Amazing staff, returns are really easy, it’s a family business so it’s so much nicer than Dick’s and other corporate stores and they carry the same quality brands. They offer skate sharpening and pant length adjustments too!

Visited for the 1st time a week before Christmas to checkout winter boots. Lovely selection, but they didn't have my size. A gentleman called one of their sister stores and had my size in 2 colours delivered within 2 days. That's great service. Also got my husband some shirts. This store is a treasure, absolutely packed to the gills with everything outdoors for campers, hunters, hikers etc.

I'm truly amazed by the quality of service I received today! I'm new to the area and needed hiking boots, but I wasn't sure of what to look for. The salesperson asked some questions to help find the boots based on my needs. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable! Then I decided to get socks, and another salesperson helped me find the perfect pair. Finally I decided to get some hiking pants as well. A third salesperson helped me choose the right pants. The cashiers were very friendly too. I'll definitely come back for more gear when needed. Check them out because you won't be disappointed!

I love shopping here. The staff is super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The store has a wide variety of gear for tons of outdoor activities; over the years I have bought gear for camping, swimming, hiking, travel, and even a car roof rack. :) Recently I needed a receipt for something I bought TWO YEARS ago for warranty replacement, and the Sam's manager actually dug through their credit card system and found it for me! Their service is above and beyond!

Very friendly and helpful staff. My husband and I shop here somewhat frequently and finally bought our first Kayaks today. Jen was a huge help recommending accessories and went above and beyond helping us tie down each kayak and making sure we knew how to do it properly on our own for the future. Thank you 1000x! 😊

You can never be dissatisfied with the great selections of clothes or shoes. The quality of the clothes is very rugged and will last a long time. The prices are excellent. You can always find knowledgeable service if you have the need. My favorite store in Western Massachusetts!

I called ahead to learn if they carried work shoes suitable for the requirements of.my new employer. They assured me they did and in wide sizes I needed. When I arrived the man I spoke to helped me find the perfect pair which I paid for and left very happy!

Sam's is my favorite local outdoor supply and clothing store. They have a great staff of helpful and experienced staff who really know what they're talking about. Their prices are very fair, and they have a great series of rotating sales and specials.
All of the equipment they sell is top notch, and they have a really wide price range for you to shop within your budget.
I have purchased all of my ever expanding collection of gear from them, brought my partner and many friends to shop here, and I've heard nothing but good things from them as well.
Their Brattleboro location is larger, but they both have exactly what you need at a fair price, and will help you with a smile on their face.

Highly recommend. Absolutely great selection of inventory and good prices. I picked up a pair of Rugged Wranglers for 40% cheaper then anywhere else . Definitely going back. Excellent work staff very helpful.

Love Sam's! They have a great selection of outerwear, sandals, socks, ski wear, you name it. Their staff is super helpful and I feel good supporting a small business vs. the big box stores. Highly recommend this great place!

The wife and I love Sam's. Local company with all the big outdoor brands there. We bought our 3 season 3 room north face tent there for while they were having a big sale. The employees are well trained and know the products. They also sell a big variety of hydroflask sizes and colors you can't always get at ems!! Also our son loves the free popcorn they offer that is fresh made

Always a pleasurable experience shopping at Sam’s. I’m writing a review this time to acknowledge the courtesy, knowledge and professionalism that Liam in footwear provided. My mother is very particular about what she puts on her feet. To be absolutely sure she makes the best purchase, she insists on trying multiple shoes. Brands, sizes, gore-tex/no gore-tex, vibram/no vibram, the list goes on. Liam demonstrated outstanding customer service by giving my mom past customer feedback about each of the shoes as she meticulously inspected each one. In the end, a purchase was made and she was very happy. Thank you Liam. Sam’s is lucky to have you.

I bought my daughters raincoat and rainbows here. She loved them. They were very high in quality, and she is still using the coat. I bought them last fall, and she out grew the boots. Kids hah. The clothes are a bit on the expensive side, but they were good quality. I didn't want to buy her cheap rainboots or raincoat, but I was still surprised by how expensive they were. It would have been nice if they had more kid deals and promotions on kids clothes.

Amazing selection, super friendly staff. Man it's like a candy store for those of us with an aversion to the indoors.

We bought a car roof rack for a kayak from Sam's Outdoor Outfitters, and they were incredibly patient with us. Everyone I've dealt with there has been courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. We were assisted ably by one of the staff, as we needed the expertise to install the rack. I will be returning for more of my outdoor needs.

Go here! LL Bean up the street is massively expensive. This place has great arch support Keene shoes at an affordable price. Great staff,wonderful experience.

I am a novice outdoorswoman, and I went to Sam's to do some research on a pack for a backpacking trip through Europe.

I worked with Chris, and he and the other staff were very patient and helpful to make sure I had all of my questions answered, and that I was getting the right pack for what I wanted. I really appreciated that they showed me how to use it and loaded the pack so that I could get a real feel for it. I will definitely go back for any future gear!
