Food was great! The server was AWESOME! He was seriously the best one the entire time in town and in general. We were there for my husband's bday and our anniversary and he was just so nice. My steak tacos came out weird and he noticed and sent them right back.

Everything tasted amazing. My husband got chicken enchiladas and said it's one of the best he's had. The blood bags are fun too. I wish I remembered this server's name and if the restaurant reads this all I know is he's been sober for three years (not sure if that even narrows it down)

Placed was busy...but the service and food were great. We were promptly seated. I ordered the steak tips medium well, with refried beans and quac, and they nailed it. Cheesy curly fries were delicious. Clean environment. We traveled from Boston and would definitely visit this place again if we return to Salem.

Sat at the bar. The food was great, and the portions were huge. We had enough to take home. The tacos were the biggest I've had. The bartender was good, and the drinks and atmosphere were ok. There is no blood in the bag, apparently its only during October.

Great Mexican food, our server Kendra G was great! The drinks had a bit to much mix for my taste, that’s why only 4 stars 🌮

This place was amazing! The bartender was really funny and the energy was a vibe at the bar. The chicken tacos were incredible. The margaritas had fun flavors and were some of the best I had. After walking around Salem MA all day it was a great find. I would definitely go back they gave you a lot of food too! Service was so fast and the atmosphere was great.

The food was great. The service was great. It was an all-around great experience. My burrito did fall apart, but it fell apart in a way that made it into a burrito bowl. It still tasted amazing. Will definitely come back again. 😁

Couldn't decide on an appetizer so we got 3! Highly recommended the avocado fries...the dipping sauce is addictive.
One drink turned to two and we tried to eat entrées but the portions were huge so we took them home for dinner and the next days lunch. Flavorful and inventive. Just what was needed before the museums.

OMG!!! The food here is super giant, super amazing! Check out the pics I posted, it’s a chicken fajita, tres amigos and Al pastor taco. You could just share one meal and have left overs. Grey bar, great beers and ciders on tap. Outside dinning, inside dinning with great atmosphere. Food comes out quick, friendly staff. Go here! Run here! You will not be disappointed.

Visiting the area from south Florida. Added Howling Wolf to my itinerary based off their menu and their reviews. Wow, I was not let down! The food is absolutely AMAZING, incredible flavor. I ordered the Howling Burrito and my friend ordered the Wing Fiesta quesadilla and we shared our meals. We also ordered a side of queso. Everything was delicious, there’s nothing I would change. The jalapeño ranch that came with the quesadilla was to die for.

My sister and I were visiting Salem and stopped here for lunch. It was great food. It was very busy every worker seemed to be keeping up well. Our server Ben was fantastic. He was friendly, tended well to us and our order. Also conversed briefly after taking notice to our tattoos.

Great place worth visiting in Salem even if just for drinks and chips. Bartenders are great and super friendly, as well as the servers. Cozy bar area and nice dining area. Chips, salsa, queso blanco are great! We also loved the fajitas and tacos! Would definitely return if ever back in town!

Food is always delicious ! And the staff are all so nice. Love the music they play and overall vibe. It can be a little wait if you go during busy times but it’s worth the wait !

My daughter and I ate here while on a mini vacation to the area and the food was delicious! We went around 3pm for a late lunch/early dinner, it was very quiet and the staff was super friendly!

Was visiting Salem and a local recommended this restaurant. I'm glad we listened as the food and service were excellent. The serving portions justified the pricing.

My favorite Mexican food restaurant in town so far. Food is fantastic, wait staff is great, drink solutions are good, and food is made quickly. The fajita chicken chimichunga is incredible and worth every cent, but the Howling Wolf Burrito is also great. Tacos are good, but the beef is very greasy (too much for me to eat) so I would recommend a different protein. Their salsa is a touch spicey, not that I mind, but others might. Rice and beans are both great!
Atmosphere and vibes are good. Inside can get noisy with music and people, outside can be noisy due to the fire department across the street.

We walked in here late on a Sunday night being the obnoxious last-minute people of the evening. Our server was friendly, fast, and attentive. We didn't feel rushed at all even though we came in late, and we put in our orders quickly. There were chips and salsa on our table right away, the salsa was really good. We ordered the Howlah as an app, which was a combo platter of taquitos, chicken wings, avocado fries and bacon wrapped stuffed jalapenos. Everything was so good! I ordered Tres Amigos, which included mango chili sauce grilled shrimp, carne asada, and verde lime grilled chicken with rice and beans. The portion was enormous, I wanted to eat it all but couldn't finish it. (It made for a great leftover lunch the next day along with some leftovers from the app platter) My husband ordered a chimichanga and a single taco, he devoured both. We each had 2 margaritas, I had the classic and my husband ordered one spicy margarita and one classic. Margaritas were excellent! It was quiet because it was late Sunday night in March, but the art on the walls and the atmosphere was friendly and inviting. We would definitely come here again for some good Mexican food in Salem!

The service wasn't the best but I'm still giving 5 stars because the food was amazing!! We got the steak fajita chimi and chicken enchiladas. Margaritas were good as well. If you're in Salem and love Mexican check them out!!

Was a super busy night our waiter did a great job managing his inside and outside tables.
Food was great! Margaritas were even better!
And they had super cool Halloween themed drinks!
Definitely worth checking out!

Tacos, tacos galore! We miss the North Andover location and made the trip to Salem for some great food. The chicken chimichanga was amazing with the cheese sauce on top. The shrimp and al pastor tacos were good, but a little dry and kicked up to 10 with some Verde sauce from the kitchen upon request. 3 tacos for $12 is a great deal. We can't wait to go back!

Got takeout from here while in town for a con. Everything was delicious, highly recommend carne asada fries!
