleaning which is a concern right now. The house was spotless, comfortable and we all have the best sleep. Especially in the king beds. The kids appreciated the close beach access.

My hubby and I got away from all the craziness and celebrated our Anniversary on the Oregon Coast. Manzanita is such a beautiful area. We decided to visit one of the houses of this business as they were more unique than the other houses offered on the beach which looked like other houses found .. where ever. These houses advertise as traditional beach houses updated for today's standards. I very much agree. We stayed at the Bungalow and it was so sweet and cozy yet had incredible views. It's not easy to feel like you've gotten away to somewhere special anymore, but this is truly a special location and well decorated and stocked house. It also has a lot of charm, great decor, and has everything you want for a vacation spot. Kim, the owner, was very helpful in our special arrangements. Annika was very sweet in helping me book. We will be back. I'm not sure if we'll tell all of our friends, as we want time available when we return.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is clean, open, bright and airy. The style of the house is eclectic, modern and is tastefully appointed. The natural light in the space is great and the ocean views are incredible. Our family of four and dog loved walking right across the street to the easy beach access. We can't wait to return and will make this our go-to spot when staying in Manzanita!

We rented the Historic Reed House for a week. It was a very relaxing place to vacation. The house was clean and the evidence of Covid protocols utilization duly noted.
I love to cook so I was pleasantly surprised at how well equipped the kitchen was. Being right on the ocean front the sea breezes and ocean sound were great with the windows open. Access to the beach was literally walking across the road and down to the shore.
We had our grand dogs with us and the house was very pet friendly. I think they were saddest leaving to come home as they live in Portland without a lot of room to roam.
Definitely looking forward to a return visit.

Our group selected this beach property due to the location, the views, and the set up. Little did we know we’d fall in life with this charmingly restored old lady. The owner showed us photos of the original lay out. Gone are the dark rooms with small windows. Instead, this is a warm, light filled house with million dollar views. The set up is great for a large group. The beach is just a skip away. The kitchen is perfect for a large group with a dining setup that seats everyone. The bonus is the wonderful town of Manzanita. Goodbye crowded Cannon Beach. Hello our new favorite beach trip.

We have rented four of the Houses on Manzanita Beach properties over a six year period - some more than once. This year we stayed at the Oceanfront Cottage November 22-24. All of the properties are beautifully maintained and well managed. We especially like this cottage because it literally sits on the sand. You open the sliding door, walk out onto the deck and take a short walk to the waterfront - no roads to cross or difficult paths to navigate. The cottage has two masters which affords a lot of privacy. The living room is small but cozy with an amazing oceanfront view. Even if it is raining, you can sit by the fire with take in the view up and down the beach. The Owner is a delight to work with as is her staff. Their communication is excellent - this was particularly helpful this year with all of the uncertainty around Covid restrictions. Any of the houses would be a great choice!

Just as we planned, our vacation at the Historic Reed House was amazing!! Our family was there last summer, and we knew we had to go again! The accommodations could not have been better.

The ocean view was breathtaking from the numerous windows on all levels, as well as the huge wrap around deck! The four sitting areas on the main floor were ideal for playing games, reading a book, or taking a cozy nap. The massive fireplace was a great backdrop for family pictures or simply for warmth and atmosphere. The beautiful table in the dining area that easily seated all 19 of us was perfect! The owners have thought of everything, from double sinks and two dishwashers in the kitchen, plus enough counter space for people to work together efficiently. We loved that there were more than enough dishes for everyone, cooking utensils, and pots and pans for a gourmet cook.

The 7 bedrooms and 5 beautifully tiled unique bathrooms could not have been better! The lower level is truly a haven for kids and adults alike! The pool table, ping-pong table, and large TV room were all favorites. Access to the beach was the best! We were right there! The entire house has a clean, classy, vintage style, which instantly makes you smile and feel at home. The website pictures truly do tell the story…It is AWESOME!!!!
