I ordered a bunch of pies and pastries to try.

I have:
ham & sausage pies - warm, delicious with generous fillings

Bear claw, lemon & cream cheese danishes, mixed berries and chocolate sand dollars, and marionberry scone - all very yummy 😋

When I walked in, there was only a pair of customers. Soon after, there was a long time after me. The overall service and atmosphere were alright. Everyone seemed to be friendly except one. When I asked her what was the pastry she was holding as label on the shelf was not visible, she gave me a look I didn't quite like. Fortunately she was not helping me to get my order, otherwise I would have walked out in an instant.

I brought my sisters who live out of state to Rockaway for a sisters weekend. We went to the Beach Bakeshop one morning to try the Sand dollar pastries. Oh my gosh they were so delicious! We also picked up two bacon cheddar scones that were equally as amazing. My sisters love carrot cake, so they each got one of the cute little cakes. They loved them. I believe I found a new Love. ❤ 😋 Truthfully, everything looks amazing. We wanted one of everything.😂
I took some Sand dollars home for my boyfriend and he loved them too. I also much talk about the service. Everyone was very friendly. What a great bakery. I will be back. Do go here when you visit and DO get at least one Sand dollar. Trust me on this.

Stopped in this little bakeshop for a pastry. Was greeted with a smile and a welcome in. Immediately asked how they could help me and explained some of their specialties. I ended up ordering a couple of their chocolate pie pastries to go. It had a nice buttery flavor and flaky crust filled a yummy chocolate pudding filling. I gave it 5 stars due to the combination of quality of food and friendly service. I will go back to try other items on their menu. Excellent customer service experience.

Popped in to grab some snacks to take on the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad ride. My blueberry biscone was amazing. I wished I had grabbed another to heat up later, I bet it's heaven when warm. My husband's chocolate sand dollar was just ok, a little dry. We split the German chocolate brownie and it was one of the best brownies I've ever had. The two young people helping us were very kind and patient while we took our time deciding what we wanted. We will definitely return next time we're in the area.

After a cold long walk on the beach, Beach Bakeshop was an amazing treat! Have to recommend their "sand dollar savory hand pies". The shop was clean, the service was efficient, the customer service was excellent. After a quick conversation I already felt like part of the community. The tables / outdoor seating area may be small, but perfect for grabbing a bite, and listening to the ocean. Can't wait to come back!

Follow us for more places we loved @footstepsandfootage on Instagram. The savory hand pies are beyond good. The turkey pesto is amazing, and the chicken bacon parm. They are like a mix of pie crust and a flaky pastry. The coffee is also a local coffee roaster. We love this place!

The Sand Dollar hand pies are the best I've had. The pie crust is flaky, soft, and delicious. (This coming from someone who doesn't usually love hand pies because most pie crust is dry and/or has a weird after taste.) Also the cinnamon rolls are to die for! We've been twice now this week and plan to go again.

Lovely selection of sweet and savory. Got a bunch of hand pies and sand dollars. All fresh and all tasty. Will definitely go again next time I'm on vacation in Rockaway. Watch out for the lunch rush though. When I got there, there were only 2 people in front of me. By the time I got everything, the place was so crowded that I had to sort of elbow my way to the registers. We're talking from a line of three people to about thirty, with a line out the door. Definitely worth it, but maybe try to go at an off-peak time.

Some of the best pastries I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating! My husband and I bought a handful however the ones that really left a lasting memory on my tastebuds were the Cherry Cream Cheese Danish and the Chocolate Cupcake with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting. The danish was above perfect. It was beautifully flaky and the filling was oh-my-God heavenly. The cupcake was so moist, so chocolatey and gorgeously presented! This will be a regular stop whenever I’m in Rockaway moving forward!

Visited on June 6 (before boarding the train) and what a gem of a place! Friendly staff, reasonable prices, and DELICIOUS baked goods. The salted caramel brownie, OH MY GOSH! We will definitely stop in when we visit through Oregon again. Thank you for this little piece of heaven!

Turkey provolone and pesto and chick parm hand pies were so good!!! Also don’t second guess your self in getting the clam chowder, it was so good. It was me and fiancés first time trying it and now we’re huge fans!!!

UPDATE! Came back by on our last day here. So glad we did. We tried the savory handpies. AMAZING! Of course we also left with another sand dollar raspberry hand pie and a cheese danish. @@@ No trip to anywhere is complete unless you try a local bakery. We are so glad we stopped in here. Let me tell you what I know about a good bakery. If you wait until 1pm to go in the selection will be limited. We grabbed 2 peanut butter cookies, 2 lemon handpies, 1 raspberry handpie, 1 chocolate handpie, and a blackberry scone. The peanut butter cookie was soft and flavorful. Not hard and crunchy. The lemon handpie was phenomenal. The crust was perfectly thin, buttery and had a slight crispness to it. The lemon filling had that tart lemon flavor with a touch of sweet. My daughter loved the chocolate handpie. The rest will wait until later. Certainly put this place in your list.

Such a gem of a Bakeshop in Rockaway Beach! The shop itself is smaller and unassuming but this place packs a punch, and the staff is friendly and efficient. We stopped by for a morning coffee and baked goodies. The Blueberry Buttermilk Biscuit was probably the best blueberry biscuit we’ve ever had, it was light, crisp, fluffy, flavorful and sweet but not overly sweet. The Bacon Cheese Biscuit was fabulous as well. We ended up going back for more the same day and the next morning and ate probably 9 biscuits between 2 ppl haha, it was that good! The Savory Breakfast Hand Pie was also delicious! Glad we found this spot and will be back!

Little seaside bakery, with good lattes. Pastries are made with restraint in terms of salt and sugar, allowing natural flavors to really shine through. Only place on our food tour we hit twice.

Hi-ho-the-ho-dee-day! This bake shop will bring the WARMTH into your morning! My wife and I stopped here for some coffee and tea, and of course my wife had to try their gluten free triple berry scone, and we loved it. Very friendly service, smoothe coffee, reasonably priced, and an overall good time. Check them out before you go walking on the beach when you're in Rockaway!

The beach bakeshop is amazing! We drove over a half hour to get here. All in the previous reviews definitely lived up to this bakeries reputation.

The savory hand pies are AMAZING!! The turnovers were fruity & delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I went to this bakery 3 times in a week it was that good!!! I tried many things, and they were all delicious, but my favorites were the turkey pesto hand pie, and the cinnamon rolls!! The cinnamon rolls were unlike any I’ve had before, you have to get one if you go!!! Such kind employees too.

Fast-paced environment. Very nice, very busy, but quick service. Everything we had was delicious. We had a glazed cinnamon roll, a mixed berry sand dollar, and a chocolate sand dollar pie, and a raspberry cream cheese Danish. I also ordered a iced mocha, and the beans are from a local coffee roaster company. The only suggestion I had would be to post the coffee flavors on a sign.

Best bakery at the coast! The cinnamon rolls were the perfect size, just small enough to have one by yourself. And the Apple cider donuts were warm and sugary.
