I went into Safeways to shop for a few items and to cool down on the 104° day. I found some gluten free dinner items. Great deals!

Ran into a High School classmate friend of mine and the lady behind me in line got so outrageously mad that I dare continue to talk to her as she was then checked out. I apologied and said it's been years since we've seen each other... and she looked at me with such hate and contempt, told me it was her turn, and told me I should wait until her break to speak to her. How terribly unhappy that poor lady must be. To get so angry about not getting enough attention from a checker in the minute that it took for her to check out her few items.
I felt like I was back in high school 🤣

Edit: I am changing my review to a 5 star after coming in and discovering both available bakery items and the self checkouts available in the early morning. Thanks so much for listening! It was a really nice surprise to be able to buy the products I like through self checkout. I'll be back often!!

Safeway Bakery has made the business decision to leave their display cases empty until 4 hours after opening time on a daily basis. They also keep their self checkout lanes closed during the early morning hours. Folks coming in after a long overnight shift like myself do not appreciate or want the forced social interaction. I work overnights for a reason.

I had 4 things on my list, and stayed with my list today. !!
I bought a beautiful Chuck Roast
3 lbs on Sale
And am going to slow cook it in my
Crock Pot for my Family. !!!!
And they gave me a Extra $5 off -- a basket discount ---on my Bill because my total was more than $25

I would have given a bad review but regardless the ignoring staff who i asked for help . There was 1 kind lady not very sure abt her name hicin i belive bakery i belive.was very kind enough to help me with my problm n was kind enough n patient to help me really u guys r lucky to have staff like her .

The floral department looked amazing and Angie went out of her way to make me a bouquet i really needed. Thank you!

They had Cherry 7Up on sale by 312 packs get two free. It took me to Safeways and one Albertsons to find the Cherry 7Up. We were grateful for the sale price. Super nice people working here and very attentive.

I love this Safeway. From the exterior, it appears to be like any other Safeway. But what sets it apart is its staff. They treat every customer with respect, whether they are wealthy or poor, housed or homeless, healthy or sick. I have been to so many other local grocery stores, and have witnessed so many employees of these establishments judge, demean, and straight up humiliate members of our houseless and mentally ill community. After I recognized the work culture of those places embraces these acts of cruelty, I won't give my business to those places. I am so thankful for the altruistic staff of this Safeway, because I have a place to shop for my family and not feel like I'm supporting an evil entity, and have my faith in mankind somewhat restored by seeing that there are still good, caring people out there. :)

Since taking over Albertsons Safeway has really improved. Lots of great coupon deals and sales. Their produce beats Fred Meyer as far as freshness. My go to grocery store now

Last minute run on Thanksgiving day and the place was packed, wall to wall people, parking filled completely yet these guys had every checkout lane up and running and moved people through the line at an amazing speed. Even with the store bursting at the seams, the managed to have the shelves well stocked with pretty much anything you needed. You can tell that this location is very well managed because it was running strong like a well oiled machine.

They had some caramel custard filled donuts that you could die for.

Safeway was awesome. I thought I had lost or that someone took money out of my bag as it was missing when I got to the register. And it was so startling to me that that might have happened. And they were just great They took my name and number, they kept looking around the store. When I got home I found it in my driveway and I made sure I called them right away and they were glad I was glad. But I definitely felt supported and that was the best

I enjoy Safeway. Being a rewards member is absolutely worth it. Lots of great savings, even during a time where so many prices are going up. I can always find what's on my list, and it's fun to try something new as well. This particular location is well kept. The property is clean and the shelves are stalked.

We had a almost 20 dollar discrepancy with our recipt, Bre our cashier was immediately helpful and apologetic. Then when the manager Darius helped us out, he listened to our concern and refunded the difference. Yall deserve some recognition, hopefully the company gives yall some too! Thank you!

Great produce department , awesome selection of organic produce.

Let me add this was the Safeway GAS STATION. But they were awesome! Super fast! The bad: gas is $4.69 per gallon! Luckily I build points fast & used 0.20¢ off. I usually have 70-90¢ but used them today any way. Super friendly staff! I was done within 5 mins of pulling in, with putting $50 in my tank.

This location is very close to home so we pop in here fairly frequently. I shop the weekly ads and get some pretty good deals. Honestly I'd shop here more if the store manager wasn't incredibly rude. I now tend to shop there in the evenings and so far I've not run into her. Literally I do not, will not go in that store during the day she's been that rude to me on 2 separate occasions.

Best grocery store chinese food in the area that I have found so far. Orange chicken and fried rice are perfectly cooked. Chow mein is meh but that is only because I am not a fan of big chunks of celery, but it is cooked fine. They also carry some items I cannot find at the cheaper stores like walmart or winco. And with the exception of like a bustling holiday weekend like thanksgiving or christmas eve, I have always been able to get in & get out via the self-checkout.
