*wistful sigh* I wish I lived in Salem, MA, so I could go to Odd Meter for coffee every day.

Their seasonal specials? Always delightful. Availability of plant-based milks? On point. Customer service? Always amazing. So, do I need to tell you anything else?

During the peak season (October) the lines here (and everywhere) can be long, so why not make a trip in the off season? No lines on my most recent visit and they were able to pull a double espresso shot into the gingersnap chai for me! Their drinks never disappoint and I won’t go anywhere else for coffee in town. Run there!

What a quaint little spot. It was packed and the employees still had a smile on their faces. We were only there for 3 days but made it here twice. They must be exhausted with the October crowd and how they freshly grind the coffee. One employee even had a birthday sash the one day we were there. It was an honor to celebrate their day with them while we visited.

The coffee taste so good! Not too sweet and not too bitter. I got the Iced Witch’s Wand Latte and it was so delicious. The ambience of the place is nice and cozy as well. :)

I come through this assessment to retract with the cafeteria attendant, I must have misinterpreted the situation, I apologize and I am always available to help.
to talk. At that moment I felt like that, but as explained by the attendant, it wasn't what I was feeling. I have always received very good service at this establishment. It was just a noise of communication in the language and I will continue to frequent the environment. I am correcting my assessment of the establishment.

GREAT local coffee shop. Very high quality beans, great snacks, speedy service and a bright atmosphere. Every local I know agrees it's the best place in Salem to grab a coffee to go.

Bonus points for having maybe the coolest customized (translucent!?) espresso machine. As a former barista, super jealous at how nice the whole setup is. Someone put a ton of love and thought into the whole store.

Busy busy! But for all the right reasons! The pumpkin pie latte was just what the doctor ordered. A nice warm croissant and a Kouign-Amann were the best I have had and believe me, I have had several!

Possibly my favorite coffee shop in the United States (I am not that well traveled stateside but I’ve seen some things). Such a detail-oriented spot; every time I go I notice something new that was arranged or chosen with care (for example today that they use milk poured from glass bottles [at least at the time of writing]! In a world of dented plastic containers coated in PFAS forever chems, I really appreciate this choice; also, blown glass glasses for iced lattes taken in-house). A place of calm & care that has an aura that consistently draws me back to Salem to continue to be replenished by.

Delicious coffee shop! Got the hazelnut and the iced spring bunny. Must have with oat milk! Very kind customer service and made with quality espresso machines. Huge fan and best coffee I’ve had in Salem.

This place is a VIBE!!! Loved the super cute otter theme, bright colors & fun vibe! This place is worth a stop in!

Honestly, I really believe they make the world’s best pumpkin spice latte here after having one. I’ve never had one THIS good. 🎃 Delicious, creamy & full of flavor- it tasted like legit pumpkin pie in liquid form. They have oat milk & a dairy free version of the latte which I got which was amazing.

So happy to have stopped in here. But also sad (not local) because I will be forever dreaming of that amazinggggg pumpkin spice latte. Until next visit Salem! 💕🎃

Most inclusive, welcoming, and tasty coffee shop in the world! New specials every time we come, but always the same loving atmosphere. This is always our first stop when we visit Salem👏

Only suggestion would be to offer larger coffee sizes--but then again, I could always order two!

Delicious! I got the seasonal Pimpkin Pie latte and a carmel latte and they were delicious. Not overly sweet, they were perfect. Everyone was very nice, great service. Must visit for your coffee fix in Salem.

I enjoyed my visit. The pour over coffee ☕ had a smooth flavor. "Good to the last drop!".
Very friendly staff. I was told ahead of time that it would take seven minutes to prep my coffee. No problem! A server brought my coffee to where I was sitting. I don't know if they usually do that, but, I am using a cane and it was very helpful with what they did. The staff says they enjoy working at the cafe. They said the owner came up with the name for the business from a musical term since he plays guitar 🎸.
Another customer, who was buying a bag of coffee said she dropped her latte drink outside. It was replaced free of charge. They were able to look up her receipt and what she ordered.
I enjoyed the window 🪟 seating. I like to watch the "flow" of the city. I liked how the cafe was set up.
I needed to use the bathroom, something the staff takes pride in. Handicap accessible and well maintained. I think 🤔 the bears 🐻 from the Charmin commercials will like the bathroom.
Only issue, the chocolate croissant 🥐 I ordered tasted okay but had very little filling and was too flaky. They don't make their own pastries. I'll try the sticky bun next time.

If you're going to overspend on coffee go to odd meter to actually get your moneys worth!

Has an artisan feel and the baristas are very nice. Wish the seating was a little more comfortable but it seems like its not the kind of place they want people lingering/working.

We stopped by for a coffee while walking around Salem. It’s a very cute coffee shop with few tables inside. My latte was delicious and served in a nice mug. The shop is nicely decorated with cool wall art. Barista did a great job and everyone was friendly. They have a bathroom available for customers

A few days ago, I visited Salem for the first time and this coffee shop was conveniently placed a few blocks from the train stop. As an art major, I found the logo design, welcome sign out front, and playful coloring of the cafe to be fun and unique. The staff were friendly and patient as I was choosing what to get. I got a ham and cheese pastry, a bottle of apple cider, a can of grape soda, and a lavender/vanilla latte. I am a flight attendant so I have had coffee all over the world and it keeps me going. The coffee was so good, I would have had another one if I had time. Everything else was great, but it was truly one of the best lattes I have had in a long time. Thanks for making the beginning of my trip so pleasant. I will tell anyone going to Massachusetts about it.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming. When I had an issue that they couldn't help me with, they directed me where I could go. I got one of their spring coffees and it was made perfectly. The caramel, espresso and milk were shaken (not stirred) to perfection. They really take pride in what they do and it shows. I had an already stressed morning and it made it all worth it. I would 100% recommend Odd Meter to Everyone. The location is perfect. I just can't say enough about how much I adore Odd Meter Coffee.

Just had an amazing Kyoto style iced coffee and it's the smoothest iced coffee I've ever had. Employees were quick and efficient and also very detailed in the explanation of their menu. You can tell they take pride in their work. 10/10 recommend.
