We were sad that Dr. Wheeler was leaving since we’ve been seeing her since my GSD could fit in my hand, but Dr. Ferguson made the transition to a new Doctor easy and my dog loved her. Her and the other staff always make us feel welcomed and helps relieve any anxiety me and my dog have. Thank you so much! Love you guys!

What a wonderful experience I encountered today on our first visit. The front desk greeted me and my dog Franklin with a welcome and a smile. We quickly went to the exam room where the vet tech was so sweet with my nervous 3yr. old Lhasa Apso. The vet was thorough and kind to Franklin, I think he liked her as much as I did. Back to the front and a warm goodbye from the front desk. Franklin and I definitely think they deserve five stars!

I had to make an unexpected visit to Mt. Hood Pet Medical when my dog became very ill during our vacation in Oregon. This was the only local vet willing to squeeze us in so that my dog could receive timely care. The receptionists were kind and professional and Dr. Ferguson provided outstanding care for our pet. She was kind and compassionate and explained every step she took, providing clear estimates for each care plan as we proceeded with treatment. My sweet dog regained her zest and was back on her feet within a couple of days. I am so thankful for the excellent care we received from the doctors and staff.

Amazing service! I brought my sick senior dog in because this was the only place I could get her seen same day. We unfortunately had to euthanize her. The staff were very loving and caring during this process. We had unlimited time to say goodbye to our dear sweet Harper. The end of life services were beautiful. The whole staff were amazing, from the front desk to when we picked up our urn. Thank you for helping us through one of the toughest times.

I have anxious dogs and Mt.hood staff was amazing and accommodating to them. I love them for this because I’m learning that unlike the last vet I don’t have to let my dog get traumatized to get the care that he needs. In fact, they were so skilled they didn’t have any issues with him the way his past vet did and said they would take things slow so my dog can get used to them. I think he likes them a lot and they will be our vet as long as we are in OR. They are worth every penny. Thank you guys from Barkley and Oakley!

Great staff, great experience, relaxed, my dog doesn’t mind at all going to the vet here 🐾🥰 they did great treating his yeasty ears in the summer (he’s a lab and a water dog bound to happen) def continuing care with this team! Thank you!

Everyone was super friendly. I didn’t wait long in the room before they came to examine my cat. Dr. Lackey and the vet tech did a great job making sure my cat felt comfortable and safe during the exam. Would recommend.

The whole office was fantastic. The day before I called to get my new kitten in because my normal vet said they couldn’t see him until he was 8 weeks even though there was a current concern. Mt Hood Pet got us right in and did such a thorough exam and made us feel at ease.

What a smooth and efficient Wellness exam we had on our first visit to Mt Hood Pet Medical. With the mysterious Respiratory Illness invading the K9 world, I was worried about how the arrival process would be handled and they had us weighed in and in our exam room immediately with Tara our technician taking control of the interview and medical records. Dr Wheeler came in and she was all smiles and loving hugs to Harry my 1yr old AussieDoodle. My long list of questions ranging from neutering to the Un-know illness were all answered with concern and clarity. We were able to settle the fees right in the room and we left feeling safe and comfortable knowing that Dr. Wheeler and Tara enjoyed our visit and they cared about us as well. absolutely love Mt.Hood Pet Medical , I love the staff, there’s never a wait time and I get to go into the room with my dogs which calms my nerves!! I see Dr.Megan Gottschalk and she is absolutely amazing my dogs love her. She’s very knowledgeable and keeps me informed of any problem that my girls might have and leads me to the proper way to get them fixed! I never leave with a bad experience.

This office is amazing. I called at 8am with a emergency for my dog, they got me in at 10am! As a first time patient. They were so caring, made my dog and myself feel at ease and came up with a great plan for my dog. They will now be my new forever vet.

What an awesome vet! I'm new to town and was able to get in next day with a sick elder dog. Everyone was ridiculously nice! From the check-in crew, tech, & the vet herself. She was so sweet with my old guy, I loved that she had multiple care possibilities and started with antibiotics rather than jumping straight to the pricey stuff. That's unheard of nowadays. Definitely won a happy new client!!

I brought in a "new to me" sweet but terrified dog for necessary vaccines, etc, and the staff and vet were wonderful! They gave time for my pup, and didn't rush to get us pushed through the appointment and i appreciate that tremendously! They cleared the hall and "hid" so we could leave without my sweet Bjorn puppy shutting down. Thank you Mt Hood!! 😊 ❤🐾

Not many places are willing to treat an anxious American Akita and my poor girl had had a bad experience with her last vet so she was a bit nervous for her first trip to this new place, the staff and vets here however quickly eased my fears and my dog's. They treated her with kindness and quickly won her over with a few well placed treats and pets! I'm so happy to have an understanding and sympathetic team to care for my hundred pound baby, especially when she's not feeling well. Will be bringing the rest of my babies here in the future!

This place take’s absolutely wonderful care of my dog. The staff is very caring and everything feels very personal. I highly recommend this vet office if your looking for one. I have a temporary disability and my dog is dog aggressive and they’ve been able to see us and give us the extra help we need even when I can’t hold my own dogs leash!!

Great experience for our 1st time. Dr. Was very knowledgeable about what would help our situation with our cat. He had a great well check and we will definitely be repeat patients.

My grown children and I have used this Medical center for pets for many years. I've been so happy with their care, professionalism, and their ability to always to make our pets comfortable. The care is constant and trustworthy.
That's my old note that I forgot to post.
My last visit was with a 1 day old kitten of my daughter's cat. It was not nursing and seemed so slow. The staff very gently spoke with me about her. The vet found she had multiple issues and was not going to flourish, even if we fed and cared for her. She helped me make the call to my daughter. She agreed with the vet to let her go. I had carried her in the car inside my shirt to keep her warm. With all hope. The vet let me sit with her for half an hour to wish her well as she passed over the rainbow bridge. I then left her in their gentle care.

These employees truly care about your pet and their jobs. Extremely helpful when I came in on crutches with my anxious Jack Russel mix. They answered all our questions, gave precise honest answers, and upfront realistic quotes. And very knowledgeable.
So glad I found them!!! My daughter's friend suggested them. Plenty of parking. Long counter upon entry and many people to greet and take care of you. 🐶❤

I was able to get in the same day with my pup Jadie. She has an ear infection and everyone was soooo kind. The vet and tech were down on the floor with her, trying to sooth her. I am always so impressed bringing my animals here. I won’t go anywhere else.
