DaCosta Builders expertly installed the beadboard in our hallway walls and the moldings around our kitchen sliding doors -- completely transforming both rooms. If you’re still thinking about whether to hire the DaCosta team to push your home improvement projects across the finish line, then think no more! They just completed two big projects in the past month for me, at a house I just bought. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results.

First, they completely redid the flooring throughout the house—refinished the hardwood floors downstairs, ripped up the carpets on the stairs & upstairs, and installed hardwoods to replace all the carpets. Next up was the painting—they completely repainted the interior of the house. Seriously, it all looks a million dollars. It’s hard to recognize it as the same house.

The two different teams were brilliant. They were so hard working and really nice guys. And both teams produced beautiful results. But I think one of the best points about using the DaCosta team is the customer service. Klistenes is amazing—I don’t think he sleeps much, because he always makes time to respond very quickly to messages or calls, regardless of the time. And when I was looking for quotes before I finally chose a contractor, he came out on a Sunday, within 24 hours of speaking to me. And he makes himself available to respond to any questions you might have when the work is underway and when it’s finished.

He’s a super-nice guy. I’m so glad I found him and his team! And I can’t wait to have them back again when I’m ready for my next project.

Having DaCosta make exterior repairs to my home was an incredible experience. They were very responsive and did an excellent job repairing an area that had extensive water damage with rotted wood, which is now completely restored. They repaired other exterior areas of my home as well and overall their work exceeded my expectations.

Klistenes of DaCosta General Painter is extremely friendly, courteous, personable and professional. After a thorough walk-around of the property, Klistenes explained the work that would be done, made some suggestions concerning the aluminum gutters and basement bulkhead door, and provided me with a detailed quote to paint the exterior of my Cape Cod style home and detached 1-car garage. After accepting the quote, I received an agreement in my email for review and electronic signature. There was a lot of communication back and forth, as Klistenes reported the weather report daily. I was never left in the dark and was informed by Klistenes when the crew would be at the house, and what work they would be performing on any given day. Klistenes started work a week earlier than expected. Of the quotes I received, DaCosta’s was the most detailed, right down to the brand of exterior paint that would be used. Each day, the crew showed up early in the morning and labored into the evening. They pressure washed the house to remove dirt, and then, over a period of several weeks, between rain falls, they sanded, scraped, primed and painted. There was a lot of attention to detail. They even repaired some rotted wood. At the end of each day, my patio space and yard was left clean and clear of paint chips and debris. All in all, it was a very good experience, and I am extremely satisfied with the paint job I received. I will not hesitate to hire DaCosta General Painter for any future painting projects, and highly recommend them to others.

Very dependable hard working owner. Klistenes was very professional and priced my project very reasonable. He pays close attention to detail and works very neat, he made sure everything was painted with precision. The crew showed up every day as scheduled. Klistenes was very prompt with communication, making sure I knew when he would be arriving and leaving for the day. He troubleshooted and resolved any issues that came up. Interior and Exterior paint turned out amazing. So happy with my house. I currently rehired Klistenes to start a staining project for my deck. I will definitely keep using his services in the future!

Klistenes did an impeccable job painting our home’s interior, updating our bathrooms and fireplace. His response time is within minutes, from setting up an estimate, to the final day of the project. Excellent reinstalling our winter battered mailbox. Dug hole, poured cement and leveled the mailbox support all in perhaps two hours. Thank you, will be thinking about other projects too.
