If you need your nails done in the area I’d only come to star nails. AMAZING quality - they take their time and get your nails done exactly how you want. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!! Trying to walk in is hard because they’re so busy - but I would never go any other place in Amherst for my nails and I’ve lived here my whole life

Guys.. Star Nails is my favorite nail salon in the area. I’ve come to them with nail designs or normal manicures & each time they kill it! It’s not an option, go here.

I love it here! Everyone is so friendly and kind and patient! I always see Viky and she is truly amazing! I have tried other local places and this place is the best by far. Check it out- you won’t regret it.

The last salon I went to didn’t do at all what I asked for so I tried Star Nails and the nail tech did an amazing job fixing what I had. It was a great job for a great price! I was a little skeptical since I didn’t want to have screwed up nails again, but trust their process! I will definitely be returning!

I couldn’t be happier with the full set I got! Lisa did an amazing job and I love the design she came up with using the colors I picked. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend them!

Lisa my nail tech listened to exactly what I wanted and explained for the length I wanted a slightly different shape would look better. I’m glad I listened to her. She also educated me on some nail care so as not to end up with an infection.

Love their service and the effort they put towards each customer. If you're a returning customer, they are very good with remembering your preferences or choices. Lisa is my absolute favourite. She does a fabulous job every single time.

I don’t go anywhere else in Amherst when I need my nails done because they are always, ALWAYS quick and very well done. Everyone who works at Star Nails & Spa is consistent and very nice. Great service everytime. Julie helped me out today and she was legit done in less than 30 minutes for a full set manicure. Absolutely incredible job. Love her and Star Nails ‼‼

Beautiful nails. I've gone here once pre-COVID, and my French manicure lasted about 3 weeks! They are extremely thorough and don't rush the process. I got another French manicure two days ago, nails look perfect, and they did a great job taking all the necessary COVID precautions. Don't hesitate to go here as they are great about mask/face-shield wearing, sanitizing, and social-distancing. Highly recommend!

My mother and I each got gel manis and regular pedis. Wee (I’m sure I got the spelling wrong, I’m sorry) did my nails and did a lovely job (photo attached). She also did my toes and we got a spa pedi, which is where they give you a salt scrub and then hot towels and hot stones - highly recommend 👍🏼 through it all, Wee was kind and very detail oriented. Thank you!

This place is wonderful. Everyone is friendly, instruments are always clean, it feels homey. Is it the fanciest looking place, nope. Not a priority for me. They do a great job on my nails and everyone is very friendly. I also truly appreciate how the staff is treated. I have been to other local mail spas where I am disgusted by staff treatment. My favorites are Sony, Lisa and Nuna for nails!

Clean, friendly, well-stocked salon. Customers of all ages. I came in for a pedicure and Viky did a good, careful job. Just what I asked for. I'll be back.

Update: they were super understanding and fixed my nails for free made sure I liked them before I left I’m super happy with the service and definitely will be coming back.

The staff was very nice and friendly and I was excited to go here from looking at all the reviews but I just wasn’t happy with the way my nails came out. I just asked for a simple brown French with a black outline, they seem like they were very rushed and everything is uneven the nails have dents in them that u can feel and 2 of my nails I can already feel lifting. So overall I was just disappointed.

I called at 3:30 and they were able to fit us in at 5:40! Even though we were their last clients of the day, I didn't feel like she rushed at all. They were so nice and I love my nails! It is 35 min from me but I might make the hike to go back there next time!
