Red Sunset Park

During the migration seasons you can find literally hundreds of ducks strolling and swimming! Great fun for kids to get a bag of frozen peas and feed them! Careful of the geese though, they can sometimes get a bit testy 😉 overall as great place to relax. Covered area even for those typical Oregon rainy days!

There is a soccer and basketball field.

For those Pokémon go fans, there are gyms and pokestops for them to have fun.

Quiet place to walk as well as to take many photos with friends and family.

Lots of birds everywhere and all they leave behind. You cannot feed them though. I suggest keeping your kids away from the bushes that line the water. They are filled with rats or mice that aren't afraid anymore. You can feed those though.

Perfect spot to kill time with the kiddos. Beautiful park & new play structure. Ducks galore. Parking lot & restrooms (but I didn't check if they were open this season).

We LOVE this park, it have tons of areas to set up for a party or gathering! There are 2 play grounds, one for little kids and one for bigger kids!
The pond with the ducks is great!

Beautiful, peaceful park. Bike paths, beautiful scenery, soccer field for games, covered area for family picnics or parties. Park is very well maintained and restrooms are kept clean. Also a lovely place to BBQ

This place is like every park I grew up with combined! Playgrounds are great, restrooms are maintained, picnic areas are fantastic and always in high demand.
Pro tip: don't waste your money on the lazy green ice cream truck here. Burgerville is just up the street.

Great little park! Always lively with lots to do. Great place to take your kids. Plenty of space. Two parking lots. Southern parking lot is always full, so keep driving on Red Sunset drive to find the second.

I'm vacationing here and wanted somewhere to run, and thankfully this park was right near my hotel. It was beautiful, with a conveniently located restroom and a nice pond full of ducks. This photo does not do justice the sheer number of ducks I saw, haha. Not terribly big, but that's fine with me because I'm not from around here and was worried I'd get lost. Cute and photogenic bridges too.

Wonderful place to spend time with your family and friends, or celebrate a birthday or anniversary or whatever. Covered picnic table areas reservable for 30 bucks!
Charcoal barbecues are available as well as electric outlets.

One of my favorite parks! It's beautiful, it's a nice place for a walk. Great for kids with the lovely equipment. Ducks. Gazebo. Lots of sweet memories taking my granddaughter. She played there in the rain the other day and it was fun to watch.

Red SunSet Park: Busy, green rolling mini hills, Nature DuckPark, Hoops, 2outside grills, big ScoccerFields, 2 play structures and a cute lil bridge. If you time it right , y'all might get a treat and the ice cream truck will be there!

I come here a lot. It's always nice, even when the weather isn't so nice. You can jog, run, cycle, or walk the path encircling the park. There is a soccer and baseball area. I see people playing volleyball when it is nice out. They have sheltered areas with a big table top area. You should reserve a spot in advance. There are small tables with grills in the park too. Near the sheltered area there is a male/female bathroom. During nice days, there is always an ice cream truck.

My grandson loves the ducks and also likes smaller Play area.

A hidden gem. We found this park too have a picnic lunch and just loved what we saw. Bball courts, grilling stations, covered eating area. We saw different colors of people which was GREAT. Being Black and living in Portland there are not to many parks where there are people who look like me.

Beautiful little neighborhood park. It has paved paths, a playground, a pond, little bridges, a shelter, and a couple of sports fields. Apparently, the pond is THE stopping place for Canadian Geese!
