You can't beat Rick's! Great place for drinks, food, and lottery. They have a shuffleboard, video Lotto machines, back patio, and plenty of seating! The cook Pete is amazing at what he does...and what he does is make some of the best food around! I have eaten many hamburgers, sandwiches (Ruben and what I would call a Philly) and pizza etc. My wife loves their crispy chicken sandwiches and salad. Very reasonably priced!! Love Rick's!

Definitely a good place to grub. The burger and shrimp basket are both delicious.

When I travel, I like to try a reuben in the town that I am to comoare from others that I have tried.
Rick's Roadhouse Tavern rabks in my all time top three.
They use corned beef and not pastrami. The serving size was just right.
I will make this stop everytime I am in town.

We roll in with 12 people at 6:00 pm and they were able to take great care of us. Excellent service, food was great especially the clam chowder and fish & chips. Great experience.

Rick’s Roadhouse has re-opened! I was here a year ago and it’s greatly improved. Very clean - home town friendly - one of the best burgers I ever had. Margaritas? Excellent. Don’t miss this dive bar. Only opened right now Tuesday - Saturday 3-10pm. Worth the stop

Great!!!!! Mushroom and Swiss burger with a side of yummy fries. The food was really good. I will be going back again. The food was enjoyed by other patrons as well, as I had asked a couple sitting at one of the tables nearest to entrance. Fun place to watch 70, 80, and 90s music video while you eat and drink a beer or something a little stronger.

Awesome atmosphere. The owner/bar tender was to the point, the cook did awesome. This French dip is amazing!!!!

The bartender/owner is a great, no-no sense , welcoming host. The patio is a perfect place to get into some interesting conversations with locals, and they have a shuffleboard table. After we had been there once, they treated us like regulars.

Cute little sports bar with a ton of TVs, food and drinks. Place looks newly remodeled and is super clean inside! Recommend!!

The owner Anthony and the bartender Alexis, are AMAZING. You can tell Anthony has a true love for this place and what he does and it shows in every aspect of the place. They are the kindest people I’ve run into in a while. Their food was amazing and their drinks were awesome as well. If you have the chance to come here, I would highly recommend! (21+)

They're mushroom Swiss burger is the best around

Service and drinks were awesome. They got a shuffleboard table and even some lottery if you're feeling lucky. New owner Anthony is a stand up guy. Go on in if you're ever in Rockaway beach looking for a good ole down home bar and eatery.

Great dive, always good burgers

I have a soft spot in my heart for small town, unpretentious drinking establishments where people are kind, the staff works hard and local regulars hang out, and where you can get a drink, a hearty burger, perfect fries and a nice side salad. Rick's is that sort of place. Five stars.

Great food, good people, and always a good time playing shuffleboard, especially Thursdays.

Superb. First things first, this place will not be for everyone. No kids are allowed so it's adults only. Every now and then, that's something to behold when you are traveling as two adults. We visited on a Thursday afternoon after arriving in town and walking around to find somewhere for a drink. It's the kind of bar that could be intimidating to some. Regulars sit at the bar and go about their day the way they always do. The regulars and staff can best be described as 'salt of the earth' that you find in many small towns around the world. Engage with them and you find they are full of charm and wit. Ignore them and of course, they will ignore you as you go about your business just as they do theirs. We chose to engage and drink a couple of beers at the bar. After a while (and after seeing some super food pas by) we decided to eat here and so glad we did. The French dip i tried is the best i've ever had......hands down! The place looks like a bit of a dive bar both inside and out. Don't be intimidated, go in and chat with the bar staff and locals...they don't bite and the experience will leave you better for it. Great place, wouldn't hesitate to return!

Exceeded my expectations for a old dive bar. One of the only places to eat in Rockaway Beach. The Beach Burger was amazing. Great grumpy service which made the experience less touristy. Went 3 times in 3 days! Will come back again. Back patio was really nice and they are dog friendly. Very locally owned!
