Food & drinks were excellent! Only complaint is that the fries were a bit soggy. We had the Cesar salad, fried broccolini, and steak tips. The bar area is super cozy and they have a nice fireplace. Our server was attentive and friendly.

Great food, experience and atmosphere. The restaurant was packed, so we found a seat at the bar. The service was very prompt. The restaurant is an old house, and they had a fire burning in the fireplace adding to the atmosphere. Definitely a place you could go for a nice date night. The food was incredible, the salmon I got was the best dish of salmon I have ever had. I literally wanted to lick the plate! All around an amazing experience!

We met another couple for a late lunch. The service was wonderful. We sat and chatted for a while, and we weren't rushed.( The bar side had several patrons, but the restaurant side was very quiet). Everyone was satisfied with their food, and the frequent comment was "I'll be back for another visit"

Perfect lunch/dinner out with your significant other. I’ve been here half dozen times and they never disappoint. It’s a bit pricey but still a steal when you taste the quality. One of my favorite restaurants. The shepherds pie is amazing everyone should try it once

Apparently this place has been around since the 1890's. Our sever told us it started out as an inn and after the train went in right next door the noise made the inn no longer workable and the place was transitioned into a local watering hole. Now it is certainly much more than that with a great menu of starters and broad selection of dinner and lunch options. The numerous beers on tap are obvious with one look behind the bar, which is where we sat for lunch on Sunday afternoon. The bar is beautiful and features a lit fireplace, dark wood, hardwood floors and a classic and warm feel. This may be one of my very favorite places I've been to in simetime. It just feels like a place you want to come back to, and I certainly will when I am anywhere near this area.

The staff were also very professional, and clearly knew about the history of this place. Apparently there is some paranormal activity that has been captured and discussed by many in this old inn now turned lovely public house.

The old building is wheel chair accessible with a ramp from the back parking lot, something I know many would appreciate.

This was a great find for us and we will return for sure.

We have been going to Stone's Public House for years and love it! The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is always so cozy. Tonight, we had great service! Our server, Hannah, greeted us quickly, had a great personality and communication skills, and delivered top-notch service the entire night.

Such a cool old place, a real mood. I'd love to come back when fireplace is lit. Food was excellent as was service. Menu is marked Gluten free and they have great GF beer option. This place made me wish I was a local so I could come regularly!

Only stopped in for a couple pints, but this place had a great colonial vibe. In what seems like an old house with a fireplace in the bar. Definitely quaint and quiet.

Went for a late lunch on a Monday afternoon. They weren't too busy at all. Nice local atmosphere and nice draft beer selection. We sat on the patio which was a good size and shaded. My eggplant sandwich and the fries were delicious!

Best takeout I’ve had in the area. The lobster roll was packed with lobster meat and had two whole claws. So delicious. The mac and cheese was good and the brownie sundae was excellent. I look forward to trying more things from here. Really delicious.

Fantastic restaurant for lunch or dinner. Great menu, including loads of beers on tap and great cocktails. In warmer months the outdoor seating is lovely. In colder months the fireplaces inside bring a quintessential New England feel to your meal. Just sitting in the bar area is very nice. The history of Stones is very interesting, ask about the ghost!

Perfect everything... we had no reservation - they fit us in; many selections for my crew's needs; we had a good table and the bar looked inviting, many beer choices; service was good and plenty; food quality and taste in every meal. Should have gone there much sooner! This is a gem in a nice quiet town.

Great atmosphere, great food, friendly staff, actually had a parking lot in the back, it was great.
I got the fish and chips, it was well made, hot, fresh, and crispy. Girlfriend got the lobster roll, she really enjoyed it, felt like there was plenty of lobster and the quality was good.
Will absolutely be back.

I went to Stone's for the first time tonight. I have nothing but positive things to say. Our server, Tori, is an absolute delight. She was so thoughtful in answering my menu questions and was eager to serve us. She has truly made a lasting impression on us and we will return specifically for her. Fantastic experience.
