Thai Zap

Little gem of a place in Salisbury, not far from Blue Ocean Music Hall where we were headed to see an ABBA concert. This family business has very friendly service, a dining area that can seat 20 people and a clean, well kept lobby. We ordered the chicken drunken noodles and crispy chicken basil. Both were delicious. Will go back again!

We visited Thai Zap in Salisbury this afternoon. What a treat! The food was AMAZING from the Crab Rangoon (the best we've never had), Steamed Dumplings, and Tom Yum soup, to the Jumbo Shrimp Pad Thai, Red Curry Chicken, Steamed Noodles, and Garlic Salmon. Even the Thai Tea was exceptional.

First time trying Thai Zap this week & since I’ve ordered takeout from here 3 nights in a row. Hands down my new favorite go-to! Each time, I was blown away with how fresh and cooked to perfection each item was. Their online ordering was very easy to navigate and customize dishes (protein, rice, & spice). Highly recommended!

it may be just a little hole in wall place set way back from the street, but omg the food is spectacular.. i am obsessed with their money bags i must have had them every day for the last 2 weeks.. except sun the only day they close...

I've lived in town for the last eight years and driven by this place every day and never considered trying this place. I finally did about 5 months ago, and haven't regretted it once in all the times I've returned since then. Food is excellent and as spicy as you want it. Try the Tom Kha or the Yellow Curry with Chicken! So many other goodies, too! The staff are friendly and the service excellent. Try it. You'll love it!

After hearing great things about Thai Zap we tried take out for the first time. The Pad Thai and the House Fried Rice were both tasty. We will definitely be back to try more menu items.

OMG, best Thai food ever, perfection, the service was personable and fast. The place was small but neat and a lot of online to go orders coming in the while time. The food outweighed any negatives by a landslide.. if you like Thai, you have to give this place a try!

This place is fantastic! You wouldn't notice it if you didn't drive by every day, and even so you probably wouldn't think a hole-in-the-wall Thai place at the end of quiet shopping strip would be any good - but I promise you won't be disappointed. The salmon is of excellent quality, and I absolutely loved it with fried rice and green curry. The fried tofu and steamed dumplings were awesome as well. As a bonus, the service is great - can't get such good, fresh-tasting food this quick in too many places. Definitely the best Thai food I've personally had on the east coast, and I would argue this is the best Asian-style food you'll find in the North Shore. ENJOY!!

Best Thai food around - no other business can compare!! The tofu Pad Thai is spectacular!!! I guarantee you will not be disappointed 😋

We ate at the restaurant and the food was good. Everything seemed fresh and tasted delicious. Also, the employees were very nice and they did a great job. I recommend this restaurant and we'll be back when we are in the area.

This is the bomb! the food is amazing, well worth it. Beef Basil!!! oh man!! gotta order it spicy. its delicious definitely will come again on my next visit from Philadelphia PA. Keep in mind this golden treasure Thai Zap is hidden and can easily be missed if you are not a local. love love the place just wish they dine in.

so so so yummy, i love the iced coffee and the phō. extremely reasonably priced and i usually have enough to bring home at eat later.

Best Thai take out around. I need to order from here more often and skip some of the other places that have gone downhill after COVID.. Fried rice and Pad Thai are full of veggies and your protein of choice. Fresh and delicious.

Visiting Salisbury and found this highly rated Thai restaurant online. Fresh, flavorful, delicious. We ordered Door Dash delivery and it arrived piping hot and thoughtfully packaged. Real care goes into this food. If you order spicy, be assured that spicy is what you will get. So refreshing! Wonderful! We had the Spicy Pad Thai, Massaman Curry, and Yellow Curry. Highly recommend these dishes. Would love to sample every item on the menu. Would return to charming Salisbury just to eat here. Thank you!

Is there a way to give this establishment 8 or 10 stars? Even after a change of ownership many years later Thai Zap of Salisbury never disappoints. Words fail. One has to experience it for oneself. Simply an array of divinely crafted prepared foods that bring the authentic tastes of Thailand 🇹🇭 right to your local neighborhood. Do not let the cute aged cottage-like style building deter you in any way. It's got a cozy and bit romantic vibe inside and the staff are some of the kindest people you will meet. Whether you decide to take out or eat in be prepared to be wowed. Generous, gracious, perfected Thai food that will leave you so grateful for the experience. Kop Khun Ka. 💜

Food was absolutely delicious. Everything on the sampler platter came crispy. The drunken noodle was awesome, the meat and veggies in it were cooked perfectly. I ordered pickup and then realized my husband had taken our car, and so ThaiZap sent someone to bring me the food. Super appreciative!!

Delicious food! Very impressed! Staff were welcoming and friendly . The food was great. I ordered take out at the restaurant and it was ready in less than ten minutes (3 items). Look forward to try again.
For vegetarian entre- it would be appreciated if they will also have soy nuggets/protein options besides tofu.

We are well traveled and try a LOT of restaurants. They had BY FAR the best Crab Rangoon. ALL of the food is FRESH and the vegetables are cooked perfectly. Great service as well. They accommodated my family with 5 kids easily and treated us like family!
I have never written a review before but we were SERIOUSLY impressed with this food so I had to!!!
We will be back… A LOT!!!
