Glisan Market Moa Chain

We went the wrong way in Portland and . . . er I went the wrong way in Portland (my wife had nothing to do with it) and needed some water. We stopped at what we would later discover was one of Gilsan Market Moa's chain of convenience stores. A nice woman was at the counter and we exchanged pleasantries. I walked around to get some water. I say walked around to get some water because half of the perimeter is fill with beverages. The water is the first thing you come to if you come in the store and walk straight to the cooler.
Fascinating as it is, its this kind of recon that makes your next water purchase possible.

Always has friendly people who are very helpful. I once accidentally left my phone on the counter in the process of paying for my items and the cashier held on to it until I came back a few minutes later. Also has 10 foot charging cables for 10$. Micro USB, c type and iPhone chargers (there may be more but those are the most common types)

It is very nice to have this family run store in our neighborhood. Lots of sustainable food for those who don't have a car. The owner is the most friendliest and compassionate person i know. She genuinely cares for her customers. The Queen!!!

The Owner is who gets me to come back. Very kind and Truthful and welcomes you everytime. Prices are set right and his inventory of glass bongs etc is remarkable

Hands down best little store ever, 100% respect for the whole family, for running such a great place even though its not the best neighborhood. And also, thank you so much for risking the drive there during the ice storm. Just so you could be open and help out the neighborhood. Thanks again...

I absolutely loved it I got some hard boiled eggs there and the lady behind the counter was so awesome she made me a special bag of salt and pepper and cuz she didn't have any other ones and she went in the back and did it for me and you don't get a lot of that so that's awesome place to go

They are the best store experience ever. Always respecting all customers. Can't say enough. Me and my grandson come here at least once a week for almost 3yrs. Thanks

Fantastic place! If you see people camped behind please ask them to leave and if you are currently camped behind, please leave. These people are wonderful and don't need the added headache.

I love this little market, I had been going there since 2011, Mama, & Wayne, are very friendly, they make you feel welcome, a family oriented market that make you feel welcome, regardless of your heritage! Wish I could give ten stars, because I would if possible!!!

Why are there no reviews? The family that owns this buisness is super awesome and friendly as well as having good prices on cigarettes and beer. Pretty much a staple of the neighborhood.

Great little community store. Has more things that one may need than say a 7-11. The have beer to baby wipes to hats and more. Alway leave with stuff I need and think I need. Fair prices

I have lived in the neighborhood for years. The family that owns it is super sweet. Always friendly and their shelves are always stocked and the store is clean. This is my GO TO market!

It's a good mom and pop store really nice and clean prices is very fair anything over $5 bags is free
