My friend & I drove 5 hours from Mississippi to Arkansas to check out a 2013 Honda Civic Si that was listed for a 'too good to be true' price.

I have been working on cars for the past 38 years & was determined to find out what was wrong with this car at that price. I couldn't find anything wrong. It was simply a great deal being offered by the owner Shawn at a very low profit. He is very pleasant & easy to work with. He immediately told us what the car needed to be perfect which were so minor, they were non issues (batteries for the key fobs, tires & a few barely noticeable scratches).

We drove the car around Fayetteville & then another 5 hours back home to Mississippi. The car performs well & still no issues found.

Shawn simply gave my friend a great deal & I would drive TEN hours to buy a car from him if I had to! There's a reason he has stayed in business for the past 33 years in the same location! Thank you for a great deal, sir!

Just bought my daughter a 2011 Nissan Sentra from Shawn. It has been a extremely reliable car for a great price. If you want a good deal on a used car from a reliable dealer and I would recommend Shawn first. He is a great guy with a great reputation.

Talked to Shawn over phone about a 2013 civic Si manual. He assured me it was tip top and ready to go for an unbelievable price. Thought can't be real. He garunteed it was and would hold it for me 24hrs as I had to drive 5hrs from North Ms. Well upon arrival with my mechanic, there it sat just as he said. We test drove it, Shawn said take all the time you need I'm open till 6pm. 1 1/2 later I was ecstatically headed home in my new ride. I highly recommend World of Cars and if you have to travel it's well worth it. Thank you Shawn, you're the best!!!

Shawn, you're the best. In December 2015 we purchased a 2006 Kia Sedona. Paid $3000.00. He worked with us on new tires. 10 months later, the Kia was totaled due to a wreck and the young lady's insurance paid me $6,221.00. I'd say the car was fairly priced.

Went straight back to WORLD OF CARS and purchased a 2005 Mercedes. Shawn was up front about any issues, and had a few minor issues repaired before I picked the car up.

I highly recommend you take a look at Shawn's inventory. He is very good to work with, and tries his best to make you happy.

I purchased a 2017 Hyundai Sonata. It lasted 3 months and had ongoing issues, when going to the dealership I was informed that I shouldn’t have purchased the vehicle. I called Sean to rectify the issue and he told me to take legal action and hung the phone up in my face. DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM HERE!

To respond to what Sean stated, I purchase the vehicle this year! I am 23 years old and am not a teenager! I had the vehicle for 3 months DO NOT PURCHASES! Please don’t believe what this man is saying, he sold me a LEMON! I had the vehicle for 3 months not year!

I am the mother of KAYLA RICHARDSON who is 23 and not a teenager @WORLD of CARS😡. I was with my daughter when she purchased this 2017 Sonata at WORLD OF CARS. She bought it in July 2023. Kayla would get an oil change more than usual because the car was absorbing more oil. Took it Hyundai and she needs a new engine. The car shakes when going a certain speed. WORLD of CARS knew it and sold it to her. Now she has to get another car. Used Dealerships should be FAIR and HONEST. Unfortunately this is the WORLD that we live in. Response to WORLD of CARS 8,000 is a lot to lose when your trying to go to college. Car was bought end of July 2023 and stop working in the beginning of November.
It hasn’t been 6months . The car only work for 3months. It has been parked because it shakes and not good to drive. You sir are DISHONEST and I was there. You knew just like the other reviewers that stated that THEY have had issues with ENGINE. You are on GOOGLE REVIEW trying to save face. My daughter isn’t the only one that you did this too. You have no INTEGRITY or CHARACTER sir. PLEASE WHOEVER READS THIS. PROCEED with caution ⚠ when buying from this car lot.

I was looking at a Subaru currently on the lot at World of Cars. It has 92k miles and seems to be in great condition. I was very serious about this car; so much so that I took it to Adventure Subaru and spent $150 for them to inspect it. Imagine my surprise when they told me that the engine had been replaced. When I brought this up to Sean at World of Cars, wondering why he, the owner of the lot, had neglected to disclose this information, he dismissed my claims of his shady dealings. He claimed that the engine had fewer than 92k miles on it. I asked him how I was supposed to verify this information, not to mention how I was supposed to trust anything he told me after the fact that he neglected to disclose that the original engine had been replaced in the first place? The bottom line is that you are crazy if you buy a car from this business. His non-disclosure is as shady of a business dealing as I have ever experienced. It cost me $150 to find out, but it was money well spent. I told him that I felt very sorry for the people that couldn't afford to pre-inspect the vehicle. This business cannot be trusted. I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. I had to give world of cars a 1 star rating to be able to post this review. I'd give it a zero if I could.

I had to fix my car many times and i cost me about $4000
Plus, dealer lies to you. He said my car didnt have any accident, but i figured out my car had bad bad accident and it has a salvage title. I could not even trade it in to the dealership. This guy is a fraud. Don't ever buy car from him. Okay, I did not write details, but I will leave the details. The car had huge sound from the engine and of course I did not know much about cars. I asked the owner and he said the previous owner tuned the muffler to make the sound bigger. I drove the car for a while and went to the car brand dealership and they said my car's engine mount has to be replaced. All those annoying sound came from the engine mount not the muffler. Car terrible smoke coming out from the muffler after one year. My last piece of advice : DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR FROM WORLD OF CARS. Even if you pay more, go to the big dealership in Fayetteville.

STAY AWAY!!!! Shawn will lie to you and sell you a lemon and do nothing for you!!! He sold me a car and said it was mechanically sound but the car has so many problems I can't even drive it!! Don't even waste your money here!!! I got the extended warranty on the car and the warranty company told me the car has pre-existing conditions that the dealership covered up and they will not cover anything!!! Take your money somewhere else as Shawn is a dirty salesman and dealership!!

As for owners response he lies more!! As the car was pulled off trailer I took it for a drive the check engine light came on car started to run terrible and then the oil pressure warning light turned on said shut car off immediately !! I took it to the shop spent 500 to fix the mis fire ... The car sits in the garage cause of the no oil pressure light being on and I can't drive it ... The shop told me the motor needs to be pulled apart to see why it doesn't have oil pressure ... As for the warrenty company knowing it is a pre-existing conditions they know this becasue they have the milage I bought the car at and then the milage I told them when the problems started, which is less than 20 miles. So I wasn't speechless, Shawn just doesn't listen!! The way Shawn presented the car as a mechanically sound car at a low price I assumed when I got the car I would be able to drive it ! ! But that isn't what happened so I contacted Shawn and told him about it... He sent me rude texts saying car was fine but all the sudden its ride on the trailer must have broke it!!! As I asked him to fix it he said it's your problem now I'm done with this sale and have enough of his own problems to deal with!! The way he does business I bet he does have alot to problems to deal with !!!

We bought a 2010 GMC Acadia from this dealer. He was nice as could be until I wrote the 12,000.00 check and we drove it home to Oklahoma and parked it until the dealer sent a 30 day tag in the mail. my wife drove it a couple of times after that and the check battery light came on I had to have the alternator replaced at a cost of over 300.00 and the very next day the car started missing out and losing power till finally it left me on the side of the road I hauled the car to my mechanic and he is telling me that it has either jumped time or some crank gear broke inside the motor. Either way he has to take the engine out to see what the issue is. He says that if the engine jumped time due to bad or stretched timing chain it may have bent the valves and it may be cheaper to just replace the engine than fix everything that's bad. I called the dealer and he said it was not his problem. He did say that he mailed me the title and a check for 300.00 to cover the first payment but that was all he would do. He told me his mechanic fully checked it out and he drove it to California and back and that he would bet his name it was a good car well his name ain't worth spit cause it is going to cost me thousands to fix the car. If you do look at a car from this guy make sure you have your mechanic check it out cause you can't trust him!!!!

Do not trust this guy/owner. I did my homework and had a diagnostic done on a vehicle we were interested in. Let me tell the owner doesn't reveal everything about his vehicles. Stay away. He will try to convince you his vehicles are in top shape. Think again.

We came to look at a car and the owner said the car was clean no smoke in the interior... We arrived opened the door and it smelled and looked like a trashy motel room cigarette smoke was rank and the interior had been absolutely destroyed by dogs... Check the car carefully before considering a purchase.
