Manzanita Branch Library

A comfortable little, library. The staff is friendly, helpful and the hours it is open are very convenient for most people. One of the little things…the bottom shelf of books are displayed “spine side” up so you can actually see the book titles! Brilliant!

The library is full of good stuff and helpful staff. They host a knitting group Thursday 4to6 pm every week.

Friendly service; contacted me various times to let me know dates available, arranged the room and set up the tv if needed. Nice size for15 or less in a meeting. Must have a library card.

Guess what I learned about ukelleles???

The newfangled Banjo-Ukellele is easier to play, has a much richer, more resonant tone ... Yet, I am still unmusical.

Albeit, strumming & singing along, on a bright balmy sunny Spring day, in a quaint seaside village, with a bunch of enthusiastic friends & neighbors ... Is a very good beachy kinda thing to do!

It was an excellent experience reading by the chairs at the back of the library. I was able to find a perfect parking spot by the trees just off the road.

It was quiet during the evening time as I had the opportunity to read Shawshank Redemption by Stephen King. Felt like the time had just gone away so quickly.

The wifi was good also; there are some electrical outlets by the chair where I could charge my gadgets.

It's very small like the little community, but the staff and readers/borrowers are friendly. You may want to use some ear plugs when you go there. And make sure you know their hours before you go to the library.

I really like their WiFi, I can just park out there and use it anytime.

Nice small town library. Comfy seating in quiet room, with lots of windows. Could use some air conditing though.

If your in town and need something to sink your teeth into as far as literature is concerned this is your stop. While they dont have a huge selection, you'll still find something great here. The staff can even offer recommendations if you feel inclined to ask.
