Oregon Du Drops

If you are driving by Oregon Du Drop Gallery, you *must* stop in. It is an absolute gem. Cat is a delightful spokesperson for her husband's art. We came in and stayed for an hour hearing about the story of the du drops and other fun conversation. The du drops are beautiful and infinitely interesting. Even if you manage to resist taking one home you'll enjoy the awe and wonder and get some remarkable photos.

Cool store with art pieces that have rain collected from every month and year!

You can special order them also if you want a specific year/ month of rain. They have rain collected from each month starting around 2004 or so.

Prices seemed to start around $50 or so.

DuBois is an artist and a wonderfully nice gentleman. We loved talking to him about the story of how he met his wife.

We visited the Oregon coast from Utah this last week and HAD to go into Oregon Du Drops. This was the main location we wanted to visit when bringing home a special gift for ourselves, and it didn't disappoint! The products are absolutely beautiful and unique, so we left with four Du Drops! Cat was lovely and it was amazing to hear her back story on how she met her husband and how they man this business together. It's a beautiful story! Cat went out of her way to make the gifts special. I will visit this location again the next time I visit the coast. Lovely shop! Thank you Cat and husband!

This store was such a treasure to find! Absolutely beautiful dew drops! I wanted more than one, but I'm so happy with the one we chose. These make wonderful gifts. The owner of the store told us the neat story of how they came to making the dew drops! We will definitely visit this store again when we visit the coast!

Beautiful art, all the bulbs are engraved with the month and year they collected the rain. The shop owner is so nice and welcoming. Small shop but great shop, definitely glad I visited! And amazing art!!!

We came upon Oregon Du Drops while taking our three week adventure up the lovely Oregon coast. We were camped down in Netarts at one of the RV parks there and decided to do a morning drive north for a bit which brought us to Rockaway Beach. The Du Drops hanging in the tree in front of the shop caught my eye so we stopped. What a lovely, captivating display indoors, too! Magical! As Cat, one of the owners, explained just what Du Drops were, I fell in love with the concept and the passion that her artist husband, James Stephen Du Bois, displayed in every one of his pieces. I bought four Du Drops; one as a keepsake for my children born on the same day in April, one for my granddaughter and one for my unborn sibling to my granddaughter. Also, one as a gift for my daughter. I'll be purchasing more online once my 2nd grandchild comes into the world in December! I'll also keep them in mind for future gifts as you can custom order at anytime.
Cat packed them up wonderfully, and they made the trip back in our trailer to Colorado unscathed. I couldn't be happier with this shop and their very special product! If you ever find yourself on this stretch of Hwy 101, treat yourself by stopping in and meeting these marvelous folks! Oh, Cat has a wonderful singing voice which plays softly in the background while you shop :-) Thank you, both!

This store is so wonderful. I have two of these dew drops. I could have talked all day to the lady. You go to smal towns same thing in each store. You won't find this one of a kind dew drop anywhere else love it

Absolutely beautiful original pieces of art! Bought a piece for my friend's birthday but will have to go back to get one for myself one day!

This place is way cool!! Her husband takes lightbulb (cool ones) puts rain water in them. Some have crystals in them and hung with brass bell, bell is not there.
