Caramel French Patisserie

We got some carry out items that were yummy. Chocolate almond croissant (apparently only available weekends) and a elephant ear palmier. Both really delicious and not overly sweet. We'd go back for sure.

Suppose you like pastries and wearing a witch hat! Come check this place out next time you are in Salem! We enjoyed this as a family, and I am sure you will, too!

Picture perfect bakery. Beautiful displays, beautiful baked goods & their famous macarons. The macarons are delightful, decent size, perfect texture, & delicious. Any flavor you get will be amazing. Seriously such an experience.

The macarons are absolutely delicious. Texture, flavor, aesthetic appeal. They are 3.10 each or 16.75 for a box of 6. Highly recommend getting at least the box of six. Every flavor was delicious. My favorites were the chocolate and the pistachio.

Unique and delicious desserts! Look forward to trying other menu items the next time we return.

The customer service was excellent the two women that helped me were friendly and kind. The desserts I got were not only works of art (in my opinion) but they were decadent and delicious! Highly recommend! My photo does not do these desserts justice.

Some of the French desserts here are on par with those in Europe. Excellent for Massachusetts, let alone the US.

Presentation definitely gets an above and beyond, their desserts look super tasty and beautiful! We tried two, the caramel dessert and the pistachio one. OMG!! We could not stop eating them, DELICIOUS and sooo enjoyable to look at. Very cute place, not a lot of seating but it truly does not matter. Now I recommend this place as a “must go to” place when visiting Salem. Very close to all the other touristy places.

Went in this morning for just a coffee, as it was close to the parking lot. Then I saw the macarons staring at me from the counter and couldn't resist.

I picked up a s'mores macaron and oh my goodness was it incredible. I've had macarons from all over the world and this was the best. Light, stacks of flavour and held together. The chocolate ganache wasn't too rich which obviously led to me picking up some more for the journey home :).

Coffee was decent too. Not your standard roast and had an interesting if slightly acidic taste. Which is exactly what I look for in a coffee and helps with the richness of the pastries.

Staff were great. Polite, friendly and delivered a great service throughout.

Picked up a shopping bag to remind me of this very happy accident.

Loved the apricot croissant so much we came back again the next day for another. Amazing. While there visitor after visitor purchased sleeve after sleeve of their beautiful macaroons. We then tried a walnut caramel pastry and were delighted with it. Great caramel coating over a biscuit like crust and ample volume of soft walnuts. Perfection.

WOW! Amazing presentation and taste to back it up! I had the eclair, lemon meringue, chocolate twist. The girl in the front could have been a little friendlier but other than that, 10/10!

Beautiful displays, makes you want to ask for one of everything. The macarons are delightful, perfect texture, fun and interesting flavours. We also tried an almond croissant and pain au chocolat which were both delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

This place is so authentically French and adorable! They have all kinds of little pastries that all look delicious. I had the caramel mousse with poached pears on the bottom. It was the most delicious flan-like custard pastry I've ever had. The consistency was great, and the poached pear bottom was an excellent combination. I wish it would have been a little bit bigger, but it was good enough because it was pretty rich.
The kids had macarons, which were decent. The apple tart and almond croissant are also worthy of consideration. I'm pretty sure anything there is a good choice really. They also have random little French spreads and candies inside of the shop. It's all very thought out, and I'd recommend this to anyone looking for some French-inspired pastry. I'll be going back again when I'm in the area.

So I learned macaroons (coconut) and macarons (almond) are very different. Both are delicious, but my new obsession are the macarons- delicate, soft yet crunchy. Best eaten very slowly with a cup of tea! They also offer a wide variety of delicate and delicious pastries, almost too beautiful to eat and absolutely delicious. Everything from here is a treat. If you are a visitor to Salem, treat yourself to some sweets to take back to your room at night.

Wonderful French desserts here, and black coffee if you like a bitter drink with your sweets like I do. Only one man working when I was there, he was very kind and efficient. Be patient and expect to probably wait in a small line if you're there in busy season. It's worth it!!
If you like chocolate but don't want anything too heavy, try the Trois Les Chocolat. My partner got the Alice and it was wonderful too.
Wouldn't recommend bringing a large party here, but for a couple or group of 3 it is cozy.

There is a line to get into this small shop. There are only four small wicker chairs and two high tables with three to four stools. The staff is friendly and quick and answer questions nicely. The portions to price are adequate and the taste exceptional.

The honest best macarons I have ever had, spoiling all other macarons anywhere for me forever. The cakes in the case are incredible too but the earl grey macarons I would commit unspeakable things for. If Caramel shipped, I would be ruined.

Very good food. The key lime pie was to die for. The presentation is amazing! The food didn't even look real! So beautiful!
