Iffy facade, but nice inside, and the food is great. There’s even a piano that was played by a semi skilled dude. If you want dairy based cream in your coffee, you should go elsewhere. Definitely a nice crunchy granola joint :)

Great selection of vegan and vegetarian breakfast and lunch items. I didn't try anything because I wanted the chili but they didn't have it today. Very laid back and chill atmosphere and staff.

Love this place! Delicious vegan food! My favorite item is the special breakfast bagel sandwhich and the peanut noodles! I used to live out in Amherst and would go all the time. Now I'm in boston and only get out here every so often. I stop by everytime I am in the area! The staff is amazing and so nice! I am never disappiointed! The atmosphere is calm and cozy! Could easily sit, eat and get work or school work done!

Highly recommend Cafe Evolution!!! Delicious vegan food, and super nice owners! We came down from Maine, and will definitely eat here again!!! :-)

IT WAS AMAZING. So if you are in the Western Mass area, you have to give them a try.

And wash it down with some Yerba Mate. Not only is it tasty and better than coffee, but it also benefits a great cause.

Great little place! It gets VERY busy around lunch time so I would suggest getting there early or waiting until after the lunch rush!

The staff is friendly, even warm. Service is prompt but not rushed. The atmosphere is relaxed and artistic (if you think a vegan restaurant should have ambiance like a steak house, go elsewhere.) The food is consistently fresh, delicious, served in generous portions. The baked goods... out of this world! Although the business is committed to compassionate living, NO ONE gets in your face about it. Parking is limited, but if you go one block beyond, there is plenty of free, on-street parking. We rarely eat out, because we both love to cook, but this is the one place we do go <3

I went here with my girlfriend and our group of vegans friends to celebrate one of their birthdays and we love finding new vegan restaurants to eat at. We were so happy we ended up here. The food was absolutely amazing and was beyond our expectations. They have such a variety of dishes to choose from. I ended up getting their BLT sandwich which is the best sandwich I've EVER had in my life! Then we all got desserts after and they were also absolutely amazing! Everyone there was super friendly/welcoming and I cannot wait to come back for a visit. I would defiantly recommend this to everyone especially if you are vegan.

Their food is absolutely delicious! Those maple scones are so good - even my gluten free friends are willing to break all the rules when I offer to share some❤

I got my wedding cakes from Cafe Evolution, because I've always loved their cupcakes. No one could believe that they were vegan. They were the best... extremely beautiful, absolutely delicious, just like everything else on the menu. Good vibes... great food!

Trish and Starr are superb! We ordered a large amount of deserts for a catered event and throughout the process Trish was super helpful and kind. The food was amazing as always. The guests were delighted with the delicious food and beverages. Café Evolution is a yummy staple in our community!!!

As a vegan it's nice to have an all vegan cafe nearby. Brunch on Sundays is a favorite, however lunch anyday is great (try the chili burrito with avocado!!). The baked goods are absolutely delicious, the cupcakes are a favorite. My non vegan husband is always happy with his meal and my non vegan parents also enjoy going with us when they visit from out of town. Definitely worth a try!

I recently became vegetarian so finding a place to eat is hard enough finding a great place to eat is near impossible.The wide variety of vegan options here is amazing. The food is very great and loaded too! Not often can you find a place that will serve you for under 12$ the amount cafe evolution will. The staff are really friendly. The kitchen is open so you see how they operate. Wonderful place, it’s becoming my favorite lunchtime spot. Thank you team evolution!!!

Excellent vegan creations, fresh and imaginative. The staff handled every request with stride. The baked goods we're delicious as well. During the Summer months a couple of ceiling fans would enhance the experience. Easy parking and great old school atmosphere.

Awesome vegan cafe! Daily specials and coffee (with all kinds of nondairy milks), as well as great menu selections. Love Supreme is my favorite. Chili is amazing too! Best vegan cupcakes on the planet. Get the chocolate with mint frosting!

A nice little find as we were driving through town. My non-vegan boyfriend very much enjoyed the baked tofu sandwich, as I did the 'Saint Reuben'. The baked goods were excellent and the atmosphere quite quaint. I would make it a point to stop here.

Casual vegetarian coffee shop offering light lunch fare, smoothies & vegan breads & sweets. Very funky atmosphere. Play the piano if the urge strikes you. The food is first-rate. Some very creative vegetarian recipes.

If you are thinking this is a place for strict vegans only you are in for a surprise. This is by far one of our favorite brunch places. What I love the best is that they are not trying to substitute for meat and diary but create something entirely original and unique. The guy is an amazing photographer as well. Good gallery and mood.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The menu offers a great selection and don't get me started on desert. Alongside my vegetation chilli I got a maple pecan scone that was delicious! I have craved one for weeks. Can't wait to go back and start working my way through their menu.

Fantastic, lovingly prepared food. Worth going out of the way for it if you are vegetarian or vegan!! Very friendly, chatty staff. As others have said, often there is only one person working there at a time--my guess is this helps them stay in business, which is a good thing as this place is a huge asset to the community. But if you're looking to grab a quick sandwich and move on, head over to the Cup & Top instead (they do have a very nice veggie wrap over there). Service at Cafe Evolution is, shall we say, at a leisurely pace. If you're looking to spend some quality time over awesome cruelty-free food, you've found the right place.
