My son has been going to la petite since he was one, and this is his last summer here as they don’t exceed past kindergarten. I’m extremely sad as I wished it longer! He loves this school so much! The staff is always friendly and professional, extremely grateful for the years my son has been going here. Can’t thank the staff enough for watching my son grow!

My one year old daughter has been attending since about 8 months old. So far we love it!! everyone is so kind and all the teachers know her name (even the kindergarten teachers!) she is very well taken care of and the teachers in her class are so nice and sweet. They do crafts and play with the babies you can tell that they truly care for them. I feel so comfortable with her there! I highly recommend this place!

Absolutely AMAZING! The director Stephanie really CARES about her school, is always in a cheerful mood. They have LOW if any turn over on teachers. There have been the same teachers in the year my children have attended and they are all MATURE, loving and caring individuals. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this school is. My daughters love their classes and are VERY happy at La Petite Fairview. They have learned SO much! Go check them out, it speaks for itself. I was amazed at the difference when I visited compared to the competitors I checked out. I do not worry when I leave the secure building. LOVE this school!

Staff is kind, caring, and compassionate and the facility is also clean and secure. The daily updates about your child via an app is fantastic, especially for a new mom returning to work, it helps put your mind at ease to be able to check on your child at the click of a button. I highly recommend La Petite Academy of Fairview!

I did not plan on going back to work after I had my daughter, so when I did when she was 1 years old I was neverous about putting her in daycare. We found La Petite Academy and absolutly love it. I feel confident in leaving my little girl there and I don't worry about her all day. It's nice to have a clean and safe place to leave our little one! Thanks!

They recently changed their policies to be very unsupportive of breastfeeding moms. They no longer allow you to leave a pack of frozen breastmilk in their freezer as back-up. Instead, they expect you to bring enough milk for the day, plus an extra bottle "just in case you are late" or the baby drinks more than expected. Anything that's left at the end of the day, even if it is fresh milk and thus good for up to 5 days, must be taken home instead of left in their refrigerator for the next day. Driving the milk home and then back again the next day is less safe than just leaving it in their refrigerator. Also, if the "extra just in case" bottle is thawed frozen milk that you have to take home, you have to either bottle feed it to your baby that night before it goes bad and thus lose out on a nursing session, or waste it. It's much easier and less wasteful to bring what you think they'll need for the day and have an extra frozen milk pack in their freezer as back-up/just in case, which they used to allow you to do. It's also safer and more convenient to be able to leave fresh breastmilk in their refrigerator instead of carting it home and then back again. Instead, I've had to choose between wasting milk every day or leaving formula as back-up. These rules were not in place with my first child who went there and I was able to exclusively feed her breastmilk. Because of these policies, my second has had to have formula since I don't have enough milk to bring an "extra just in case" bottle every day. I have asked around and other daycares in the area don't have such restrictive policies. Prior to these unsupportive to breastfeeding moms policies, I would have given La Petite more stars. They appear more concerned with reducing their remote legal liability than supporting breastfeeding moms and offering very basic milk storage services.

Why do I only see responses to good reviews? You don't have nothing to say to the parents that aren't satisfied with your childcare services? Must be true what some people have to say then?

Not a good place to work. The kids are great and I loved my class as well as other classes, I tried to stay as long as I could for the kids.. However, management is terrible! Your children are not their top priority, they can’t keep staff (with good reason), the director has no idea what she is doing, staff members have corrected her multiple times on licensing and state regulations. I had a kid pass out in my classroom, out of the blue, and Cynthia refused to call mom. Thankfully I caught mom at the window and told her what happened. He was pulled the following day. Cynthia is not an honest person and will tell you what you want to hear to get you out of the office, even if it’s not true. She doesn’t take any responsibility for her mistakes and blames others. She over enrolled kids at La Petite, despite staff members coming to her with concern about the low staff to the number of kids, it got so bad she had kids (infant to PreK) piled in the hallway running all over the place. She’s lied to parents multiple times about the location of their child (this baby was in the hallway) she told them they were outside. Cynthia put a baby on the floor under the desk, the baby cried for over 40 minutes, it was so bad my kids asked why they weren’t doing anything.

Stable groups were not a thing until just recently after licensing caught them. They had rooms combining to nap, combined in the mornings and afternoons.

Jr. K capacity is 20 kids...they were always over and put infants in that room. They stopped moving kids over on the britewheel app as well so you couldn’t see how many kids were in a room.

If you were interested in working here beware. If we got our 10 minute breaks it was a miracle! Let alone trying to go to the bathroom, you literally couldn’t, we didn’t have any extra staff to allow us to go to the bathroom. Teachers were puking in their rooms and were unable to go home because we didn’t have enough staff to cover.

EDIT***

I called the number left by “the owner” it was a general number for customer service and they did not care about the situation.

My son attended for over 3 years. They knew he was special needs yet expected the same from him as other children. Then I was verbally assaulted in front of children and staff by another parent. The staff did nothing to help me or stop the other parent, she was allowed to continue going for at least a week before she removed her kid on her own, he wasn't kicked out. One week after that my son was kicked out with no notice or reason given causing him severe emotional distress which we are still experiencing side effects from 6 months later. This of course was after they spent the 10 grand grant they received to buy him things to help him be able to function and adjust in class.

This place is about the money. Any decent teacher they fire or the teacher leaves because they can't help the kids. All the administration cares about is getting as much money as they can, even overfill classes to make more.
