Millstone Farm Market

We stopped there for the very first time yesterday. Even though we have driven by it for years! We got pastry and coffee and checked the store out. what we bought was excellent. The store seems to have a great variety of deli foods sandwiches, etc. And their butcher counter was amazing. The staff at the butcher counter and at the cash register were extremely nice and extremely pleasant. Will definitely be going back. Oh by the way, the pastries were presented in hard, clear plastic containers, it made it so easy to eat during our drive, as opposed to some places that wrap it in plastic wrap that you can never get open and the crumbs, get all over!

Fantastic local grocery store with a great meat counter and other homemade items

I love this place - everything I get from the deli is amazingly good... so far... short ribs, chuck beef, pasture raised chicken... Super friendly staff, great local vegetables. Highly recommend!

A true gem in the South Deerfield, Sunderland area. If you need it, they have it. Wonderful deli, chicken, and other specialty items. General grocery items, great bread, fruit, vegetables, and I could go on and on. When I need a few items, this is where I go. Even when I doubt they will have something, they have it. When I want some sliced turkey it is the only place in town. And, the people that own it and those that work there are fantastic.

1) Although this is a market, their deli is absolutely off the charts good. The roast beef sandwich is piled high with super high quality meat (and is also ~6 bucks). Pastrami sandwich is also extremely good (I'd ask for it thinly sliced since by default it's a thicker slices.) 2) For some reason there's also a butcher-shop level selection of pretty high quality steaks and meats in here, and the prices on those are really quite good. For things such as bread/milk you can expect to pay more than at a bigger market, of course. 3) The locally-made whole milk (in the small room off to the side when you come in) is amazing. 4) Staff super friendly every time. 5) Have some goodies on the side such as in-store made pulled pork, potato/egg salads, and local produce.

Really great little market. Lots of local, fresh, and organic foods. They even have a small gluten free section including gluten free flour, pasta, and bread. The deli has a lot of options. The price of packaged food is more expensive than larger grocery stores so I usually just buy meats and veggies and save packaged good for the larger stores. Super great staff !

I've been going to the Millstone for my entire life. I buy my vegetables, meats, milk, and other basic grocery needs from there a majority of the time if I'm nearby. Everything like vegetables, eggs, milk and some more eclectic products like homemade soaps, chocolates, and other things can be found fresh all year round. Meats are more a grey zone since some of them are sourced from Hatfield meat company, such as their bacon.

Overall this place has the friendliest staff and have been amazingly helpful my whole life.

Pros:
- Easy access to local products including obviously produce
- Relatively inexpensive
- Amazingly friendly staff
- Decent amount of parking
- Accepts all forms of payment

Cons:
- Not always locally sourced proteins.

I love this place! Homemade pies and cookies are delicious. Deli is great as are the prepared foods. Love the fresh, local fruits and veggies. Always stop when I'm in the area.

If you can remember the Stateline Potato Chops...this place has them. Check out the Deli/ Meat Section...your mouth will be watering until that thick steak is on the grill...just don't devour all the potato chips before your steak.
These guys/gals are determined to fix you right up.

We called for last minute s'mores ingredients and received a prompt answer and friendly greeting. They had exactly what we needed! Upon arrival, we were treated to the delightful array of treats and even convenient dinner and lunch selections that awaited inside. The cashier's smile and cheerful demeanor brightened our day! (She even knew the names of customers in the store and in the phone, remarkable! )

I just recently moved to Sunderland and today I wanted to check out Millstone. It was so cute inside and everyone was SO friendly! All of the food I bought was very yummy as well :). I will definitely be coming back a lot!

Beautiful produce and meats. The guy behind the meat counter was knowledgeable and helpful. I bought some ribeyes, tomatoes from their farm, some nice hearty local bread. Sounds like a nice meal to me.

I cook for a living, their sirloin filets and tri tip steaks are off the hook. Salt, pepper, little butter in a cast-iron pan perfect. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Deli will special order something if you request it. For a tiny hole in the wall they do a great job.

Millstone has a great selection of locally grown and crafted products, including produce, breads and other baked goods, coffee beans, pierogies, meat, dairy, eggs, and candies. Their packaged goods (boxes of pasta, peanut butter, canned goods, that sort of thing) are more limited and a little pricier than a big chain grocery store, but they do carry most of the basics. The meat counter in particular has a great selection of high quality, reasonably priced items. I don't even buy bacon anywhere else anymore.

This is my favorite deli in Sunderland. Old stone building .The best owner and workers in the Valley. Fresh produce and meats local craft items handmade soap to chocolate covered coffee beans.. I go there all the time for the fair prices and variety.

I love little markets like this. You don't have to tread a mile to get your groceries. Great little meat and vegetable departments. Reminiscent of the old corner deli/markets I grew up with.

I buy my cold cuts especially roast beef they are reasonably priced cheaper than the supermarket the product is fresh home-baked I also buy my meat packs they have different meat packs you can buy for your freezer their store is a typical Country store you'll find all sorts of neat things to buy Jeff owns the store and he is really a pleasant guy who's willing to help you with questions if you have trouble finding a certain item he will certainly find it for you or direct you to the place he knows that carries update. The owner of Mike's Maze is the new owner of Millstone. I've heard it's amazing with new improvements to the store,same great sandwiches and homemade soups and extended hours Monday thru Sunday. I don't think they're closed on all the holidays like the old owners . A store you need to check out if you're in Sunderland.
