Ralphie's Cafe Italiano

This place is so cute! Cozy and friendly!! Warm atmosphere and the crew is awesome! It was a long wait to get a table but well worth it! The drinks were good and the food amazing! Large portions.. very good prices too!

First time at Ralphies. If you know my reviews, normally first time at Italian i would have veal saltimbocca but not an option here. Which was perfectly fine.

This place is OG family style Italian. Huge portions and old school Italian.

The hostess was excellent. No resy or call ahead but she found us a high top. Perfect. The server was crazy good. Made the drinks and honestly should probably be working a high steak house. He was that good.

Started with stuffed clams because they had OG stuffed clams. Excellent! Great stuffing and plenty of clams.

We had a lasagne, carbonara and rigatoni genovese. Again...portions are huge and flavors were very solid across the board. Red sauce was not too sweet but nice balance. Carbonnara was really good!

This place is a hidden gem although it was packed so many peeps are clearly aware. Lol. I am just late to the game.

If you like Traditional Italian Food. Ralphies Cafe Italiano in Salem N.H. is the place to go!

We went on a Saturday afternoon and the place is normally packed for Lasagna special. But, in the summer it's less crowded.

Sat down to some fresh Italian bread. Started with Italian wedding soup, it was delicious. Packed with mini meatballs, chicken, carrots, kale and a little pasta. Broth fantastic not salty like most restaurants.

Main course, my wife had shrimp sautéed w/ fresh basil and plum tomatoes in a butter and garlic sauce over penne. Shrimp were plentiful and cooked just right. Nice and tender. I had the Broccoli Rabe Naples with sausage fresh sautéed rabe w/ butter, garlic and herbs tossed w/ penne. Always a fan of pasta and broccoli rabe! The sausage made it even better!
Portions are generous so we each boxed half our meals to save room for dessert.

We shared a piece of Belgium Chocolate Mousse cake. It was made with a rich dark chocolate which I loved!
My wife is more a milk chocolate kinda girl.(but had no problem helping me scarf it down...lol)

Ralphies has a nice family vibe. They play the Italian crooners in the back ground which adds to the atmosphere. Final bill with tip $75.

3/2 - Visited here again for the veal and linguini. It was delicious and a special thanks to waiter Matt and the kitchen staff for draining the pasta water. As I say, I want sauce not soups. Your sauce is so much better when it is not watered down.
12/31 - Visited tonight and it reminded me of something I forgot to mention, they do not drain the pasta well. I pulled approximately 1/4 cup of water from my meal. I know a little is unavoidable, I want sauce on my pasta, not soup. But, otherwise the meal was good… if only they could drain the water. The waiter, Mathew was very helpful as well.

This is a great place for Italian food. Everything was hot (too hot in fact, had to let it cool for a moment). But, it is rare to get food that is not piping hot. I got the special, Spaghetti Carbonara and it was delicious. The other benefit is that it is loaded with garlic (aka the Stinking Rose) and tasted amazing. Unfortunately, I had to take one star away because I waited what felt like a long time. Overall a great place with great food. I will definitely be back.

Eat Here!!! If you want some of the best Italian food I have ever had, come to Ralphies. The chicken and veal parm is absolutely amazing. The portions are huge, you will have left overs. The sauce is perfect. The staff is friendly and on point. You must take a trip here!

This place isn’t shy about its portion size, and I love it! The food is good quality and tasty. I got their Cheese Tortellini in Tomato Basil Sauce (loved the sauce!!), which comes with a soup/salad. The vibe of the restaurant is cozy and lively. And our waitress was friendly. The place can get quite crowded on weekends, so maybe call ahead to ask/confirm/book a table. Overall, would recommend and suggest coming on an empty belly for a fulfilling experience.

Skip the Tuscan Village and come here for authentic Italian food! Service was top-notch, and the food was definitely homemade Italian family kitchen style. Delicious bread, pasta, homemade Italian dressing, and steak bomb. Our server was super friendly and attentive to us. I am already looking forward to the the leftovers!

Came on a whim. Food was delicious and my martini was delicious. My salad was fresh and tasty. It was very busy in a Friday night but got a high top table quickly so that was a nice surprise not to have to wait. Will definitely be back!

We love the food here. Lasagne is amazing, chicken parm is amazing, their meat sauce is amazing. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food u get. (It's enough for like 3 meals) The only thing that needs to change is them making the restaurant bigger to fit more people

Mac n cheese bites are great and the gnocchi is one of the best I have ever eaten. Will absolutely eat here again.

Our experience here was phenomenal and this restaurant came highly recommended. Our waitress was friendly and attentive throughout the lunch service. Each of us ordered something different off their menu and all of our meals were delicious with leftovers brought home. We will definitely be visiting this restaurant again.

If you are ever in Salem, NH, this is the spot. Old school subs, fresh ingredients, and the bread and oil outstanding. The staff was great, drinks were strong, and the food was great. Huge portions, too.

my experience here was great. first time in. went here with a quick lunch with my mom and we had an amazing time. the portions were absolutely huge, photos do not do it justice. we were able to eat a full meal afterwards and able to shar with others. great place.

Had the Shrimp Angelica and substituted it with chicken. DELICIOUS ... can't say enough one of the best meals I've eaten out in a long time. Service was spot on and atmosphere is great... highly recommend

Fast service and really perfect martini by Emily. It seemed like everyone was having a nice time. For dinner I ordered the chicken scampi which came with a big bowl of the most satisfying (not too salty!) chicken orzo and meatball soup with big chunks of veg along with a half loaf of bread, all for $20. Can’t beat it

We love Ralphie's! Huuuuge portions, fantastic flavor. I mean, they bring you a whole loaf of bread to start! I always get the shrimp fra diavlo. Perfect amount of spicy. The meatballs are bigger than a baseball! If we lived closer, we would go every week. Be prepared for a bit of a wait. It's a charming and small place :) it is worth it. This picture was after I ate until I was full.

Went with a group from work to honor a retiree with a lunch at Ralphie's. The portions were huge. The food was tasty. The service was friendly.

Idk what else to say about them. Honestly it's one of the best food experiences I've had since moving to this area from the Deep South a few months ago. I had their tortellini in a tomato herb cream sauce and it was fantastic and the portion MORE than filling. I had to have a cannoli anyway which was SUPER good.

I would highly recommend eating here to anyone in the area.

What a treat , love this place...where else you gonna get Italian style tripe , loved it...they were very generous with the Italian bread...key to enjoying tripe..meatballs were sooo good! Just like nana's....try the jack frost martini like a delicious piece of art!!

I sat in the parking lot waiting for the rest of our party and the smell was incredible! Well, no surprise so was the food. Chicken parm and eggplant parm w/penne smothered in sauce was a 10!
Our server Gail was awesome. Absolutely exceptional and Ralphies is very fortunate to have Gail on the floor keeping everyone happy. The host was also very welcoming and pleasant.
