First Advantage Dental went above and beyond in addressing my concerns. Following a recent crown installation, I experienced tooth pain after a week. Upon contacting First Advantage, they scheduled an appointment within two days. Dr. Alan identified a damaged nerve, recommending timely root canal surgery. He not only provided a recommendation but also suggested reputable specialists in the area. I look forward to returning after the root canal to have the crown replaced or patched. Exceptional service from great people at First Advantage Dental!

I took my 3-year-old here and both the dental hygienist and the dentist were extremely excellent with him. He was, of course very nervous and they made him feel comfortable saying ABCs while looking at his teeth. The first trip to the dentist turned out to be very successful!

Doctor Allan Benzenhafer and the person assisting him for my crown worked wonderfully together, explaining each step to me clearly, and working with care and efficiency. I was white-knuckle nervous. Months out, and everything is still great. Everyone in the practice is kind and helpful.

I am nearly 70 years old and never in my whole life have I had as stress-free a dental experiences with 1st Advantage Dental in Amherst. Dr. Allen and dental hygienist Rebecca are especially kind and competent. I wish I'd had this level or care and professionalism always from a dentist.

Melanie does such a fantastic job making me comfortable and explains everything. I always have a pleasant experience and love having that fresh clean feeling.

Have had Vanessa, the hygienist, clean my teeth several times in past, so was nice to see her again 😊. She is excellent and thorough. Highly recommend.
Had a great cleaning experience after a year plus from my last visit. Both hygienist and dentist were kind and patient despite my far from stellar flossing. Dr Chi was also thorough, asking questions to confirm what she was seeing. Melanie, the hygienist was very thorough and gentle.

Everyone is very friendly. Been going to 1st Advantage Dental for many years, always satisfied.

My hygienist Vanessa is consistently great. She explains what my needs are for oral care and showed me via images areas that need more attention.

Lauren at the front was very helpful in explaining care coverage options.

I had a great experience this morning during my appointment for new fillings on 3 of my teeth. After a short wait, Mary called me into the room with the dental chair and gave me a brief and informative description of the procedure that was to take place. Dr. Alan then appeared, and the procedure began. I could not believe how quick and painless it all was! Dr. Alan and Mary worked together in cohesion, like a well oiled machine, passing each other various instruments back and forth without missing a beat. I know that I was in good hands and will definitely be returning soon for my last filling appointment.

Rebecca is awesome. Her explanations of procedures were clear and thorough. She also chats with you on a personal level so you don’t feel like just an appointment to fill the schedule.

Fun time. Dr. Budzenhafer is great. Mary and Caitlin are funny and professional. The two young women at the desk are very sweet and helpful.

I have belonged to Advantage Dental for 20-plus years and recently they just closed the Greenfield office and combined them with the Amherst location; so, I had a small emergency and the staff worked wonders and got me seen. I was impressed by how friendly and helpful they were at the front of the house which left 5 stars ✨ to the back.

Today I went for two appointments. A cleaning and final crown. Receptionist said wasn't scheduled for the cleaning. I am sure I had been scheduled at my last visit for the cleaning. It was supposed to be a convenience to have both appointments in the same afternoon. Disappointing as I travel 45 minutes to the appointment.

Great place for dental care- competent and friendly professionals. My experiences at 1st Advantage Dental from regular cleanings to more involved work, have been great.
