Plum Island Beachcoma

Update: Finally had the Smash Burger...wow!

Another great stop at the Beachcoma with my wife. I had the blackened haddock tacos and she had the Caprese Salad with Coconut Shrimp. Both were excellent as usual. Mike the bartender did a great job. Even on a cloudy day it's hard not to love dining on the ocean. We'll be back for sure...it's becoming our regular spot!

I visited PI Beachcoma with my family for the first time and wow was I impressed! My son is a musician so we planned to have dinner and listen to some blues. The blues band drew a big crowd and a surprise birthday party was happening simultaneously when we arrived. This made it impossible for us to sit for dinner as planned. Instead, we rolled with the plan change and enjoyed the mild November weather as the sun set sipping wine, eating the best clam chowder I've had in a million years! The atmosphere is fun, bright, and friendly so we hung out grooving to tunes while the staff took care of everyone who all seemed to be having a great time!
Although not a local, I did not feel like an outsider, so you bet I'll be back during this, our first stay on the island!
Oh, and how could I forget... as a self-proclaimed pizza diva I ordered a small cheese- I was thrilled with it's flavor, thin, crispy crust & we were left wishing we had ordered more!

The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing. Absolutely handicapped accessible. The atmosphere and vibe is so much fun. Great place to hang out with friends, do some karaoke and just have a great time. Totally recommend it. I can’t wait to go back.

Drinks were great, food was great (try the street corn!) Service did a great job and the Sunset was beautiful! Waiting for your table is half the fun!

Great place for seafood right near the beach. It is a stone throw from the beach and has beach feeling to it. The food was exactly what you would hope for after a day in the sun. I had amazing Haddock taco’s and my wife had the Coconut shrimp. Both were excellent.

A favorite PI / Newburyport spot! We love the staff, the live music on Sunday afternoons and the food is awesome. Our favorites are the Tuna sandwich and smash burger. Great kid-friendly menu and atmosphere is fun and inviting. Great outdoor seating too!

Absolutely the very best place! The waitstaff are all awesome! We love the food, drinks, and fabulous live music every Sunday! We always have the best time and meet the most friendly people!

This is THE place to go on beautiful plum island! The service is lovely, competent and fast, food and drinks are super yummy, comfort food all the way. And the atmosphere is great! There is a big parking spot right across the street, which is very convenient too. And they often have live music!

It's always a fun place to go, especially when live music is playing. Awesome bartenders and great servers. We only had pizza and coconut shrimp, and everything was delicious.

Such a cute place...went here for the 1st time this week to see a band, and it was definitely cozy, but a lot of fun with a great vibe. Cool outdoor patio area, too. Food was great, but took a long time...likely because they were just getting over the rush. Looking forward to next time! ✨

I only popped in for drinks after a beach walk, hadn’t been in since pre-2020. It did not disappoint. Great staff, lively friendly patrons (made a new friend from the visit), and perfectly poured drinks. Have to stop back in sometime for food. Love locally run restaurants. They always do their best to make the experience the best they can and the BeachComa has never disappointed.

Beachcoma is a great place! Sundays are a lot of fun! Bands that play good old Rock n Roll, Blues, music from the 60's and 70's. Very good food. Great staff all the way around.

Went there for the first time Saturday night ,we had a blast and the food was awesome and the service outstanding ,we will be back

Great memories with friends and Ling Ling's karaoke!

We stopped here for a quick bite and loved it! Awesome service, delicious food. Our server made us feel so comfortable and they clearly made efforts to make the space COVID friendly. Delicious chowder and Caesar salad!
