Planned Parenthood - Metro West Health Center

Had no issues whatsoever! This was my second appointment with this location. The staff was all amazing, I was in and out in 20 minutes and the dr was extremely sweet the entire appointment.

Came here to start hrt as a nonbinary person, had absolutely no issues whatsoever. The nurses who checked me in were very informative and thorough. Everyone in the practice had no issue using my chosen name and pronouns, and even the patient portal doesn't dead name me. Going back for a 3 month checkup appointment this week, I would highly recommend them for anyone looking to start hrt without jumping through hoops.

Had an annual exam there for the first time. Everyone was very polite and understanding. The wait time was maybe 5-10 minutes. Overall a great experience.

Quick appointments for women's checkups and health. They were very informative and I was able to ask all of the embarrassing questions I ever thought of but never felt comfortable enough to ask. After a positive pregnancy test PA Moshier made my options very clear and I walked out with paperwork on how to maintain a healthy pregnancy. I appreciated not feeling pressured into other options (as I have children already) and the support in making my own decision at my own time. She even looked up my current medications to make sure it wouldnt affect anything. .

Planned Parenthood location on Pleasant St in Worcester, MA. I have not visited the location on Main St. in Marlborough. My apologies for the confusion.
I had a copper paraguard IUD placed in late September 2018. From start to finish, it was a great experience. Every member of the staff is amazing, from the security guard, the receptionists, the medical assistants, nurses, doctors....everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, helpful and kind.
My procedure was a bit difficult due to scarring from a different procedure 13 years earlier, but the ultrasound technician, doctor and resident all helped me through the discomfort with breathing exercises and talking me through each step and made every effort to minimize the discomfort with medication (paracervical block). Using the ultrasound helped ensure that the IUD was perfectly positioned which was very reassuring.
Thanks to the ACA and my health insurance through work, my total out of pocket costs came to maybe $75 for 10-12 years of highly effective, set it and forget it birth control.
I drove 90 minutes each way to visit Planned Parenthood for this procedure b/c they are highly professional and the foremost experts in women's health services and I am extremely happy with the results.
Planned Parenthood has been there for me for 20 years for a range of services like low cost birth control pills, women's health exams, pap smears, std screenings and now an IUD. Thank you.

Came for Nexplanon removal. Super fast and positive experience.

the service and providers were very friendly, but i waited for 40 minutes to be seen. the receptionist was apologetic and explained that there was only one NP on staff for the day, which isn't either of their fault, more of an admin fault if anything. once i was seen, the service was very quick and thorough and i felt as though my input and feelings were important. this was my first time at the marlboro location, since the boston location was booked out for several months. i still prefer boston, but would come here again if scheduling required it.

Went for simple screening. Staff was nice enough but not competent to draw my bloodwork, which I have never had an issue with. Ended up getting paperwork to have my testing done elsewhere. Would not return to this location.

Young girls who don’t know what they are doing run the front desk and the phones. I was on my way to an appointment and this was the first time I’ve been here , I accidentally went the wrong way on 495 so it added 10 minutes to my trip, I called to let them know I would be late and the girl I spoke to on the phone told me word for word “your all set I’ll let the front desk know” and I confirmed with her that I will still be okay to come to my appointment if I’m 10-15 minutes late and she told me YES. I show up and of course the girl on the phone didn’t tell the girl at the front desk that I was going to be late so she had already marked my appointment as missed. The girl at the front desk was rolling her eyes at me and very young and rude. Seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing. What can I expect? This IS planned parenthood we are talking about. Thanks for absolutely nothing when I have a pretty serious issue going on, looks like I’m going to the hospital now.

Very disappointed with the services I received at this location. It took weeks to get an appointment, so that by the time I was seen, the original testing I had made the appointment to get was already completed elsewhere. Instead I got a regular check up and BC prescription. I was still billed over $400, the invoice of which included the testing that I DID NOT RECEIVE from planned parenthood. I followed up with them at least 3 times to get the bill corrected and they wouldn’t budge. Finally after being threatened with collections I am giving up, but I will never use planned parenthood again and I am so disgusted with their predatory billing.

A gropy and ignorant nurse practitioner degraded me in various ways for 15 minutes while pretending to provide me with medical care. This is the first bad experience I've ever had at any PP branch, but it was truly terrible. Kathleen T made me extremely uncomfortable when she assumed I take hormones, made a big deal out of using my correct pronouns after using the wrong ones, and patted my genitals through the blanket after the exam was over. I recommend avoiding Kathleen T at all costs.

I booked an appointment weeks in advance for them to not have the services there. Despite me being super specific on the phone of what I needed and they should have called me in advance if they checked the notes and saw they don’t do the services there. Literally worst feeling in the world. Thank you for the added anxiety.

Such horrible terrible staff! Everyone here is BEYOND UNEDUCATED! They cant treat you properly for anything! No one here has gone to school and its obvious ! These so called “nurses” should all be fired. Planned parenthood should be shut down and a MUCH BETTER AND EDUCATED PLACE SHOULD BE OPENED UP IN PLACE!!!

The website says in plain black and white that they provide primary care, but I called their phone number and spoke to Michelle, who condescendingly and patronizingly explained that the website "is confusing" but that they do not provide primary care in Massachusetts.
