After buying a home with a litany of issues Skip did a great job helping us figure out exactly what our plumbing needs were and how much it would be to fix them. Everything he's worked on has held up impeccably and I would work with him again in a heartbeat

Today I had an emergency while having a home repair done. My gas stove line starting leaking, fortunately the gas company responded quickly and capped it off. I called Descavich Plumbing with the hopes of a repair within a few days. To my surprise Skip responded and arrived within a two hour window after my initial call. This is service that I never expected in such a short period of time and done right.
For anyone needed plumbing service, my advise is to give Descavich Plumbing a call, you can thank me later .

I can not say enough about Skip's work ethic and quality. Our only toilet was flooding into the downstairs kitchen and we were "stood up" by another plumber and were without a toilet for days. Skip came right over on a Monday morning, told us what was going on and had our toilet running by lunch. He was so genuinely concerned and really went above and beyond to make a horrible situation better.

The plumber Skip Descavich has 30 years experience, and is very bright, friendly, humorous and totally trustworthy. I was considering upgrading my 1965 gas steam furnace, and though this would be a nice job for skip, he told me the furnace was very well maintained, that parts are available should I need them, and that a new steam boilers (unlike water or air) would not be much more efficient. I had been in a rush to be within an incentive period by Berkshire Gas, and Skip came over same day, and didn’t charge me for the valuable consultation. I also got a call back from another local plumber who seemed excellent too and who spoke highly of Skip, even though Skip is obviously a competitor. Skip’s cheery manner and obvious good health, combined with his experience and honesty, means you can’t go wrong with choosing him for any plumbing, furnace, hot water heater, and other HVAC needs.

Skip is very fast and efficient. I called him after a sewer backup and he upgraded my antique Victorian pipes and fixed the problem for much less than I feared it would cost. I will be calling him in to future to address other outdated parts of my plumbing system - BEFORE they fail!

I have used Skip for my business for a couple years, he’s always dependable honest and very reasonable when it comes to price! If I could give him more stars I would!!

He did a great job, was prompt and didn't make a mess. $225 an hour sounds high for 2 men and a monster machine, but they were efficient and the job came to half of what Roto-Rooter quoted. I would definitely call him first next time.

Skip was excellent and paid attention to detail. He was straight forward and honest. I will use his service again.
