Richdale Convenience Store

Best convenience store I can think of in Salem area. I'm coming in the store from last 3 years and never disappoint with their products and Staff's behaviour. Must Recommended.

I go here alot since I live near by and love the place I been going for years I have noticed recently new people work there I remember the one with glasses and little boy with wife now it different people I never run into and problems owners are nice always I get it sometimes there may have a bad day or a customer who comes in hot headed and causes a a problem . But all times I go in it been pleasant experience I appreciate all the they at the rich dales

Me and my older sister come here for all our smoking products ! From backwoods and rats too Amazing bongs, lighters, ash trays, he has everything !!! For a great price too ! They also sell a variety of different snacks and drinks and we’ve never had a bad experience! The store is always clean and organized They’re very nice and kind people overall the best convenience store in this part of Salem ! They’re customer service is great.... I tell everyone to come to this richdales they’re the best, I will always be a customer here !

Run by a husband and wife. If I could give it 6 stars I would. They are a wonderful couple with a wonderful smart boy. They go out of their way for you. If there is something you want and they don't carry it, they take note of it and get it in for you. If you can't find something in the store and they have it, they will find it for you. Best convenient store I've ever been to. I think it's awful that some people have given them bad reviews because they got caught stealing etc. These really nice people don't deserve that. Kudos to this family and store. Your awesome!

I come here for my disposable vape pens & a few other things, weekly. Great store, husband and wife are always very sweet.

Best store in town

I stayed at a nearby AirBnb for over a month, as I was visiting from Bermuda. While visiting, I frequently bought snacks and toiletries at this store. For the last two weeks of my trip, my mom joined us (my young son and I), and one evening, when she took my son to get snacks (she picked up quite a bit), the man who runs the store shouted out, "we do not take food stamps here!" Being the person my mom is, she still made the purchase, but I was very upset. Here we are, visitors to your country, supporting your business, and this is how you treat us? Because we are black, he automatically assumed we were using food stamps. The man who runs this store is a prejudiced racist.

I will be 💯% honest as I always am. I take my reviews very seriously. I was a daily customer to this Richdale for a long time, since Ken & Tina, wife & husband took over. I admired their dedication to working so much on their own while raising a little one. Lately, for reasons unknown to me, Ken started treating me differently. Told me I didn't pay for my.$1.00 coffee, as if on purpose. It wasn't. He pointed out a female customer who owes him $160.00 he told me yet he said nothing to her. Usually I go in buy a coffee and sit to play Keno on their lovely leather lounge chairs and talk with various customers. I usually take 2 empty cups and most times offer to pay for them, they always say no, no. Today, in front of another customer I put one cup under my hot cup. Ken came right over and said stop taking cups. I turned red, started tearing up and said ok, I won't be in anymore. This humiliation caused me to be so embarrassed. The only customers Ken is lovely to are the ones who play hundreds of dollars in lottery and Keno. Not me. I am come forth to let people know, for no reason, this owner has accused & humiliated me. Only go in if you plan to spend a lot and give him a big tip. They no longer take food stamps as they say they don't want that clientele in their store. Friends of mine, please tell me what I have done wrong, what happened to courtesy of mom & pop stores. Love to all and God bless you.

BOUGHT TWO 1GAL JUGS OF WATER THAT MADE ME SICK.

Something tasted... off... like plastic had leeched into the water... but I'm pretty sure it was mold or some form of bacteria.
This place was not very clean upon entry so I have no idea what could have gotten into the gallons of water... maybe something on the hands of those who deliver or stock the fridge. Either way, does not matter, it made me SICK. I can't believe I even spent money on water. Had to pour out the remainder of what I had not consumed.
