R & R Sport Shop

Been going here since I was a kid and it's still AWESOME!! Went there the other day first time in probably 20 years hasn't changed at all. Great place if your into hunting got tons of firearms and archery gear.

Plenty of selections of whatever your shooting needs are. And the archery dept. is great!! Always over the top being helpful,and I gotta throw Kenny's name out there. Great guy to get you started shooting or ready to help out the experienced archery hunter! This is the place to go!!

I’ve reviewed this place in the past and I dealt with a rude staff. Well, things have changed. I went in there yesterday and was greeted by the owner. He was attentive right away and came to see if I needed help. I have recently gotten into muzzle loading but don’t know too too much about it. He helped me get all sorted out with a new CVA accura. The exact muzzle loader I’ve been wanting and they’re the only shop around that had it in store (which is what brought me there). When all was said and done he shook my hand and said thank you. After this new experience here I would definitely shop here again and recommend it to others.

Have been going to R&R regularly for a few years. Definitely took some time for them to warm up to me, if not just recognize me amongst all their customers. I disagree with a lot of the hate on here for them, though. If you go in there with a mild attitude and a healthy love for outdoor sport, you’ll get treated well. Also yes they do value regular customers but certainly not less than other customers in the store. I also recommend engaging them with what they’re doing hunting/fishing-wise rather than asking for too many tips and just talking about your outing.

As an angler they have time and again kept me actively abreast of inventory while shopping, carry a small but industry standard selection, and contrary to popular belief (esp. around Granby) provide excellent quality bait. They’ve also spoken with me at length about various local patterns and are extremely knowledgeable about the area. Also as someone who’s looking to get into both firearms and hunting, can honestly say their selection seems top drawer. Dude in the archery shop is a total sweetheart too. Don’t listen to the hate, go to R&R next time you need anything fishing or hunting.

Amazing selection of in stock shotguns. Actually was able to compare a few Benelli and Franchi models. Chose Benelli, cheaper prices than online. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Came in to have my bow repaired/tuned and needless to say...they were awesome! Being new to the sport, I had a lot of questions and knew very little. the Bow tech took all the time I needed to get fitted and learn some tips on maintaining the bow. Most importantly he was down to earth, 100% honest with me and didn't try selling me into something I didn't need. I will definitely be going there from this point on and I would HIGHLY recommend going here for all your Archery products and servicing.

I could not believe the inventory this shop has. The prices were extremely competitive if not the best I've seen hands down. What really sets this shop apart, for me was how they treated all customers the same. The old timers, the new to the game buyers and those guys that just like to look but never buy. I grabbed a mini 30 and sig m 18 and will be back for more soon.

Wandered in there about six months ago with my seven-year-old. Store staff was wonderful. Really amazing stuffed animals all over the store. Got a fantastic pair of sunglasses for my husband.

R&R is a great sporting good store. The staff are very knowledgeable on hunting, firearms and archery equipment. I brought in an old bow I was gifted and their technicians breathed new life into it, and they didn’t try and upsell me on a new bow. Great service!

I have made several purchases here and a few trades as well...the guys are really knowledgeable and helpful...they have a really great inventory compared to a lot of the other shops in the area.

Your local store with the local options. From ammo to arms it's just what you need. Friendly guys there. Also love getting fresh bait from there too for fishing

Great sportsman store , they have everything , hard to find arm's and the archery dept. is very large with every thing you could ever want, Staff is very nice and can answer any questions A+++

went there today and all 3 guys behind the counter were wicked nice,open to questions, & informative. Ive been to gun stores all over new england and dealt with the cliche "condescending gun counter guy" who hates questions but the 3 dudes at R&R were relaxed and cool. That was my first time in there despite being from the area and utilizing surrounding gun stores and after my experience today id recommend them to anybody i know and go back for gear or upgrades...prices were good too,unlike places in worcester or springfield. solid place really.

I am thankful for this store's existence! The staff is always extremely helpful and totally not grumpy!! JK!! Lol The prices seem fair for a non chain store! From guns to live bait and everything in between is what you'll find!

Excellent customer service and large selection.

R&R is great. I find they give me nice service and advice and I am new to some of this stuff.. so they have to be patient. Sometimes they are busy but they do pretty well overall.

Double thumbs up to the bow guys Ken and Rich (although Rich still smells like smoke, from his house fire,.. just kidding). Better have Ken tune the bow next time after that joke!

Anyways ,.. always treated me well,.. I would recommend them others for sure.

The owners are amazing people and their store is awesome. Whether you're a hunter, fisherman, or otherwise, R&R is definitely the sports shop you need to go for all of your sporting goods. I highly recommend R&R sport shop and if I had the option, I would have rated 10 stars :)
