Family Medicine: Adventist Health Tillamook

I went to Urgent Care, with no appointment, and was seen within 15 minutes! Sarah, the provider, was very approachable, knowledgeable, and personable. It was a wonderful experience!

The people are very accessible and respectful and HUMAN. TRULY, WITHOUT MIGHTY QUINN AND CHRIS KRUEBBE RESCUE I AM NOT SURE I WOULD HAVE SURVIVED. I AM GRATEFUL FOR THE SUPPORT AND INFORMATION I AM ALIVE.

Had my MUCH needed spinal decompression surgery scheduled for this morning. We made the almost 2 1/2 hour drive after having to fast for twelve hours and going through the entire pre surgery process, got to the waiting room to change in to my gown, and was just about to be getting started on my sedation, when at the last minute the nurse asked to see a burn I had gotten three days prior from a scalding hot coffee incident.
Now, by this point there were literally 5 different medical professionals at two separate Adventist associated clinics who had either been told and/or seen
in person this very thing INCLUDING the lead surgeon the very night before, and ALL had said that because it wasn’t close to my back, that as long as it wasn’t infected, it wouldn’t be a problem.
Now, due to poor pre op procedure performed by the surgical staff, I’ve wasted so much time and energy (not easy on my flared up disc), AND will not get in to surgery for even longer than if the issue had been properly addressed at the proper time…and did I mention that I was unable to get actual painkillers
OR steroid injections due to my insurance?🤬
Literally every experience I’ve had with Adventist, be it specialists, general practice, urgent care, or ER (I’ve had to do all) has been sub-par to downright aweful. So much so that it has probably added considerably to my negative situation and both mental and physical health. Fed Up.
