I am so happy that I switched from my previous clinic to this practice! Great service, terrific vet, and caring, competent support staff and techs. A great experience for myself and my dogs!

They saw me within 20min of calling. The vet staff were friendly and concise. The vet came out to the lobby to speak with me personally for an impressive amount of time. They made me feel better about my cat's health instantly.

My family and I have been utilizing this clinic's services since 2008 for our various pets over the years. They have always been kind, prompt, and compassionate.

We have had some exotic pets over the years and have always been able to get appointments as needed.

In the instances where we have had to say goodbye to a companion, they have been deeply respectful and also allowed us to be present for euthanasia so our little buddy didn't have to be alone.

We take our pugs here and really glad we decided to pick this place. The Vet is super kind and cares about the animals she sees. We felt she really cared and we were treated with respect and kindness. Unfortunately, in these days, that’s getting harder and harder to come by. Not here. Thank you, Halsey Animal Clinic!

We had such a bad scare with our beagle and we were trying to get him in to be seen as soon as possible, but they didn’t have any immediate appointments. So I started calling urgent care clinics in a panic. Before I could even get off the phone with the first urgent care that I called, I received a call back from the clinic and Dr. Vidos offered to squeeze us in around closing! She was so thoughtful and cognizant that urgent care is triple the price and they don’t have a history on our pet. She was so amazing and took such good care of him! She spent a lot of time answering our questions and calming our nerves. Over the next 24 hours vet-tech Crystal answered every single call of mine, reassured me, gave me clear instructions, but mostly, she was just so kind. When our dog turned the corner and started getting better, the genuine relief that Crystal had was a clear sign that she is passionate about her work. I’m just so grateful for them!

They’re always very professional clean and they’re very good with my dog who is usually scared to go in to their place and she’s an American Staffordshire terrier and they don’t get phased by her looks or her scary looking demeanor as most people think pit bulls are scary and dangerous so they handle her very well and she’s actually a big

I’m very, very happy with both the customer service and veterinary service at Halsey East. They are incredibly professional while still being friendly! I was very pleased with how they handled my dogs neuter ie the high quality, up-to-date medical care that they clearly provide, their thoroughness and even how he looked and behaved when I picked him up (not upset, or disheveled).
I am always happy to do whatever is best for my pets, but I also have a lot of questions and want to understand why/what we’re doing and hear about the different options. I have never felt like I was annoying any of the techs, or the doctor with my questions which is honestly so refreshing!
I’m looking forward to bringing my new kitten here and my pup for many years to come!

Dr Vockert is awesome, thorough, and kind. We feel confident bringing our 4-legged family members to him.

Couldn't recommend them more. If you need a great vet for a reasonable price this is your place.

Had a great experience there today (my first visit). Everyone was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. Total transparency. No surprises -- and it seems very intentional.

Location:
I absolutely love this location. I am biased, as it is very close to my house, but it is easy to find. They have ample parking. The facility is always clean.

The Doctor:
There are other vets on staff here, but I can only speak for ours.
Dr. Olsen is amazing. Kind, perceptive, empathetic, and patient. We have four cats and a dog who see Dr. Olsen, and they all love her.
Unlike a lot of medical professionals, she actually listens to everything you say and takes it into consideration when treating your pets. She asks questions and doesn't make assumptions about your pets' symptoms, behaviors, etc.
We have nothing but love for doctor Olsen in this household.

Vet Techs:
All of the vet techs are friendly, patient, kind, and knowledgeable. They are so good with my pets, some of whom can be difficult.

Front Desk Staff:
The front desk staff are always courteous and helpful. Most of them know me and my pets since we have so many. The intro message on the automated phone system that plays when you're trying to call is SO long when you're just trying to check in for an appointment, but that's obviously not the fault of the front-of-house staff.

Doggie Daycare:
I have taken my puppy here a lot for daycare. He seems to really like it, all the staff are amazing, and he gets to interact with other dogs in a controlled environment. They require that all dogs are up-to-date on their vaccinations, which I LOVE. It helps mitigate the risk of my puppy getting sick.
Dogs at daycare are in a kennel for a large portion of the day. If you take an energetic dog here for daycare, they will definitely not be tired at the end of the day when you pick them up. Not necessarily a bad thing, but something to keep in mind for my fellow owners of rambunctious babies.
If my puppy has a simple vaccination appointment or something, I'll take him here for daycare, have the vet/tech do his shots, then take him back to the daycare area. Totally worth the cost of boarding him there for the day.
The daycare staff are WONDERFUL. It is a very convenient option if you are out of the house all day.

Overall:
I absolutely adore everyone who works here! The care your pets will receive is very high quality, and the people you interact with are going to be very kind and knowledgeable.
The only drawbacks are the long intro message on the phone system and the lack of any online self-service options. An online portal with all my pets' records would be such an enormous added value to my already positive experience with this vet. I would love to be able to make an appointment, or even just request an appointment, quickly online without having to call. The ability to check in online for an appointment or daycare would be amazing, too.

I've been taking of my pets here for over 35 years, and there's no other place I'd take them. Their knowledge, as well as their genuine compassion and love for these animals is evident..

Halsey East staff have been our dogs' vets for 11 years. They care deeply for them and we are so grateful for the wonderful service we receive from them. We highly recommend them to our friends with pets.

Always takes excellent care with my pets!

Higher end care. First visit there with a rescue. The vet and tech did everything to deal with this frightened sick animal at a reasonable price! So gentle.! And teaching!
Went to a different more "economical" clinic & was told, "Probably has a UTI. She's healthy" no labs done. Ruff examination. And was dismissed.
This vet clinic recommended to me.
Now my place to go!
Also has pet hotel for when you want to travel.

Great staff, Dr. Olsen has spayed both our cats and a cystotomy on our oldest cat. Dr. Olsen is great at listening and answering one's questions and concerns. They are great with following up on your pet after surgery or even emergency/urgent care visits. Appreciate all the work they do.

They are awesome. We started coming to here when I was a child and it was his father’s practice. We are always met with a kind and caring staff. I have been to other vets and had I hard time putting complete trust in them, but they have always had 100 percent of my trust.
