We came to try the cinnamon rolls and they're GREAT. They are nicely made and perfectly sweet & cinnamonyy, without being sickely sweet. A fitting drizzle of frosting on top complements the doughy part well, they are not inundated with frosting. This roll is also a perfect mix between the cinnamon 'roll' & 'bun', not too hard, not too soft-truer to the roll on the outside, then a softer bun style insde. To me they wonderful rolls, what I'm looking for when I get them and I will go back for more.

We also got the cinnamon poptart. The poptart is a real treat too. Cinnamon & sugar filled, larger, flatter, rectangular turnover-ish style pastry. It is cooked to perfection. Not burned, doesn't have the taste of the pan or oil-but is a wonderful, thicker, doughy, yet delicate crust. Truly a delight. Better take on kellogs poptarts.

Yumm. Love how they keep adding to their selections! Their focaccia bread was amazing. Muffins are delicious! So happy they now have bakery pizza and I hope they bring more (but can you lower the price a little?) High quality, delicious food and love supporting our local bakeries! Keep adding more yummy things please 👏🏼

Great local business. We go here several times a month and the quality is always outstanding. Friendly staff. The cinnamon buns are always a crowd pleaser.

This is one of the greatest new shops in downtown Wakefield. The bread is divine and the cookie is massive! The price was extremely low for the fantastic food. Service was excellent with friendly workers and I recommend it to all the bread lovers out there.

Hands down the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had, and it's because of the bread. Grilled to perfection on the outside, the crusty french bread on the sandwich is exactly what you expect, great chew and exceptional flavor! I had the sandwich to go and I am sad I didn't buy a loaf of bread at the same time... Next time!

Got two loaves of bread yesterday - reasonably priced, fresh, and so good. They also had a nice assortment of cold drinks (I got a canned shrub). Can't wait to try the cinnamon rolls, croissants, and sandwiches!

I stopped in for the first time a couple days ago and purchased a loaf of multi grain bread. It was the best bread I've eaten in a long time! Cookies were delicious, they also sell breakfast sandwiches and other items.

This womxn owned bakery made my morning today with their delicious blueberry muffin right from the oven. These folks work hard and it pays off!!

I've only tried about half of their products so far, but each one out does the other. The trail mix cookies are the perfect pick-me-up or grab-n-go snack. All of the morning pastries are filled with yummy goodness and the breads taste like my grandma's. The service is always spot on, with laughter, kindness, and lots if knowledge if I need/want it. Highly recommend it!

OMG! The breads are AMAZING! They make a variety types of bread, that I believe changes daily.
The Bread baker, Lauren, does an amazing job with textures and moistened. You can get soft crust sandwich bread or a nice hard crust with nice moist, dense, chewy body inside. The Maine Grains is one of my favorites, made from grain grown and milled in Maine.
Often rye bread can be too dry, hers is nice and moist inside with a crunchy crust. She makes a sourdough rye that is even tastier.
Sourdough, French, raisin-nut, olive, whatever type, size or shape, they make it.
Don't miss out on their huge cinnamon rolls. Powerhouses. Sweet and savory muffins .
Do yourself a favor and try their baked goods.
I am so happy there is somewhere to go around here for a good loaf of bread now.

Always tasty sandwiches, and we just love their honey lavender cookies. Just wish their hours were a bit different. Open later in the morning and close super early. Easy to miss out on all the goodness.

I love everything about the Bread Shop...the breads (of course), the cookies, the scones and the muffins. Today, I got the broccoli cheddar soup and it was packed with fresh veggies and even came with a slice of fresh bread. I went there to support a local business but will continue to go for the outstanding quality.

My wife and I go to Bread Shop at least once a month, the sourdough is amazing! Sandwiches are on point as well. Loving the beverage selections with nitro teas and coffee. Just found out the shop sells pizza dough as well, which we'll try out this week.

The name doesn't get across that this is as close as you might find to a real French boulangerie between Boston and Montreal. They get a lot of their attention for their excellent cookies and pastries, but the real triumph is the French bread - fresh every day, perfect, and only perfect while it's fresh - the rich texture, the complexity and depth of flavor - the kind of baguette that reminds you why people even bother with baguettes. It's the kind of bread you bake early in the morning, and then, come 1 o'clock, you think, "Well, I've accomplished everything in this world that is worth accomplishing, time to go home." Which is why it closes at 1 o'clock I guess.

This is a place is as devoid of pretension as you'll ever find - a room on a corner with a rack of bread on it and a counter with some cookies - the skill and talent of the bakers speaks for itself. It's worth it to drive a significant distance to get this bread fresh if you love good fresh bread.

Some of the best cinnamon buns I've ever had! Get there early because they do sell out. So glad Wakefield has this amazing bakery!

I totally understand how they stay in business despite their limited hours - it's THAT amazing. They don't need to cater to the public's schedule. They are worth you catering to their schedule. Take off work, do whatever you need to do to get yourself some of this glutenous goodness ASAP

Delicious bread, fresh baked. Always a new pastry to try as well. They keep adding products like coffee, grilled cheese. I'm excited to see this place keep growing. Friendly staff is bonus too!

Im now on a carb only diet and lovin’ it! Thanks The Bread Shop! The spicy olive ciabatta might be the best bread ive ever had. I bought it for soup but never got around to making the soup. Straight bread and butter for this guy!

Delicious fresh baked bread and baked goods. They go above and beyond to make sure you get what you need. This is my favorite place to buy bread and they make the most amazing cereal scones!!!

We have been buying various breads from The Bread Shop for the past few years. This year we tried their stollen.

This was done with some caution. My German grandmother baked at Christmas, exactly as you would expect a German grandmother would. There were piles of cookies, cakes, breads, buns, and stollen. It would be a sacrilege in my family to say that anyone baked anything as well as my grandmother did. But, The Bread Shop’s stollen transported me back to being a kid sitting at the table in my grandmother’s kitchen. It’s that good.
