Adriatic Restaurant

What a gem of a restaurant with fantastic and knowledgeable staff! We had a great time and are usually skeptical for eating Italian food out, this place does not hold back with the flavor and finesse! We sat at Table 203 and had a great time, bottles of wine are decently overpriced but it’s to be expected. The pumpkin ravioli, spicy sausage, lamb lollipops and fig appetizer were all superb. The pumpkin ravioli is almost like a dessert dish but it really is unique and well done.

Just wanted to say that little cute devil 😈 girl Briana M. Did a great job as my waitress on Halloween 🎃 Day in Salem. Food and Service was awesome. I licked the plate 🍽 😋 clean... Great Job....

Waitresses are barely trained, but make up for it with honesty and diligence.

A bit pricey...

Fantastic everything. Wait staff handled a rush with fast, professional and attentive service. Went with the special of scallop risotto with squash and a salmon dish both were fantastic. Best scallops I've ever had cooked to perfection melted in my mouth. Followed up by raspberry sorbet and a chocolate tart for dessert, both were amazing. It's very clear everything is made fresh in house.

My son had given me a gift certificate for my birthday. My husband and I had a wonderful server who was so attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and flavorful. We had the meatballs, the grilled romaine salad, stuffed veal, and Bolognese. All our server paired with great wine choices. It all was absolutely delicious and fresh. We finished with the tiramisu. Highly recommend !

Amazing atmosphere, service and food! Our server was fantastic, the food was great and we had such a good time. The special of scallops were amazing, the lamb pops were great!

Fantastic food for a reasonable price in the heart of Salem. Highly recommended. Had the salmon and my wife had the muscles and shrimp.

Best dinner of our trip to Salem, hands down! Everything at the Adriatic was fantastic. We had great cocktails, the bread and apps were great (we had a squash blossom special and the bag of munchkins), and our entrees were excellent. We had the swordfish puttanesca and the scallop special with butternut squash risotto. Our party couldn't stop raving about them! Best of all was our server, Becca, who was charming and cheerful, and made us smile. She was attentive and thorough, and we just loved her energy! Thanks Becca!

We usually let the tourists enjoy our Salem restaurants during October, but we had a craving. We started with the lamb lollipops which were prepared just perfectly (rare). I had the scallop risotto which may be the single best dinner I have ever eaten, my husband had the special whitefish which he raved about, and we both had a couple of glasses of wine. Despite the crowd, our service was impeccable, perfectly timed with not a crumb out of place-many thanks to Madison and co! The atmosphere was lovely and upbeat. Highly recommended.

The lobster fritters were kinda bland. Not enough ingredients inside.

The pizza was ehhh... that big meat was kinda gross, our bad. We should have gotten another topping 😅

The hostess, during the busy time of October was amazing. I had a reservation months in advance and other customers were visibly upset by me "jumping the line" but the hostess was so well at handling the chaos and pressure.

OUR SERVER WAD PHENOMENAL. I wish I knew her name. She was super friendly, transparent about wait times. Patient with all our needs. I'm proud of the staff for handling October so well!

We went on Halloween and they some how sat us (just 2)in a few minutes.
Service was on point and friendly despite being slammed.
The menu and wine list is great.
I had the scallop risotto and it was cooked to perfection!
The chocolate tart was pretty tasty.
Additional props to the professional staff when our dining neighbors got sloppy drunk and broke some plates. They kept their cool.
For such a nice place the prices were good.

I went here with low expectations as this was the only place I could find reservations on Columbus Day. I was very surprised with high how well the food and service was. Our server was great and the service was very quick. The appetizers were delicious. My table ordered the grilled octopus and Bag of Munchkins which were delicious. For the entree I got the Cavatelli with Spicy Sausage which may have been one of the best dinners I have eaten at any restaurant. Overall was extremely satisfied with my dinner, and it ended up being a great birthday dinner. I will be back.

Hands down this is an AMAZING restaurant! Vanessa our waitress/bartender was beyond friendly and quick! Her drinks are spot on. We will be back. Our meals were the scallop squash risotto and the pork tenderloin... the best we have ever had! Thank you for all your hospitality!!

This is my second time in Salem, MA, I must say I’m impressed. We honestly stumbled onto Adriatic restaurant— the menu sounded yummy and the reviews were good— boy were we not disappointed!

First off, even if you don’t like lamb, get their lamb lollipops— I could honestly just have a plate of them. Perfectly done- tender meat and extremely moist. The meatballs- yea… get those too!

The swordfish was spot on and the shrimp risotto (in this case, the special was using scallops) was simply perfect!

Service was great and the restaurant created a nice ambience!

Food was delicious. Restaurant is noisy when busy so be prepared to talk loud.

Love visiting this bar we always have a good time. Everyone is very friendly and professional.they have a good selection of wines and scotch.

We went during off season but that didn't impact the food quality or service. Our server, Schineid, was above and beyond amazing. As good as our food was, the service was even better! Thanks!

The service and food are unparalleled! Highly recommend! Madison was the best server we have had since we arrived. The whole staff is very knowledgeable, and the kitchen is a scratch kitchen so they can adjust for allergies (and picky kids). Our whole family loved it and we can’t wait to come back!

I would just like to thank the waitress who was so lovely with us at the start of the evening (11/19/23 around 6 p.m.). We came to Salem just for the day and ended up having a drink before catching our Lyft. Please know that we arrived safely at our hotel. Thank you for your kindness. The Salem Cider was just crazy.
