China City

I was driving by to drop off one of my team members and I hadn’t had lunch yet, even though it was 3:30 in the afternoon so seen a Chinese food sign and indication that it was open, was a relief bc it was January first and most other places aren’t open.
So I pulled up and walked in, was greeted nicely by the person taking my order, had a slight
modification on my Kung Pao Chicken with no issues. Food came out fast and it was very tasty.

I absolutely recommend it.

We ordered take out from here since we were in the area and wow we fell in love with the food. Everything was fresh and delicious and they even gave us free spring rolls. We don’t live in the area but moving forward we might make the hour drive whenever we’re craving great Chinese food.

Gave this place another go since they have reopened. They are now my favorite place in Leominster. The food is flavorful, fresh and absolutely delicious. Chicken wings smell soooo tantalizing and taste incredible.... the oil is not old and you can tell.
If you love Hot n Sour soup, theirs is on point. Chock full of shitake and white mushrooms, large pieces of tofu and bamboo shoots as well as julienned carrots.
Owner is super friendly.

This place has great lunch specials! The portions are huge. The food is good. The service is great. There was free tea! The environment was clean and inviting!

Food is better than ever since they've reopened, the service was wonderful and the staff were kind and generous. The crab rangoon and pad thai are absolutely 10/10. Highly recommend for their food, service, and consistency.

The owners/chefs are gracious, friendly, and generous. Great value. A unique experience. There are slightly different twists on the "usual" Chinese dishes in a good way. Everything was fresh and had a "made just for you" feel and taste. There was a choice of appetizer with lunch. I had a large, delicious fried shrimp. Yummy spring rolls. Our 2 y.o. granddaughter called the wontons "new wontons" and loved them. The gravy on the egg foo young was lighter and tastier than usual. Fried rice dishes were delicious and, again, not the usual, in a very good way. Moo goo gai pan was excellent. Soups were quite good; they had a homemade taste. They make their own duck sauce. We wish we had a restaurant like this where we live in Florida. We will come back to China City at least once or twice every time we visit our family in Leominster!

Update 4/26/21 5 to 5 stars:
The food has been more consistent than anywhere I've been in recent years, for freshness and flavor. They are almost tied for my #1 choice for orange chicken, they are #1 for chicken teriyaki flavor, and to sum it all up...when my group wants Chinese food, this is the place that comes up first. If it wasn't for the distance It'd be less of a hesitation at times when I don't take the 30 minute trip. When I do go, I spend $25-45 each time, and don't regret it.

The food here is more consistent with freshness than others in the same city and nearby. The chicken fingers are very good when they are fresh, which is most times, kudos to them. The orange chicken is good, could be more unique or more on the orange sauce type although; but I still order it often. the spare ribs have flavor, and the chicken teriyaki is delicious. The egg rolls, I wish they had more pork inside but they taste normal. They can make you coconut chicken instead of coconut shrimp if you ask. I thought the sauce needed thickening, and it was nowhere near enough sauce; definitely too watery though. General Tso's chicken tasted good, no complaint, and as I said it's really good when it's fresh. They are above the norm with consistency, which is important to set yourself apart from any ole' Chinese restaurant. Good food, no issues with service, and fresh on majority of the days. Oh yeah, the fried rice is a little different from the other places, and taste pretty darn good on some days and normal on the others, but they don't skimp on egg or meat and that's important.

Foodie #2: "The rice is a little plain on some days, other days it taste good. Orange chicken taste good, The coconut shrimp needed more sauce and needed to be thicker."

The best food so far that I’ve tried in the area! The beef is so tender Beef and broccoli if you like dumplings, I highly recommend steamed. I tried a-few other dishes worth giving it a try! YUMMY!!

This was my first time ordering and WOW. This is my new go to! Not your typical Chinese food it definitely has a unique flavor profile.I ordered a pupu for one, and a side of veggie fried rice & vegi lo main. First thing I noticed was the rice and chicken, both had an orange color ( not gonna lie I was a bit apprehensive) and the chicken wings a breaded fried coating which is different than most Chinese wings. They were both delicious ! The portions are huge and fresh. My only complaint was the vegis were too “rough cut” in the Lo main- needs a smaller chop. Overall very impressed

This place has integrity! They made good on a month old promise and i can't respect them enough for it! But you came to learn about the food. I'll say this, the food is not only delicious but clean tasting. And anyone who has tried their fair share of different restaurants knows what a difference clean tasting food makes. The fried food doesn't bog you down, the batter is light crispy and fresh, and the sauces are refreshing. Overall it's the Leominster residents that are blessed to have this place in town.

Always a good experience here. Service is always first class and owner is incredibly personable and welcomes feedback. Food is absolutely delicious. Not overly seasoned or rushed. Definitely one of my favorite places and people.

Everything was spot on. The owner had his whole family helping and really put his heart and soul into the food. I had D6 sweet and sour dinner special and the chicken was crispy and the rice and beef were perfect. I also can’t say enough about the crab rangoons. So good. 10/10 would recommend.

Every thing that I ordered from here was delicious! I enjoyed some of the best crab rangoons, beef teriyaki, rice noodles and ginger chicken that I have ever had. The service was also wonderful. I highly recommend ordering from here!

I visited this store in Leominster for the first time, since I have recently relocated to the region from Philly. I was impressed. Clean, friendly staff, the owner took my order promptly and served my order hot and delicious. This establishment is truly worthy of respect and praise. Keep up the good work. Excellent General Tso's chicken....my favorite!

My husband Michael introduced me to this place and HOLY COW! Beyond my expectations the food was so fresh and flavorful, the customer service is incredible literally the sweetest people I have ever met. Never change China City we love you’re food and your genuine kindness ♥

The best Chinese around! Everything I have tried has been outstanding. They make everything fresh to order and have a brand new kitchen. Have always adjusted to special requests for any allergies or to make things spicy, etc. 5* all the way!

Coming here is always the best experience... The food is incredible, the service is second to none, the owner and his family are just the sweetest, always looking to exceed your expectations.

Omg I have eaten in many restaurants but this restaurant has won everyone the taste is very good they are clean the place is clean and the attention is very good I give it a 100 if you want a good food do not hesitate to go here
