Absolutely worth a visit, the view is stunning! The coast is beautiful, beach is extremely clean, and it just feels refreshing.

I decided to stop around the area while heading home from Salem and decided to stop here on a whim, and oh my goodness was that a good idea. The view from both the top of the rock, and the seashore are beautiful! It just feels so fresh, and climbing up and around the rock was surprisingly fun.

I was only there for ~30-45 minutes, but I had a really good time just walking around the area and taking in the view.

Street parking only. It's 2 hour parking at a time.

This park is in a neighborhood and the entrance isn't obvious. Look for the Castle Rock sign low to the ground and follow that path down. There's a small beach to your left and a large rock formation ahead. You can climb the rocks for a great view.

My girlfriend and I came to watch the super moon. It was a little cloudy, but this is an otherwise prime spot for moonrises.

Incredibly scenic! ...definitely take the causeway from Marblehead and visit CR! It's a bit hidden away in a residential area so look for it...2 hour parking on the street by entrance so plenty of time to take in the view. Hard to get to the beach during high tide.

Such a beautiful place it is!! I loved it very much. Very few people were there, not crowded at all. We went there at the time of dusk. I really enjoyed the ocean view and dusk light.

Absolutely beautiful 🤩 bring a good pair of sneakers to climb up the rock and get a stunning 360 view.

This place is beautiful! We took our 9 year old and 2 year old and were able to get both of them up there. Getting down was a little tricky. I also think we had a couple on their first date get a picture of us and we got a picture of them and I hope they see this review 😂

A pleasant calm place to visit for rock / cliff climbing not in flip flops but sturdy shoes and a long walk on the beach. Amazing as a photo op site.

A very nice, smallish lookout, rocky ledge type, water-front view on one side, and rocky beach to the other side. Castle Rock itself (not pictured here) can be climbed if you're just a bit limber and mobile. It is a serene place-good for a quick stop or a bench sit to feel the breeze. Not a place w/large beach or a walking path. There is not a parking lot here.

Beautiful and interesting. Went at mostly low tide. Kinda hard to get down to the water. Wear secure shoes feet sink in the rocks. Under 5 will struggle to climb.

The stones are remarkably smooth and rounded.

So pretty and peaceful! Small but pretty spot along the water. Path to the park is a little hard to find between 2 large, beautiful houses on The Neck. Great view, and if you are up for the climb down to the water, a small and very rocky beach is accessible, or a small climb up for a better view to another (private?) beach that is not accessible at this location.

Castle Rock Park was one of very few places where it was possible to stop and park in Marblehead. I got out of my car, and I climbed the rock. The view of the ocean from on top of the rock was incredible. If you are in the area and you appreciate the awesome majesty of the Atlantic ocean, then I highly recommend checking this place out.

A beautiful, peaceful place. Unique rock formations of Marblehead. It's tucked back in a neighborhood of amazing homes and was not crowded at all. A great place for contemplation. I'm so glad we stopped here for a bit.

Take a moment, walk the path down to the rocks and the beach (at low tide) on the left. The right side is private and resident owned. Don't go there!

It's a beautiful oceanside Park with a big rock at the end of a mostly paved walk. Great spot to watch the waves crash during a storm. The man in the green tractor did some clearing of overgrown vines, Japanese knotweed, privet, and wild rose. It looks much better, but could use a few plantings. Maybe some juniper bushes and restore some of the wild rose.

I had instant visions of this engagement shoot with a fall session on the cliffs of Marblehead. To clarify, they wanted a drone fall session on the cliffs of Marblehead. Umm YEP. We’re in. Our future bride was willing to hike in heels & future hubby in hand, hauled up that cliffside like a boss, and we got some amazing shots. Castle Rock Park is a beautiful place to see!

This park is a beautiful spot for enjoying the waves, a pebble beach, and the northern Cape Cod views.
Parking is also super easy.
If you’re early enough, then you can catch the sunrise!
This is a perfect place for a picnic.

One of the best hidden jem of Marblehead! Not very people aware of this beauty but castle rock is breathtaking. It's a must visit place if you're going to Salem.
